 Join us when we invite you to take advantage of these programs – free to Variety Partner Agencies.


  Give us your best program for children with physical and/or mental disabiliIes.

  Ask for at least $5,000. Variety will not fund anything under that amount.

  We want to establish a relaIonship with kids that we support.

  We look for measurable outcomes for each program we fund.


  Funding to allow a child to parIcipate in a program.

  Brief scholarship form for each recipient. This is new.

  LeXer to the child’s family acknowledging Variety as the sponsor. New procedures -‐ Use le3er text on website, and do not copy Variety.


  Grant to provide the cost of a therapist or other professional who works directly with the children.

  A detailed descripIon of the service provided.

  The measurement tool used to determine desired outcomes.

  DocumentaIon including staIsIcs if possible for actual outcomes.


  Stuff includes educaIonal materials, equipment.

  Stuff includes recreaIonal materials, equipment.

  Stuff includes therapeuIc materials, equipment


  ApplicaIon should detail the need and expected use of the stuff.

  Stuff will require documentaIon on next year’s app in the form of receipts for the purchase of the stuff.

  Stuff can be documented further with pictures of children using it, stories regarding the outcomes of it, and numbers of children who benefiXed from it.


  Variety is commiXed to growing partnerships throughout the community with outstanding agencies dedicated to serving children with disabiliIes.

  We want to raise more money for the children.

  Our donors want to see collaboraIon and measureable outcomes!


  UIlize the knowledge you have gained today regarding documentaIon and partnership with Variety.

  When you have the Variety Visit be prepared to discuss how we can support you beXer.

  AcIvity, results, and outcome reporIng will be a principal factor in receiving future grants.

  Get a high mark for your parIcipaIon in Variety sponsored programs. It will be a determining factor in future funding and awards from Variety.


  There is no beXer children’s agency in the 30 counIes Variety serves than YOURS!

  Please join us for the 2012 Champions for Children Summit on November 13th.

  On that day you can pick up your grant award, gather some takeaways from the Community ConnecIons Forum, and celebrate all our work together at the Luncheon.
