Customers’ inquiries are processed by the

Procurement & Offer Department.

We have qualified engineers speaking fluent English

and German, they elaborate offers by use of special

Software Programs, such as: AutoCAD, E-plan,

Microsoft Project, etc.

Thanks to the prompt work organization, inquiries

get feedback in an optimal timeframe.

When an offer has been approved and a Contract

Agreement undersigned, we are able to mobilize

the required resources within 10 days - for smaller

projects (8-10 workers), and within 30-40 days -

for larger projects (more than 30 workers).

For major Projects we have the opportunity to hire

additional workforce and to employ qualified staff

from partner companies with whom we have

gained positive experience.

EL KONTROL is a registered constructor in the Bulgarian

C H A M B E R

We perform electrical installation, repair, and commissioning works in low-

voltage, middle-voltage, and high-voltage switchgears - f r o m 0 , 4 k V t o

4 0 0 k V .

• Primary Commutation installation: circuit breakers, disconnectors,

transformers, surge arresters, and complete distribution switchgears.

• Secondary Commutation installation: control panels, relay panels,

auxiliary panels, capacitors, signalization systems and electrical metering

systems.

• Substitution of MV and LV switchgears.

• Installation of busbar systems, insulation chains, lighting systems,

earthing installations and lightning-protection.

• Erection of cable trays, laying and connection of power and control

cables.

• Commissioning works.

ELECTRICAL INSTALLATION

The Inspection body performs control tests of electrical parameters, tracing

of cable lines, installation and set-up of relay protection, control of physical

parameters.

Design, installation and commissioning of fiber optic networks and lines.

Supervision of projects for installation of fiber optic equipment.

The Inspection body is equipped with high-class apparatuses and

measuring devices including a m o b i l e l a b o r a t o r y enabling high-

voltage measurements to be carried out right on the construction site.

EL KONTROL solely implements c o n s t r u c t i o n p r o j e c t s

f r o m z e r o l e v e l ( u n d e v e l o p e d t e r r a i n ) .

We maintain instrumentation, measuring devices, construction

machinery, and motor fleet required for the activities performed.

DESIGN & ASSEMBLY

EL KONTROL has 330 m2 production premises

equipped to the highest standards.

We design and assemble electrical panels by use of

software E-Plan and AutoCAD. We are able to provide

competent technical consultations and smart

engineering solutions to meet the Client’s

requirements. Panels are delivered with full technical

documentation, quality certificates and test protocols.

EXPORT

EL KONTROL has exported electrical panels for

Armenia, Georgia and Saudi Arabia.

The electrical panels for Georgia were installed into E-

houses and thus exported to construction site.

PRODUCTION CAPACITY

The time for assembly of a panel varies on its

complexity.

The average number of panels we assemble per year,

is approximately 250.

Company’s production capacity is

EL KONTROL is one of the few electrical companies in Bulgaria involved

in the construction and rehabilitation of s i x 4 0 0 k V

Since 1999 EL KONTROL has worked with a l l t h e m a j o r l o c a l a n d f o r e i g n i n v e s t o r s

in the Bulgarian Power Sector.

We have completed a number of Projects of n a t i o n a l s i g n i f i c a n c e

for the Bulgarian Energy Industry.

We have gained a considerable experience in construction and repair of

400 kV, 220 kV, 110 kV Substations. Work in 400 kV Substations is

characterized to bear the highest complexity of all.

We have completed construction of 20 kV OHL, and repair 110 kV OHL.

For industrial enterprises we implement delivery and installation of

electrical panels, rehabilitation of auxiliary switchgears, construction

of cable trays, laying of cables, commissioning works, engineering of

automation systems and maintenance of frequency drives.

In Mining Enterprises we have implemented projects for construction

and equipment of mobile substations, electrification of coal-handling

facilities, modernization of substations and excavators.

EL KONTROL has taken part in the rehabilitation of electrical installations at Thermal Power Plants (TPP)

and Flue Gas Desulphurization (FGD) Installations. We also service and maintain electrical and C&I

installations at TPP.

We have implemented projects for construction of Solar Parks, electrical installation of Wind farms and

Cogeneration Plants.

In 2011 EKONTROL executed design and installation of SCADA

System for eight railway stations, three Main Section Posts, and two

Traction Substations (TS) situated along the railway track Sofia –

Kalotina/West.

The SCADA system installed in 110/27 kV TS Voluyak enables

automatic control and surveillance from the Substation, and remote

control from the Dispatcher Center in Sofia.

In 2017 EL KONTROL executed a Project for rehabilitation of two TS

along the railway track Plovdiv–Burgas. Project includes

substitution of all the existing metal structures, 110 kV and 25 kV

electrical equipment and cables.

In addition, the MV power supply over-head lines between the TS

and the contact network were substituted, approx. 18 km total

length.

AREAS OF ACTIVITY

EL KONTROL also implements contracts for rehabilitation of equipment

and installations in accordance with the Maintenance Program of

LUKOIL Neftochim Burgas.

We took part in the Project for Construction of Heavy Residue Complex

as Sub-Contractor of TECHNIP ITALY S.P.A.

Implemented scope includes electrical installation activities,

construction of Electrical Heat-Tracing, and commissioning works.

Since 2013 EL KONTROL executes EPC Contracts in LUKOIL Neftochim Burgas

the largest Oil Refinery in Bulgaria

We present a significant project recently completed by EL KONTROL. It was awarded in August, 2017 and

finished in December, 2018.

Implemented scope includes: Dismantle, construction and electrical installation works in 110 kV

Switchyard – Primary and Secondary Commutation; Repair of Control Building; Construction of a new pump

station building, new fence and local roads; Commissioning of 220/110/20/10.5 kV Substation Karnobat.

Biovet; Construction of cable ways for 6 kV and 110 kV cables for connection between existing and new

S/st Biovet.
