Israeli forces have escalated the use of excessive force against peaceful protests in the oPt. 8 Palestinian civilians, including 2 children, were killed in the West Bank; one of whom was killed in occupiedJerusalem.129 Palestinian civilians, including 25 children, were wounded in the West Bank and Gaza Strip.Among the wounded were 3 journalists and 9 paramedics. A paramedic sustained shrapnel wounds and the otherssuffered tear gas inhalation.

Israeli forces conducted 91 incursions into Palestinian communities in the West Bank, including 14 ones inJerusalem.119 Palestinian civilians, including 35 children and a woman, were arrested.48 of them, including 14 children, were arrested in occupied Jerusalem.The offices of Menber al-Hurriya Radio and Adwar "Roles" for Social Change Association in Hebron were raided and theircontents were confiscated.

Israeli settlers have escalated their attacks against Palestinian civilians and property and settlement activitieshave continued in the West Bank.5 dunums[1], east of Salfit, were confiscated.A Palestinian civilian was run over by a settler, east of Qalqilya, due to which he sustained several fractures.

Israeli forces have turned the West Bank into cantons and continued to impose the illegal closure on the GazaStrip for the 9th year.Many temporary checkpoints were established in the West Bank and many others were re-established in a wayobstructing the traffic.9 Palestinian civilians, including 2 children, were arrested at checkpoints.Maltreatment at checkpoints have escalated.

Summary Israeli violations of international law and international humanitarian law in the oPt continued during the reporting period (29October – 04 November 2015). Shooting:

Israeli forces have continued to flagrantly commit crimes, inflicting civilian casualties. They have also continued to useexcessive force against Palestinian civilians participating in peaceful protests in the West Bank and Gaza Strip, the majority ofwhom were youngsters. Occupied East Jerusalem witnessed similar attacks. During the reporting period, Israeli forces killed 8Palestinian civilians, including 2 children, in the West Bank; one of whom was killed in occupied Jerusalem. Moreover, 129Palestinian civilians, including 25 children, 3 journalists and a paramedic, were wounded. In addition, 8 other paramedicssuffered tear gas inhalation. Fifty-six of the wounded, including a child, a journalist and a paramedic, sustained shrapnelwounds and 4 others suffered tear gas inhalation in the Gaza Strip, while the remaining others were wounded in the WestBank. Concerning the nature of injury, 87 Palestinian civilians were hit with live ammunition and 41 were hit with rubber-coatedmetal bullets. In the West Bank, killings committed by Israeli forces were as follows: On 29 October 2015, Israeli Border Guard officers stationed at the military checkpoint (160), south of Hebron's Old City, shotMahdi al-Mohtaseb (22) dead under the pretext of a stabbing attempt. On the same day, Israeli soldiers deployed in al-Shuhada Street, in the centre of Hebron's Old City, killed Farouq Seder (19),from Izone neighbourhood, east of Hebron, by opening fire at him from behind. Israeli forces claimed that he attempted to staba soldier. However, some photos posted by Israeli soldiers on social media showed that there was no knife in the crime scene. On 30 October 2015, Israeli forces stationed at Za'tara checkpoint, south of Nablus, killed Qasem Saba'na (20), from Qabatyavillage, southeast of Jenin, and seriously wounded another in a stabbing attempt. On the same day, a light rail security officer on Bar Lev Street near Shaikh Jarrah neighbourhood, north of East Jerusalem'sOld City, opened fire at Ahmed Qnaibi (23), from Kufor Aqeb neighbourhood, north of the city. As a result, he sustainedseveral bullet wounds from a close range, due to which he was transported to Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital in WestJerusalem to receive the necessary medical treatment, but he succumbed to his injuries few hours later. Israeli forces claimedthat the aforementioned person attempted to stab 2 settlers in the city. On 31 October 2015, Israeli security officers serving the Israeli forces and guarding al-Jalama crossing, northeast of Jenin,

killed Mahmoud Nazzal (17), from Qabatya village, southeast of the city, who was running towards the crossing and crying"Allah Akbar". It should be noted that he was not holding any sharp tool with him. On 01 November 2015, Israeli forces deployed at the entrance of Beit Aynoun village, east of Hebron, killed Fadi al-Faroukh(27) while being present in an agricultural land near the main street leading to the said village. It should be noted that therewere confrontations between Palestinian civilians and Israeli forces in that area. Israeli forces claimed that theaforementioned person attempted to carry out a stabbing. On 02 November 2015, Israeli forces stationed at al-Jalama crossing, northeast of Jenin, killed Ahmed Abu al-Rob (16) andwounded Mahmoud Kmail (17); both are from Qabatya village, southeast of Jenin. The first was killed when Israeli forcesordered both of them to pull up their clothes, but Abu al-Rob pulled a knife out; therefore, Israeli soldiers opened fire at himand shot him dead and wounded the other, who was then arrested. On 04 November 2015, Israeli infantry deployed at the entrance to Halahoul northern entrance opened fire at a vehicle with aPalestinian registration plate after its driver had run over 2 Israeli police officers. As a result, the driver namely Ibrahim Eskafi(22), from Khellet Hadour, south of Hebron, was killed. During the reporting period, 73 Palestinian civilians, including 24 children, were wounded in the West Bank; one of whom waswounded in occupied East Jerusalem. The Palestinian civilians wounded in the West Bank were as follows: In peaceful protests against Israeli policies: 52 Palestinian civilians, including 17 children, were wounded. Ninety-three ofthem were hit with live ammunition and 13 others were hit with rubber-coated metal bullets.In peaceful protests against Israeli incursion: 20 Palestinian civilians, including 7 children, were wounded. Four of themwere hit with live ammunition and 16 others were hit with rubber-coated metal bullets.Palestinian civilians wounded in occupied Jerusalem: 28 Palestinian civilians were wounded with rubber-coated metalbullets. In the Gaza Strip, 56 Palestinian civilians, including a child, a journalist and a paramedic, were wounded, while 4 otherparamedics suffered tear gas inhalation. Forty-four of whom were hit with live ammunition, 11 others were hit with rubber-coated metal bullets and dozens of civilians suffered tear gas inhalation. The Palestinian civilians wounded in the Gaza Strip were as follows:

North of the Gaza Strip: 6 civilians were wounded; 5 of whom sustained live bullet wounds and the 6th sustained a rubberbullet wound.Gaza City: 17 Palestinian civilians were wounded; 7 of whom sustained live bullet wounds and the 10 others sustained rubberbullet wounds.Central Gaza Strip: 19 Palestinian civilians, including a child, sustained live bullet wounds.Khan Yunis: 14 Palestinian civilians, including a paramedic and a journalist, sustained live bullet wounds. Incursions: During the reporting period, Israeli forces conducted at least 77 military incursions into Palestinian communities in the WestBank and 14 ones in occupied East Jerusalem. During these incursions, Israeli forces arrested at least 119 Palestiniancivilians, including 35 children and a woman. Forty-eight of these civilians, including 14 children, were arrested in EastJerusalem. During the reporting period, Israeli forces raided the offices of Menbar al-Hurriya Radio and Adwar "Roles" for Social ChangeAssociation in Hebron and issued a decision to close the aforementioned radio for 6 months. Moreover, they raided houses ofa number of families of Palestinians accused of carrying out stabbing and run-over attacks. They also verbally threatened

these families to confiscate and demolish their houses within a week. Restrictions on movement: Israel continued to impose a tight closure of the oPt, imposing severe restrictions on the movement of Palestinian civilians inthe Gaza Strip and the West Bank, including occupied East Jerusalem. The illegal closure of the Gaza Strip, which has been steadily tightened since June 2007 has had a disastrous impact on thehumanitarian and economic situation in the Gaza Strip. The Israeli authorities impose measures to undermine the freedom oftrade, including the basic needs for the Gaza Strip population and the agricultural and industrial products to be exported. For 9consecutive years, Israel has tightened the land and naval closure to isolate the Gaza Strip from the West Bank, includingoccupied Jerusalem, and other countries around the world. This resulted in grave violations of the economic, social andcultural rights and a deterioration of living conditions for 1.8 million people. The Israeli authorities have established Karm AbuSalem (KeremShaloum) as the sole crossing for imports and exports in order to exercise its control over the Gaza Strip’seconomy. They also aim at imposing a complete ban on the Gaza Strip’s exports. The Israeli closure raised the rate ofpoverty to 38.8%, 21.1% of which suffer from extreme poverty. Moreover, the rate of unemployment increased up to 44%,which reflects the unprecedented economic deterioration in the Gaza Strip. Settlement Activities On 29 October 2015, Israeli forces issued a military order to confiscate 5 dunums of lands in Yasouf village, east of Salfit,belonging to the heirs of Ghaleb Abdullah Deeb. On 03 November 2015, Israeli forces moved into al-Shaikh Bashir area, southeast of Jaloud village, southeast of Nablus. Theyhanded residents of the area, in which 10 families reside, notices to vacate their houses in 15 days to be demolished becausethey about 300 meters away from "Ahya" settlement that was established in 1997. It should be noted that the targeted housesare located in area (C) according to the Oslo accords. Some of these houses were built in 1975 and their owners haveconstruction licenses from the Israeli forces. The families affected by this decision consist of 38 persons, including 20 children. On Sunday, 01 November 2015, Alaa' Hassan Ibrahim al-Khateeb (25), from Jayous village, northeast of Qalqilya, was runover by a settler on the main road between Qalqila and Nablus, near Azoun intersection, east of Qalqilya. As a result, hesustained fractures to the arm and a cut in the head. Details 1. At approximately 01:30, Israeli forces moved into Tubas. They raided and searched a number of houses. Israeli forcesarrested Jihad Mustafa al-Masalamani (24) from his family house in al-Naqqar neighbourhood, east of the city, and laterwithdrew taking him to an unknown destination. Around the same time, Israeli forces moved into Hebron. They raided and searched a house belonging to Kefah 'Atiyahal-Zarou (18). They arrested the aforementioned civilian and later withdrew taking him to an unknown destination.

Around the same time, Israeli forces moved into al-'Aroub refugee camp, north of Hebron. They stationed at the mainentrance to the Camp that is connected with Bypass Road (60). They then raided and searched a number of houses. Oftheir owners were identified as Jihad al-Deen al-Badawi; Shaher Jawabrah and Mohammed Nemer Jawabrah. Israeliforces raided and searched a house belonging to 'Othman Khalil 'Adarbah (25). They arrested the aforementioned civilianand took him to an unknown destination.

At approximately 02:00, Israeli forces moved into Sotif village, west of Hebron. They raided and searched a housebelonging to the family of Jabrin Saleh Abu Farah (38). Israeli forces arrested the aforementioned civilian and laterwithdrew taking him to an unknown destination.

At approximately 02:30, Israeli forces moved into Dura, southwest of Hebron. They stationed in Naqet Noah area andthen raided and searched a house belonging to the family of Ahmed Yousif Qazzaz (18). They arrested theaforementioned civilian and later withdrew taking him to an unknown destination.

Around the same time, Israeli forces moved into al-Nabi Saleh village, northwest of Ramallah. They raided and searcheda house belonging to the family of Rola Hussein Mahmoud Tamimi (26). They arrested the aforementioned civilian andlater withdrew taking him to an unknown destination. They confiscated her cell phone and laptop.

Around the same time, Israeli forces moved into Beit rima village, northwest of Ramallah. They raided and searched ahouse belonging to Mohammed Nabet Anwar al-Khatib (26). They arrested the aforementioned civilian and later withdrewtaking him to an unknown destination. Other Israeli soldiers raided and searched a building materials store belonging toKamal Shukri al-Rimawi and Baladna Bakery belonging to Rami 'Ezat Barghuthi and his partner Mazen Rimawi afterbreaking the door locks. He confiscated the DVR of the surveillance cameras.

At approximately 03:00, Israeli forces moved into Ni'lin village, west of Ramallah. They raided and searched 3 houses.They arrested three civilians, including two brothers and later withdrew taking them to 'Ofer detention facility, southwest ofthe city. The arrested civilians were identified as Suhaib Fehmi Sorour (16); 'Abdullah Mohammed 'Abdullah 'Amirah (17)and his brother, Naser (15).

At approximately 03:30, Israeli forces moved into Beit Ummar village, north of Hebron. They stationed in 'Asidah area andthen raided and searched a house belonging to Khaled Khalil 'Adarbah (17). They arrested the aforementioned child andlater withdrew taking him to an unknown destination.

At approximately 04:30, Israeli forces moved into al-Zababdah village, southeast of Jenin. They raided and searched ahouse belonging to Taha Najeh Lutfi al-Sharqawi (28) and arrested him.

At approximately 05:00, Israeli forces moved into Jabe'a village, south of Jenin. They raided and searched a housebelonging to Murad Mohammed Sa'id Fashafashah (26) and arrested him. They raided and searched 4 other houses andhanded the owners summonses to refer to the Israeli Intelligence in Salem Camp, northwest of the city. They summonedpersons are identified as Lutfi Taher Lutfi Malayshah (26); 'Amarah 'Abdel Latif Sa'id Fashafashah (25); Murad WaleedMohammed Malayshah (26) and Nasri Saleh Sa'id Hamamrah (30). The first 3 arrested persons are former prisoners inthe Israeli prisons.

At approximately 05:30, Israeli forces moved into Eastern Barta'ah village which is isolated by its surroundings due to theannexation wall, west of Jenin. They raided and searched a house belonging to 'Ali Mohammed Wahbi Qobaha (23) andarrested him.

At approximately 07:30, Israeli forces moved into Irtah Suburb, south of Tulkarm. They raided and searched a housebelonging to Usayd Salim Ibrahim al-Khouli (17) and arrested him. Israeli forces later withdrew from the suburb and tookhim to an unknown destination.

At approximately 08:00, Israeli forces stationed at Checkpoint 160 established in the southern area of the Old City inHebron separating al-Salaymah neighbourhood and the adjacent neighbourhoods from Tariq Bin Ziad area killed MahdiMohammed Ramdan al-Muhtaseb (22) from al-Kasarah area. Israeli forces claimed that he attempted to stab one of thesoldiers. Around 10 minutes later, he was taken to an unknown destination.According to PCHR's investigations and eyewitnesses at approximately 07:15 on the aforementioned day, clashes brokeout between a group of UNRWA and governmental school students and Israeli soldiers stationed at the aforementioned

checkpoint. The students threw stones at the Israeli soldiers who in response fired sound bombs and tear gas canisters.When students entered the schools before 08:00 and according to Eyewitnesses, Mahdi al-Muhtaseb was seen runningfrom the checkpoint gate towards the street to the south, where clashes usually happens. When he ran around 30meters, he was hit with several bullets and fell on the ground. After less than a minute, an Israeli soldier stationed at thecheckpoint fired a bullet at the young man but it hit the ground. Meanwhile, an Israeli border patrol officer ran from thecheckpoint towards him and stopped only two meters away from the young man who tried to move. However, the Israelisoldier fired another bullet at him from the same distance. Other Israeli soldiers arrived when a group of residentsgathered in the area trying to approach al-Mohtaseb, but the soldiers prevented them and took him after 10 minuteswithout giving him any first aid. He was then transferred by a military ambulance to an unknown destination. It should bementioned that all residents of al-Kassarah area use the aforementioned checkpoint because it is considered the closestaccess to the city centre. Israeli authorities claimed that the young man attempted to stab an Israeli soldier stationed atthe checkpoint while they published another story that an Israeli border officer was wounded due to being hit with a stoneat his face.

At approximately 11:00, Israeli forces deployed in al-Shuhadaa' Street in the centre of the Old City in Hebron killed Farouq'Abdel Qader Seder 'Omer Seder (19) from Izone neighbourhood to the east of Hebron after shooting him from Behindnear the stairs leading to Cordoba School and few meters only to the north of the checkpoint leading to al-Daboya area. The aforementioned civilian was taken by a Red Star of David ambulance to an unknown destination. Israeli authoritiesclaimed that the young man attempted to stab an Israeli soldier. Meanwhile, some photos published by Israeli forces onSocial Media showed that there was no knife in the scene. When the news of Seder's murder spread, dozens ofPalestinian young men gathered at the entrance to al-Shuhadaa' Street, where Israeli forces established Checkpoint (56),while Israeli authorities declared the area as a close military zone.

At approximately 03:00, Israeli forces moved into Nablus. They raided and searched a number of houses. Israeli forcesarrested Hussam Muti'a al-'Aaloul (40) from his house in the vicinity of al-Qaser Hotel in Rafidia neighbourhood, west of thecity, and later withdrew taking him to an unknown destination.

At approximately 03:30, Israeli forces moved into Jenin. They raided and searched a house belonging to the family ofMo'ayad Zuhair Amin Abu 'Obeid (35) and arrested him. At approximately 05:00, Israeli forces moved into Jeet village, northeast of Qalqilya. They raided and searched a housebelonging to Shawqi Mohammed Yousif Yasin (19). They arrested the aforementioned civilian and later withdrew taking him toan unknown destination. At noon, Israeli forces stationed at Za'atarah checkpoint, south of Nablus, killed a Palestinian civilian and seriously woundedanother one. According to PCHR's investigations and eyewitnesses, at approximately 12:00 on the aforementioned day, amotorbike travelled by two young men coming from Ramallah stopped behind a white Mercedes car with a Palestinianregistration plate. The car was subject to searching in al-Rajrajah area before arriving at Za'atarah checkpoint. Two youngmen get off the bike and ran towards two soldiers; one of them was a female. The two soldiers were checking the ID cards ofthe Mercedes's passengers. One of the two young men was carrying a knife and the other was holding a razor blade. Thetwo soldiers immediately escaped from the right side of the street to the left side. The female soldier opened fire from adistance of 15 to 20 meters at the upper part of the two young men's bodies. They fell on the ground imbrued in their blood infront of the Mercedes. The two soldiers again fired at them and after around 10 minutes, an Israeli military ambulance arrivedand paramedics in military uniforms got off it. The soldiers turned one of them on his back and found that he died. However,the other one moved his head, so the soldiers brought medical devices from the ambulance and checked him. A PRCSambulance then arrived and allowed it to transfer the wounded person to Rafidi governmental hospital in Nablus. Hiscondition was serious as a bullet entered his abdomen and went out of his anus. It was later found out that the killed personwas identified as Qassem Mahmoud Qassem Saba'nah (20) from Qabatia village, southeast of Jenin, and the wounded wasidentified as Basem Fares Ibrahim al-na'asan (21) from al-Moghir village in Ramallah. At approximately 13:15, Israeli forces moved into 'Azoun village, east of Qalqilya. A number of Palestinian children and youngmen gathered to throw stones at them. The Israeli soldiers fired tear gas canisters and metal bullets. As a result, a 13-year-old child was hit with a metal bullet below the abdomen and another bullet below the right waist.

At approximately 14:00, Israeli forces moved into Deir Nizam village, northwest of Ramallah. They deployed in the agriculturallands and in the vicinity of the houses. A number of Palestinian children and young men gathered to throw stones and empty

bottles at the soldiers. The soldiers chased the stone-throwers and heavily fired metal and live bullets; sound bombs and teargas canisters at them. As a result, a 17-year old child was hit with a live bullet to the left leg. At approximately 14:30, Israeli forces moved into Beit Ummar village, north of Hebron. They stationed in 'Asidah area, and anumber of Palestinian youngsters gathered to throw stones while other soldiers closed the main streets with iron barriers andbricks. The Israeli soldiers deployed in the area and started firing metal bullets, sound bombs and tear gas canisters at thestone-throwers. Meanwhile, Israeli military backups accompanied with skunk water vehicles arrived at the area and soakedthe area with waste water. A group of soldiers chased the young men between the houses and arrested Samer MahmoudDawoud al-Alami (23) taking him to an unknown destination.

At approximately 18:30, Israeli forces moved into Qalqilya. They patrolled the streets when a number of Palestinian childrengathered to throw stones at them. The Israeli soldiers in response fired tear gas canisters and metal bullets. As a result, a13-year-old child was hit with a metal bullet to the left knee, and 19-year-old was hit with a bullet to the left foot. Israeli forcesalso arrested Mahmoud Wadi'a Mujahed al-Shweiki (14) and took him to an unknown destination.

Note: During the aforementioned day, Israeli forces carried out 4 incursions in the following areas without reporting anyarrests: Ethna and Beit Oula villages, west of Hebron; al-Burj and Beit 'Awwa villages, southwest of Dura, southwest ofHebron; al-Fondq and 'Azoun villages, east of Qalqilya.

At approximately 05:30, Israeli forces moved into al-Balou'a neighborhood in al-Bireh. They raided and searched anapartment, where they arrested 'Amer Jamal Yousif Jaradat (24) and did not allow him to put on his clothes. He wastaken to "Beit Eil" settlement, and the aforementioned arrested person is a student in Al-Quds Open University inRamallah and from Silet al-Harithiyah village, north of Jenin. In excessive use of force, Israeli security company officers serving the Israeli forces and guarding al-Jalamah crossing,northeast of Jenin, killed a Palestinian child, who was running towards the checkpoint calling "Allah Akbar", but he was notcarrying a sharp tool. The Israeli officers could have used less lethal force and arrested him especially that they verballywarned him to stop.According to PCHR's investigations, at approximately 08:00 on Saturday, 31 October 2015, when the movement at thecrossing was normal, Mahmoud Talal Mahmoud Nazzal (17) from Qabatia village, southeast of Jenin, ran towards thecheckpoint gate. The Israeli guards stationed at the watchtower shouted at him to stop, but he started saying "AllahAkbar". One of the guards fired around 8 live bullets at him, so he fell to the ground. The guards pulled his body foraround 100 meters to the crossing gate and left him on the ground. They prevented PRCS ambulances to approach thevictim. After two hours, the corpse was given to the Palestinian Military Liaison that transferred him to Dr. Khail Solimangovernmental Hospital in Jenin by an ambulance belonging to the same society. Note: During the aforementioned day, Israeli forces carried out 5 incursions in the following areas without reporting anyarrests: Selwad village, northeast of Ramallah; al-Zawiyah village, west of Salfit; and Hawarah village, south of Nablus.

Sunday, 01 November 2015 At approximately 01:00, Israeli forces moved into al-Fawwar refugee camp, south of Hebron. They stationed in the areabetween al-Rihiyah village and the camp. Tey then raided and searched a house belonging to Suhaib Mahmoud Abu Wardah(26). They arrested the aforementioned civilian and later withdrew taking him to an unknown destination.

At approximately 01:30, Israeli forces moved into Beit Ummar village, north of Hebron. They stationed in the centre of thevillage and then raided and searched a number of houses. They arrested Yehoa Ahmed Sabarnah (25); Ibrahim Khalil AbuDayyah (25); Malek Bassam al-Teet (16) and Suhaib Khaled Sabarnah (17) and later withdrew taking them to an unknowndestination. Israeli forces also handed Mohammed 'Emad Khalil Qoqas Ikhlayel (20) a summons to refer to the IsraeliIntelligence in "Gosh 'Etzion" settlement in Bethlehem.

Around the same time, Israeli forces moved into Karmah village, southeast of Dura, southwest of Hebron. Israeli forcesstationed near the governmental school and then raided and searched a house belonging to Mohammed Abu Sheikhah (44).

Israeli forces arrested Yousif (20) and Mo'az (18) and later withdrew taking them to an unknown destination.

At approximately 02:30, Israeli forces moved into Yata, south of Hebron. They stationed in al-Karmel area and then raidedand searched a house belonging to Mo'az Taysir Nawaj'ah (20). They arrested the aforementioned civilian and later withdrewtaking him to an unknown destination.

At approximately 03:45, Israeli forces moved into Qasrah village, southeast of Nablus. They raided and searched a number ofhouses. They arrested Hussein Mohammed Ahmed Abu Reidah (50), Treasurer of the village council, and his son Tariq (22)from their house in al-Mraba'ah area, west of the aforementioned village. Israeli forces later withdrew taking them to anunknown destination.

At approximately 04:00, Israeli forces raided and searched a house belonging to Hazem 'Asakrah in al-'Asakrah village, eastof Bethlehem. They arrested his son, Mohammed (15), and took him to an unknown destination. At approximately 01:30, Israeli forces deployed at the entrance of Beit 'Aynoun village, east of Hebron killed Fadi Hasan 'Issaal-Faroukh (27) after opening fire at him several times when he was in the agricultural field adjacent to the main street leadingto the village from the western side. There were clashes in the area between Palestinian young men and Israeli soldiersfollowing the funeral procession of Ra'ed Saket Jaradat (22) who was killed by Israeli forces on 26 October 2015 in the samearea. Israeli forces claimed that al-Faroukh intended to carry put a stabbing attack, so the Israeli soldiers opened fire at himkilling immediately. The Israeli soldiers prevented any PRCS ambulance to approach him and took his body to an unknowndestination. After inspecting the scene, Israeli forces consider the area in the vicinity of Bypass Road (60) at the entrance ofBeit 'Aynoun a "Danger Zone" in case clashes erupt. There was no evidence that the young man attempted to stab one of theIsraeli soldiers, who had opened fire at him before he reached the road. Thus, Faroukh did not pose any threat to the soldiers'lives. Moreover, the Israeli soldiers could have arrested him as he was physically disabled.

At approximately 16:30, Israeli forces raided and searched a house belonging to Isma'il Mohammed Za'oul (41) from Housanvillage, west of Bethlehem. They arrested him and his child, 'Ezz al-Deen (10) and took him to an unknown destination.

At approximately 01:00, Israeli forces moved into Bani Na'im village, east of Hebron. They stationed near the Grand Mosquein the center of the village and then raided and searched a house belonging to Mohammed Salah al-Hajouh (17). Israeliforces arrested the aforementioned civilian and later withdrew taking him to an unknown destination.

At approximately 01:15, Israeli forces moved into Nablus. They raided and searched a number of houses. The Israeli soldiersarrested four civilians and confiscated 23,000 NIS from one of the houses and took them to an unknown destination. Thearrested persons were identified as:

Mohammed Sa'adi Faroum (34) arrested from his house in al-Mureij Street;

Ahmed 'Othman Ja'arah (32) who works in al-Tadamon Charitable Society. He was arrested from his house in Mo'tah Streetand Israeli forces confiscated the aforementioned money;

Mohammed Belal 'Abdel Rahim al-'Azizi (25) arrested from his house in Tal'et al-Rahbat in the Northern Moutnain and

'Ezz Rafiq Abu al-Kalbat (40) arrested from his house in al-Faris Intersection Street.

At approximately 01:30, Israeli forces moved into Bitounia village, west of Ramallah. They raided and searched twohouses. They arrested Ahmed Samir Naser (25) and Mustafa Qasem Nassar (30) and took them to "Benyamin" policeStation, northeast of Jerusalem. At approximately 17:00, they were released. Around the same time, Israeli forces moved into Yata, south of Hebron. They stationed in Roq'ah village and then raidedand searched a house belonging to the family of Mohammed Naser Hussein al-'Adrah (16). They arrested theaforementioned child and later withdrew taking him to an unknown destination.

At approximately 02:00, Israeli forces moved into Kafr Qalil village, south of Nablus. They raided and searched a numberof houses. They arrested Ahmed Nabil al-Qani (20) and later withdrew taking him to an unknown destination.

At approximately 02:30, Israeli forces moved into Qabataia village, south of Jenin. They raided and searched a housebelonging to the family of Ahmed Mohammed Sa'id Kmeil (17), who was killed by Israeli guards at al-Jalamah Crossing,northeast of Jenin, on Saturday, 22 October 2015 under the pretext of carrying out a stabbing attack at the checkpoint.The Israeli soldiers locked all the family members in one room and questioned them on the spot. They confiscated thecell phone of the aforementioned child and some photos of him. Around an hour later, Israeli forces withdrew from thevillage, and no further incidents were reported.

At approximately 03:00, Israeli forces moved into Beit Ummar village, north of Hebron. They raided and searched anumber of houses and arrested 3 civilians. Israeli forces later withdrew taking them to an unknown destination. Thearrested persons were identified as Mohie Mohammed Khader Abu Mariah (118); Qosay Ra'ed Sharif Abu Hashem (17)and 'Omer Riyadh 'Issa 'Arar (15). At approximately 03:30, Israeli forces moved into al-Jalzone refugee camp, north of Ramallah. They raided and searchedtwo houses. They arrested Ahmed Subhi al-'Abed Zaid (17) and Nour al-Deen Bassam Saqer (19).

At approximately 05:30, Israeli forces moved into Deir Jarir village, northeast of Ramallah. They raided and searched ahouse belonging to the family of Haitham Jamil 'Ajaj (18), a student at Birzeit University. They arrested theaforementioned civilian and later withdrew taking him to an unknown destination.

In the morning, Israeli forces committed at al-Jalamah crossing, northeast of Jenin, a new crime of excessive use of forceand killed a Palestinian child in addition to wounding and arresting another.According to PCHR's investigations, at approximately 09:00 on the aforementioned day, the movement at the crossingwas very normal when Ahmed 'Awad Mohammed Abu al-Rub (16) and Mahmoud Mo'emen Mahmoud Kmeil (17); bothfrom Qabatia village, southeast of Jenin, were in a gas station, which is only 50 meters away from the crossing. Israeliforces suspected them, so two military jeeps approached the gas station. The soldiers get off the jeeps, stopped the twochildren in the middle of the station and pointed their arms at them. The Israeli soldiers ordered the two children to takeoff their clothes. When Abu al-Rub pulled out a knife, the Israeli soldiers opened fire at him and killed him immediately andthen fired at the lower part of Kmeil's body. Kmeil was wounded and then arrested. Meanwhile Israeli forces closed thecrossing area and the area opposite to it. The Israeli vehicles moved 200 meters ahead forming a barrier between thecrossing area and Jenin.When the news spread out, dozens residents of Jenin City gathered in the vicinity of al-Jalamah crossing. Palestinianyoung men threw stones at the Israeli vehicles while the Israeli soldiers fired tear gas canisters, sound bombs and metalbullets at them. Meanwhile, an Israeli military jeep fired sound bombs and tear gas canisters at journalists gathering nearthe scene. As a result, a number of them suffered tear gas inhalation and were treated on the spot. Note: During the aforementioned day, Israeli forces carried out 3 incursions in the following areas without reporting anyarrests: Silet al-Harithiyah village, north of Jenin ; Kharas village, west of Hebron and Zaboubah village, northwest of thecity.

At approximately 01:00, Israeli forces moved into Sorif village, northwest of Hebron. They raided and searched a housebelonging to Mohammed 'Amer Hadoush (21). They arrested the aforementioned civilian and later withdrew taking him toan unknown destination. Israeli forces arrested Merwan Mohammed Abu Farah (20) after raiding and searching hisfamily house. Meanwhile, other Israeli soldiers raided and searched a house belonging to the family of martyr MahmoudKhaled Ghneimat (20) and the house of wounded Meqdad al-Heeh (21). It should be noted that on 21 October 2015,Israeli police officers opened fire at them in Beit Sheimesh area in Israel under the pretext of attempting to carry out astabbing attack. The Israeli soldiers took photos of both houses and the houses' measures. Israeli forces later withdrew,but no arrests were reported. Around the same time, Israeli forces moved into al-Mowareq village, southwest of Dura, southwest of Hebron. Theyraided and searched a house belonging to the family of Eyad Khalil 'Awawdah (26), who was killed by Israeli forces at thenorthern entrance of Hebron on 16 October 2015 after stabbing an Israeli soldier. The Israeli soldiers took photos of bothhouses and the houses' measures. They verbally threatened his family to seize and demolish their house in a week. At approximately 01:30, Israeli forces moved into Nablus. They stationed in Balatet al-Balad in the eastern side of the

city, and some workers, whom they brought, started entering equipment, vehicles and construction materials into "JosephTomb". They did repair to the place, which was burnt few weeks ago in presence of Chief Rabbis and specialists inreconstruction. Israeli forces established an iron gate at the tomb and then withdrew. Meanwhile, Israeli forces raidedand searched a number of houses. They arrested Ya'qoub 'Abdel Latif Mohammed Isteitiyah (28) from his house inRafidia neighborhood, west of the city and Ahmed Khalil Ahmed al-Shalabi (43) from his apartment in al-Shalabi buildingbehind al-Qasr Hotel in the University Street, west of the city and later withdrew taking them to an unknown destination.Meanwhile, Nathir Mohammed 'Ali Bsharat (31), a farmer from Tamoun village, southeast of Tubas, was surprised thatIsraeli forces closed the entrance to the Central Vegetables Market. The soldiers asked him to come back, so he agreed. He turned his car and took a dirt road leading to the market. Bsharat arrived at the market gate, but he was surprisedwith a military jeep and a group of Israeli soldiers near the gate. The soldiers fired 4 metal bullets at the front windshieldhis Mercedes 410 tender and 5 bullets at the car front and the driver's door.

Around the same time, Israeli forces moved intoKhelet Hadour in the southern area in Hebron. They raided and searcheda house belonging to the family of Ziad No'aman Natshah (16), who was killed by Israeli forces at the northern entrance ofal-Shuhadaa' Street on 17 October 2015 after stabbing an Israeli soldier there. The Israeli soldiers took photos of bothhouses and the houses' measures. They verbally threatened his family to seize and demolish their house in a week. Around the same time, Israeli forces moved al-Salam Street in the centre of Hebron. They raided and searched a housebelonging to the family of Dania Jihad Irshayed (17) who was killed by Israeli forces at the Ibrahimi Mosque on 17October 2015 after stabbing an Israeli soldier. The Israeli soldiers took photos of both houses and the houses'measures. They verbally threatened his family to seize and demolish their house in a week.

At approximately 01:50, Israeli forces moved into Ras al-Joura area in the northern area in Hebron. They stationed in thevicinity of Ihriz building and then raided and searched the office of Menbar al-Horiyhah Radio and Adwar "Roles" forSocial Change Association in the 8th floor. The Israeli soldiers detained Mohammed Farahat I'abeido, BroadcastEngineerin the Radio and Presenter Mahmoud 'Othman Qneibi and destroyed and searched the contents of the office. Israeli forces confiscated all the electronic devices, including the radio transmitter, 4 audio mixers, 7 microphones, 13other computers, four 23-inch televisions, 160 Vero Cameras; 2 Digital Cameras, 3 Press vests with a helmet, 4 Hi Birdfor broadcast devices, audio organizer, audio filter, 3 stereos, 12 surveillance cameras, a DVR and two headphones. TheIsraeli soldiers aldo destroyed the soundproofing walls of in the studio used for broadcasting and cutting all the electricityand internet wires, false ceilings. They also stole USD 270 and two gold rings belonging to one of the female employees.Ayman Na'im al-Qawasmah, Director of the Radio, said to a PCHR fieldworker that the financial loss is around USD350,000, and the Israeli soldiers handed him a military order to shut down the Radio office for 6 months from the date ofdelivery. The Israeli soldiers also informed Mahmoud Qoneibi and Mohammed I'Beido to refer to the Israeli Intelluigencein "Gosh 'Etzion" settlement, south of Bethlehem. Israeli authorities claimed that Manbar al-Horiyah Radi broadcastsinciting programs to mobilize people to go into the streets. The Israeli sodliers also raided Adwar for Social ChangeAssociation, which is a women's association for human rights, after blowing up its main door. The soldiers confiscated 3computers and searched the office. Sahar Yousif al-Qawasmah, Director of the association, said that the Israeli soldiersintended to raide the office and search it.

At approximately 02:00, Israeli forces moved into Bir al-Basha, south of Jenin. They raided and searched a house belongingto the family of Amir Jamal Ghawadrah (27). Israeli forces later withdrew, and no further incidents were reported.At approximately 02:30, Israeli forces moved into Yata, south of Hebron, they stationed into the centre of the city and raidedand searched two houses. They arrested Sanad Mohammed Salim Moghnem (14); Hammad Mohammed HammadMoghnem (13) and Mohammed 'Abdel Mo'ez Taha. Israeli forces later withdrew taking him to an unknown destination.

At approximately 03:00, Israeli forces moved into Jenin. They raided and searched a house belonging to Usamah NaserHasan Saleh (19) and arrested him. They also raided and searched a house belonging to the family of Baker Helal Ahmed al-Sabe'a (18) and arrested him as well. Around the same time, Israeli forces moved into Deir Samit village, southwest of Dura southwestof Hebron. They raided andsearched a house belonging to the family of 'Oday Hashem Mohammed Maslamah (23) who was killed by Israeli forces in thevillage on 20 October 2015 after stabbing an Israeli soldier there. The Israeli soldiers took photos of both houses and thehouses' measures. They verbally threatened his family to seize and demolish their house in a week. Around the same time, Israel forces moved into Bal'a village, northeast of Tulakrm. They raided and searched a house

belonging to the family of Ziad Reda "Ahmed Taher" Mer'ie (22), who was arrested by Israeli forces in "Netanya" under theclaims of carrying out a stabbing attack. They also questioned the residents of the house on the spot. Meanwhile, otherIsraeli soldiers raided and searched a house belonging to the family of 'Ali Sa'id Hussein Ya'aqoub (22). Israeli forces laterwithdrew and no further incidents were reported. At approximately 03:30, Israeli forces moved into al-Gharous Valley, east of Hebron. They raided and searched a housebelonging to the family of Bayan Ayman 'Abdel Wahab 'Asaliyah (16) who was killed by Israeli forces at the checkpointestablished at the aforementioned village entrance on 17 October 2015 claiming that he stabbed a soldier. The Israelisoldiers took photos of both houses and the houses' measures. They verbally threatened his family to seize and demolishtheir house in a week.

At approximately 14:00, Israeli forces moved into Beit Ummar village, north of Hebron. They stationed in Safa area, north ofthe village and deployed between the houses. Dozens of young men gathered to throw stones at the soldiers, who inresponse fired tear gas canisters and live bullets at them. As a result, a 20-year-old young man was hit with a bullet to theright shoulder.

Wednesday, 04 November 2015 At approximately 00:30, Israeli forces moved into Qabatia village, southeast of Hebron. They raided and searched MajdMohammed Tawifq Kumeil (27) and arrested him. The Israeli soldiers then raided and searched a house belonging to thefamily of Salah al-Deen Najeh Kumeil (22) and arrested him as well.

At approximately 02:00, Israeli forces moved into al-Nabi Saleh village, northwest of Ramallah. They raided and searched 6houses accompanying a tracker dog. They held the family members in one room, and the force officer questioned them onthe spot about the village residents under threats. Israeli forces arrested 'Asem and Mo'atasem Samih Mohammed Tamimi(18) and Basel Ahmed 'Odah (19) and later withdrew taking them to an unknown destination. Around the same time, Israeli forces moved into 'Orif village, south of Nablus. They raided and searched a number ofhouses. They arrested Samih Khaled al-Safadi (23) and later withdrew taking him to an unknown destination. Around the same time, Israeli forces moved into Salem village, northeast of Nablus. They raided and searched a number ofhouses. They arrested Riyad Ghazi Jobour (25) and later withdrew taking him to an unknown destination. At approximately 03:00, Israeli forces moved into Selwad village, northeast of Ramallah. They raided and searched 3 housesaccompanying a tracker dog after breaking the main doors of the house with a sharp tool. They arrested Mohammed 'AbdelMajeed Hammad (29); Harbi Naser 'Afif Hammad (32) and Haitham Faris Ibrahim Hamed (33) and later withdrew taking themto an unknown destination. Around the same time, Israeli forces moved into Kharsa village, south of Dura, southwest of Hebron. They stationed in theeastern area of the village and thenr aided and searched a house belonging to the family of Ayman 'Ali Itbeish (36). Theyhanded him a summons to refer to the Israeli Intelligence in "Gosh 'Etzion" settlement, south of Bethlehem. At approximately 03:30, Israeli forces moved into al-Fawar refugee camp, south of Hebron. They stationed near the UNRWAschools and then raided and searched 3 houses. They arrested Waahid Khaled al-Titi (15); 'Abdullah Mahmoud Nassar (34)and Mahmoud 'Issa Brahmiyah (33) and later withdrew taking them to an unknown destination. At approximately 04:00, Israeli forces moved into 'Askar al-Jadeed refugee camp, northeast of Nablus. Palestinian childrengathered to throw stones at the Israeli vehicles. The Israeli soldier immediately fired metal bullets at them. As a result, a 19-year old civilian was hit with a metal bullet to the right eye bursting it. At approximately 13:00, Israeli forces moved into Beit Ummar village, north of Hebron. They stationed in the centre of thevillage and then raided and searched a house belonging to Ahmed Ref'at al-Sleibi (17). They arrested the aforementionedchild and later withdrew taking him to where the vehicles were stationed. Meanwhile, other Israeli soldiers raided andsearched a house belonging to the family of Bader Mahmoud AKhlil under the pretext of searching for his son, Mahmoud, who

has been in the Israeli prisons for more than a year. At approximately 16:00, Israeli forces deployed at the northern entrance to Halhoul opened fire at a Hyundai vehicle with aPalestinian registration plate after its driver ran over two Israeli police officers and wounded them according to Israeli newswebsites. As a result, the driver identified as Ibrahim Samir Ibrahim Skafi (22) from Khelet Hadour area in the southern areain Hebron. After declaring his death, Skafi's corpse was taken to an unknown destination. At approximately 20:00, Israeliauthorities handed the corpse to a PRCS ambulance and were then taken to Hebron Governmental hospital. At approximately 17:00, Israeli forces moved into Qasrah village, southeast of Nablus. They stationed in the southern area ofthe village near the public park. A number of Palestinian young men and children gathered to throw stones at the vehicles. The Israeli soldiers in response fired metal bullets and tear gas canisters at them. As result, 12 civilian were wounded withmetal bullets. Of whom were four children and Correspondent of al-Kufiyah Radio, Samer Sharif 'Odah (22), who was hit witha metal bullet to the left thigh. At approximately 21:45, Israeli forces stationed along the border fence between the Gaza Strip and Israel, east of al-SalqaValley village, east of Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip opened fire at the aforementioned village. As a result, 'AbdelMajeed Salem Brei'em (23) was hit with a bullet to the left foot. The aforementioned was wounded when he was sitting withothers in the vicinity of his house in al-Salqa Valley village and only 800 meters away from the border fence. Theaforementioned wounded was then taken to al-Aqsa Martyrs hospital in Deir al-Balah to receive medical treatment. 2. On Thursday afternoon, 29 October 2015, in spite of the bad weather, dozens of young men and youngsters gathered near al-Huda Gas Station and City In Hotel in al-Balou' neighbourhood, at the northern entrance to al-Bireh city. They then headed tothe (DCO) military checkpoint and "Beit Eill" settlement. The protestors set fire to rubber tires and threw stones at Israelisoldiers that fired live ammunition, rubber-coated metal bullets, sound bombs and tear gas canisters and sprayed wastewaterin response. As a result, 9 civilians, including 2 children, were wounded; 5 of whom were hit with live bullets and 4 others werehit with rubber-coated metal bullets.

On Friday afternoon, a group of youngsters gathered at al-Taweel Mountain, adjacent to "Bsagot" settlement in al-Beiravillage, to organize a demonstration in protest at the Israeli forces' policy and settlers' attacks against al-Aqsa Mosque. Protesters threw stones at the settlement's fence and set fire to rubber tires. Due to which, Israeli forces stationed at the areafired live ammunition, rubber-coated metal bullets, tear gas canisters and sound bombs at the protests in response. As aresult, many civilians suffered tear gas inhalation and others sustained bruises as Israeli soldiers beat them up. Around the same time, dozens of youngsters gathered near the annexation wall established in Badras village, west ofRamallah and al-Bireh, in protest at the Israeli forces and settlers' attacks. The protesters threw stones at the soldiersstationed behind the wall. Due to which, Israeli soldiers fired live ammunition, tear gas canisters and sound bombs at theprotesters and chased them inside the village. As a result, many civilians suffered tear gas inhalation and others sustainedbruises as Israeli soldiers beat them up. At approximately 02:00 on Friday, 30 October 2015, dozens of youngsters gathered at Bab al-Zawia area and al-Sa'aintersection in the centre of Hebron. The protesters set fire to rubber tires and then headed to the northern entrance of al-Shohada Street, where Israeli forces established a military checkpoint (56). Additionally, they threw stones at the soldiersstationed at the checkpoint fired sound bombs and tear gas canisters against the protesters. Moreover, a number of soldiersmarched at Bab al-Zawia area, deployed between the shops and then fired rubber-coated metal bullets and live ammunition atthe protester. As a result, 3 civilians, including 2 children, were wounded. An 18-year-old male was hit with a bullet to the rightleg, a 17-year-old male was hit with a bullet to the left knee, while a 15-year-old male was hit with a bullet to the upper part ofthe right knee.

On Friday afternoon, dozens of youngsters gathered near al-Huda Petrol Station and City In Hotel in al-Balou' neighbourhood,at the northern entrance of al-Beira city. They then headed to the (DCO) military checkpoint and "Beit Eill" settlement. Theprotestors set fire to rubber tires and threw stones at Israeli soldiers that fired live ammunition, rubber-coated metal bullets,sound bombs and tear gas canisters and sprayed wastewater at protesters in response. As a result, 14 civilians, including 5children, were wounded; 11 of whom were hit with live bullets and 3 others were hit with rubber-coated metal bullets.Moreover, Israeli Border Guard officers intentionally ran over Maher Ganem Faroukh (27) and hit him with gun butts. Due towhich, Maher sustained wounds to the head and left leg. He also sustained bruises to the legs. The Israeli officers then tookMaher to an unknown destination after beating him up and preventing medical crews from helping him. Furthermore, Israelisoldiers beat the journalists and gravely pushed them. In addition, they sprayed pepper-spray over their faces. The injuredpersons, including 3 paramedics and an ambulance working at the Palestin Red Crescent Society (PRCS), were identified as:

1. Karem Mahmoud Taha (35);

2. Basam Harish (35);

3. Basem Sadqa (40); and

4. A solidarity activist, Ayman Dar Ahmed (22).

Additionally, among the injured journalists was Monther Mohammed Khateeb (30), a photojournalist at al-Ghad al-ArabiNews Channel.

Following the Friday prayer, on 31 October 2015, tens of thousands of Hebron's residents organized a peacefuldemonstration in front of al-Husain Bin Ali Mosque in 'Ain Sara area, in the centre of the city, to participate in a funeralprocession of 5 children, who were killed by Israeli soldiers in early October, claiming that they attempted to carry outstabbings. The killed civilians were identified as :

1. Bayan Ayman al-'Esaili;

2. Dania Jihad Arshid;

3. Bashar and Husam al-Ja'bari; and

4. Tareq Natsha.

The protesters then headed to al-Shohada Cemetery, chanted national slogans and raised Palestinian flags. When theygot into the entrance leading to al-Sheikh neighbourhood, dozens of young men headed to Bab al-Zawia area near thenorthern entrance to al-Shohada Street, where military checkpoint (56) is established. The protesters threw stones at thesoldiers stationed behind a military watchtower. Israeli soldiers fired sound bombs and tear gas canisters at theprotesters that deployed at Bab al-Zawia area and al-Sa'a intersection in response. In the meantime, hundreds ofcivilians gathered in the area to see what was happening. Due to which, Israeli soldiers indiscriminately fired heavily teargas canisters at the Palestinian civilians. As a result, many civilians suffered tear gas inhalation and were treated on thespot by the PRCS crews. By the end of funeral, dozens of youngsters headed to the aforementioned area and threwstones at a number of soldiers that topped the residential houses near the checkpoint. Additionally, Israeli soldiers firedlive ammunition at the stones throwers. As a result, 13 civilians, including a child, were hit with live bullets.

· On Saturday afternoon, dozens of young men and youngsters gathered near al-Huda Petrol Station and City In Hotel in al-

Balou' neighbourhood, at the northern entrance to al-Beira city. They then headed to the (DCO) military checkpoint and"Beit Eill" settlement. The protestors set fire to tires and threw stones at Israeli soldiers that fired live ammunition, rubber-coated metal bullets, sound bombs and tear gas canisters and sprayed wastewater in response. As a result, 3 civilians,including 2 children, were wounded; 2 of whom were hit with live bullets while another was hit with a rubber-coated metalbullet.

· On Sunday afternoon, 01 November 2015, dozens of Bir Ziet University students gathered near al-Huda Petrol Station andCity In Hotel in al-Balou' neighbourhood, at the northern entrance to al-Beira city. They then headed to the (DCO) militarycheckpoint and "Beit Eill" settlement. The protestors set fire to tires and threw stones at Israeli soldiers that fired liveammunition, rubber-coated metal bullets, sound bombs and tear gas canisters and sprayed wastewater in response. As aresult, 4 civilians were wounded; 2 of whom were hit with live bullets and another one was hit with a rubber-coated metalbullet.

· On Monday afternoon, 02 November 2015, dozens of young men and youngsters gathered near al-Huda Petrol Station andCity In Hotel in al-Balou' neighbourhood, at the northern entrance of al-Beira city. They then headed to the (DCO) militarycheckpoint and "Beit Eill" settlement. The protestors set fire to tires and threw stones at Israeli soldiers that fired liveammunition, rubber-coated metal bullets, sound bombs and tear gas canisters and sprayed wastewater in response. As aresult, a 22-year-old male was hit with 2 rubber-coated metal bullets to the head and chest. He was then taken to thePalestine Medical Complex in Ramallah to receive medical treatment.

· At approximately 15:00, dozens of young men and youngsters gathered in Qatana village, northwest of Jerusalem, after

participating in a funeral procession of Omar Mohammed al-Fiqeh (23), who was killed on 07 October 2015, when Israeliforces opened fire at him at Qalandia military checkpoint, north of Jerusalem, under the pretext of wearing an explosivebelt; in addition to the funeral of Mohammed Nazmi Shamasna (22), who was killed on 12 October 2015, after was beatenand insulted by Israeli settlers in an Israeli bus, where Israeli forces opened fire at him in a Central Station, west ofJerusalem, claiming that he attempted to stab someone. Furthermore, confrontations erupted and led to the killing of 2children. They were then taken to the Palestine Medical Complex in Ramallah to receive medical treatment. A 17-year-oldchild was hit with a rubber-coated metal bullet to the head that caused a deep wound and concussion, while another 17-year-old male was hit with a live bullet to the right thigh.

· On 03 November 2015, dozens of Beir Zeit University students and a number of youngsters gathered at Ofer prison,

southwest of Ramallah, to organize a demonstration against the Israeli authority's policy and the settlers' attacks. Theprotesters headed to the prison's gate, set fire to rubber tires and threw stones and empty bottles at the soldiers. Due towhich, Israeli forces closed the gate, deployed a number of soldiers in the area and fired live ammunition, rubber-coatedmetal bullets and sound bombs at the protesters in response. As a result, 3 civilians, including a child, were wounded.Moreover, many civilians including, Haifa Hamouda Qdais (61), suffered tear gas inhalation. Haifa was then taken to thePalestine Medical Complex in Ramallah to receiver medical treatment.

Gaza Strip

· At approximately 13:00 on Friday, 30 October 2015, dozens of youngsters headed to the border areas between the GazaStrip and Israel, east of al-Faraheen area in 'Abasan al-Kabeira; and east of 'Abasan village, east of Khan Younis, southof the Gaza Strip. A number of protesters approached the aforementioned border area and set fire to rubber tires nearly150-meters away from the fence. Moreover, they threw stones at the soldiers stationed behind the border fence, due towhich, Israeli forces sporadically fired tear gas canisters against the protesters until the evening. As a result, 14 civilianswere wounded. Among the injured persons was paramedic Tamer Mahmoud Hussain Shaheen (38), who sustainedshrapnel wounds to the eye and right arm after a live bullet had penetrated the ambulance carrying him nearly 300-meters away from the border fence. Additionally, Ibrahim Ahmed Mohammed Abu Rida (24), photojournalist at AylaNews, was hit with a bullet to the chest while he was covering the incidents. The aforementioned injured persons weretaken to the European Hospital to receive medical treatment, where their health conditions were described as moderate.Moreover, dozens of civilians suffered tear gas inhalation and they were treated on the spot, while others were taken tothe European and Algerian Hospitals to receive medical treatment.

· At approximately 14:00 on Friday, Israeli forces stationed in Beit Hanoun "Eriz" Crossing, northwest of Beit Hanoun, north of

the Gaza Strip, fired rubber-coated metal bullets and tear gas canisters at the protesters present on the road between thePalestinian and Israeli sides of the crossing. The protesters threw stones at the soldiers in protest at the Israeli forces'attacks against Palestinian civilians in Jerusalem and the West Bank. The clashes that continued until 18:00 led toinjuring 6 civilians, 5 of whom were hit with live bullets while the 6th one was hit with a rubber-coated metal bullet.

· Around the same time, dozens of young men and youngsters headed to the border area between the Gaza Strip and Israel,

east of al-Burij Refugee Camp, in the centre of the Gaza Strip. The protesters threw stones at the soldiers stationedbehind the fence, due to which, Israeli soldiers fired live ammunition and tear gas canisters at the protesters. As a result,10 civilians, including a child, were wounded with live bullets. They were then taken to al-Shifa Hospital, where theirhealth conditions were described as serious. Moreover, 7 others, including 4 PRCS paramedics suffered tear gasinhalation.

· Around the same time, dozens of youngsters headed to the border area, east of al-Shuja'ia, near (Nahel Oz), east of theGaza Strip, to organize a demonstration supporting Jerusalem and denouncing Israeli forces' attacks in the West Bank.The protesters threw stones at the soldiers stationed behind the sand barriers. Due to which, Israeli soldiers fired tear gascanisters against the protesters. As a result, 17 civilians were wounded, 7 of whom were hit with live bullets, while 10others were hit with rubber-coated metal bullets.

· At approximately 16:30, dozens of young men and children headed to the border area, east of al-Burij refugee camp, andthrew stones at the soldiers stationed behind the border fence. Due to which, Israeli soldiers fired live bullets and tear gascanisters at the protesters. As a result, 3 civilians were wounded, one of whom suffered tear gas inhalation. The injuredpersons were then taken to al-Aqsa Hospital in Dier al-Balah, where their health conditions were described as moderate.

· At approximately 15:30 on Saturday, 31 October 2015, dozens of youngsters headed to the border area between the Gaza

Strip and Israel, east of al-Burij refugee camp, in the centre of the Gaza Strip. The protesters threw stones at the soldiersstationed behind the sand barriers. Due to which, Israeli soldiers fired live ammunition and tear gas canisters at theprotesters. As a result, 3 civilians were wounded with live bullets. They were then taken to al-Aqsa Hospital in Deir al-Balah to receive medical treatment.

· At approximately 15:30 on Saturday, 31 October 2015, dozens of youngsters headed to the border area between the Gaza

Strip and Israel, east of al-Burij refugee camp, in the centre of the Gaza Strip. The protesters threw stones at the soldiersstationed behind the sand barriers. Due to which, Israeli soldiers fired live ammunition and tear gas canisters at theprotesters. As a result, one of protesters was hit with a live bullet to the right leg.

· At approximately 16:00 on Tuesday, 03 November 2015, dozens of youngsters headed to the border area between the Gaza

Strip and Israel, east of al-Burij refugee camp, in the centre of the Gaza Strip. The protesters threw stones at the soldiersstationed behind the sand barriers. Due to which, Israeli soldiers fired live ammunition and tear gas canisters at theprotesters. As a result, one of protesters was hit with a live bullet to the left leg.

Demonstrations against the annexation wall and settlement activities

· Following the Friday prayer on 30 October 2015, dozens of Palestinian civilians and international and Israeli human rights

defenders organized a peaceful demonstration in Bil’in village, west of Ramallah, in protest against the annexation walland settlement activities The protestors tried to sneak through the fence. Israeli soldiers stationed behind the wall, firedlive bullets, rubber-coated steel bullets, tear gas canisters and sound bombs and chased them into the olive fields inresponse. As a result, many civilians suffered tear gas inhalation and others sustained bruises as Israeli soldiers beatthem up.

· Around the same time, dozens of Palestinian civilians and Israeli and international human rights defenders organized apeaceful demonstration in al-Nabi Saleh village, southwest of Ramallah, in protest against the annexation wall andsettlement activities. The demonstrators headed to the lands that the settlers are trying to seize near “Halmish”settlement. Israeli forces had closed all the entrances to the village since the morning to prevent them from participatingin the demonstration. When they arrived at the aforementioned land, the demonstrators were met by live bullets, tear gascanisters, rubber-coated steel bullets and sound bombs and were chased into the village. Moreover, Israeli forcestargeted the residential houses by tear gas canisters; one of those houses belongs to Khaled 'Ata al-Tamimi. As a result,many civilians suffered tear gas inhalation and others sustained bruises as Israeli soldiers beat them up.

· Around the same time, dozens of Palestinian youngsters gathered at the western entrance to Selwad village, northeast of

Ramallah, on Selwad-Yabroud road near road (60) in protest at the Israeli policies. The protesters set fire to tires andthrew stones and Molotov cocktails at the soldiers. Israeli forces stationed at the area fired live ammunition, rubber-coated metal bullets and tear gas canisters at the protesters. They also chased them inside the village. As a result, manycivilians suffered tear gas inhalation and others sustained bruises as Israeli soldiers beat them up.

· At approximately 13:00, a group of Palestinian youngsters gathered near the eastern entrance to Na'lin village, west of

Ramallah, to organize a demonstration against the annexation wall and Israeli forces' policies. The protesters made theirway in the streets and then headed to the aforementioned entrance closed with cement blocks since two weeks. Due to

which, Israeli soldiers fired live ammunition, rubber-coated metal bullets, tear gas canisters and sound bombs at theprotesters, and chased them inside the village. As a result, many civilians suffered tear gas inhalation and other civilianssustained bruises as Israeli soldiers beat them up.

· Around the same time, Palestinian civilians and Israeli and international human rights defenders organized a protest in thecentre of Kufor Qaddoum village, northeast of Qalqilya, heading to the eastern entrance of the village in protest againstclosing that entrance since the beginning of al-Aqsa Intifada with an iron gate. When they arrived at the entrance of thevillage, the demonstrators were met by live bullets, tear gas canisters, rubber-coated steel bullets and sound bombs. As aresult, many civilians suffered tear gas inhalation.

Note: PCHR keeps the names of the injured persons in the aforementioned demonstrations. Rubber-coated metal bullets are lethally if they hit the head of victim from a close range. 3. Continued closure of the oPt Israel continued to impose a tight closure on the oPt, imposing severe restrictions on the movement of Palestinian civilians inthe Gaza Strip and the West Bank, including occupied East Jerusalem.

Gaza Strip Israeli forces continuously tighten the closure of the Gaza Strip and close all commercial crossings, making the Karm AbuSalem crossing the sole commercial crossing of the Gaza Strip, although it is not suitable for commercial purposes in terms ofits operational capacity and distance from markets.

Israeli forces have continued to apply the policy, which is aimed to tighten the closure on all commercial crossings, byimposing total control over the flow of imports and exports. Israeli forces have continued to impose a total ban on the delivery of raw materials to the Gaza Strip, except for very limiteditems and quantities. The limited quantities of raw materials allowed into Gaza do not meet the minimal needs of the civilianpopulation of the Gaza Strip. Israeli forces also continued to impose an almost total ban on the Gaza Strip exports, including agricultural and industrialproducts, except for light-weighted products such as flowers, strawberries, and spices. However, they lately allowed theexportation of some vegetables such as cucumber and tomatoes, furniture and fish.

Israel has continued to close the Beit Hanoun (Erez) crossing for the majority of Palestinian citizens from the Gaza Strip. Israelonly allows the movement of a limited number of groups, with many hours of waiting in the majority of cases. Israel hascontinued to adopt a policy aimed at reducing the number of Palestinian patients allowed to move via the Beit Hanouncrossing to receive medical treatment in hospitals in Israel or in the West Bank and East Jerusalem. Israel also continuedapplying the policy of making certain civilian traveling via the crossing interviewed by the Israeli intelligence service to bequestioned, blackmailed or arrested.

West Bank Israel has imposed a tightened closure on the West Bank. During the reporting period, Israeli forces imposedadditional restrictions on the movement of Palestinian civilians: · Hebron: Israeli forces established 20 checkpoints all over the city. On Thursday, 29 October 2015, Israeli forces established

3 checkpoints at the entrance of Bani Na'im village, east of Hebron; al-Fawar Refugee Camp, south of Hebron; and at thesouthern entrance of Halhoul village, north of Hebron. On Friday, 30 October 2015, Israeli forces established 3 checkpoints at the entrance of Jalajel village, east of Hebron; al-Moureq village, southwest of Dura, southwest of Hebron; and Samou'a village, south of Hebron.

On Sunday, 01 November 2015, Israeli forces established 4 checkpoints at the entrance of Sa'ir village, east of Hebron;the entrance of Samou' village, south of Hebron; northern entrance of Hebron; and Halhoul village, north of Hebron. On Monday, 02 November 2015, Israeli forces established 4 checkpoints at the entrances of Sa'ier and Beit 'Aynounvillages, east of Hebron; Ethna village, west of Hebron; and Beit 'Awaa village, southwest of Dura, southwest of Hebron.Moreover, Israeli soldiers prevent young men from 16 to 25 years old from leaving the two villages without appearing acard showing their workplaces. On Tuesday, 03 November 2015, Israeli forces closed the Hebron's entrances with iron gates and prevented civilians fromcrossing. The closed entrances were known as: the entrance of Beit 'Ayoun village; Sa'ier village; al-Fahas; Bani Na'imand Biet Kahel village. Moreover, Israeli forces established checkpoints to search civilians while crossing preventedyoung men from 16 to 27 years old from leaving Sa'ir village until proving the place they want to go. Additionally, theIsraeli forces also closed the road between Dura village and Bypass Road (60) leading to al-Fawar and al-'Aroub RefugeeCamps, south and north of Hebron. On the aforementioned day, Israeli forces established 6 checkpoints at the northernand southern entrances of Halhoul village; Beit 'Awaa village, south of Dura, southwest of Hebron; Sa'ir village; Taramavillage, east of Dura, southwest of Hebron.

· Ramallah and al-Bireh: Israeli forces established 10 checkpoints all over the city. At approximately 17:00 on Thursday, 29

October 2015, Israeli forces stationed at 'Atarah checkpoint at the northern entrance of Bir Zeit, north of Ramallah. On Friday, 30 October 2015, Israeli forces established 6 checkpoints at the eastern entrance of al-Nabi Saleh village,northeast of Ramallah; 'Ain Sinaa, north of Ramallah; under the bridge of Kherbitha al-Mesbah village; Beit Ur al-Foqavillage; the road between Beit Loqia and Beit Siraa villages, southwest of Ramallah; and near "Ofer" settlement'sintersection, north of Ramallah.On Monday, 02 November 2015, Israeli forces established 4 checkpoints at the entrance of Ni'lin village, west ofRamallah; under the bridge of Yabroud village, northeast of Ramallah; Deir Abu Mesh'al village, northwest of Ramallah;and at 'Atarah checkpoint at the northern entrance of Bir Zeit, north of the city.

On Tuesday morning, 03 November 2015, Israeli forces closed the eastern entrance of 'Ain Yabroud village, northeast ofRamallah, with an iron gate. During the aforementioned day, Israeli forces established 2 checkpoints at the entrance ofBeit 'Ur al-Foqa and under the bridge of Kherbet al-Mosbah village, southwest of Ramallah.

· Jenin: At approximately 17:30 on Monday, 02 November 2015, Israeli forces established a checkpoint on the road between

Jenin and Kafur Dan village, west of Jenin.

· Salfit: Israeli forces established (8) checkpoints all over the city. On 29 October 2015, Israeli forces established 2checkpoints at the entrance of Deir al-Balout village and Kufor al-Deek village, west of Salfit.

At approximately 08:10 on Saturday, 31 October 2015, Israeli forces established a checkpoint at the entrance of Deir al-Balout village, west of Salfit. Also at approximately 18:40 Israeli forces established another checkpoint, but no arrestswere reported. On Sunday 01 November 2015, Israeli forces established 4 checkpoints between Kafel Hares and Hares villages, north ofSalfit; between Kafel Hares and Deirasitia villages, northwest of Salfit; at the western entrance of Deirasitia village; and atthe western entrance of Kafel Hares village, north of Salfit.

Arrests · On Thursday afternoon, 28 October 2015, Israeli forces stationed at "Dolev" settlement's intersection established on the

Palestinian lands confiscated from Deir Abazi' village, northwest of Ramallah, arrested Rami 'Aziz Isteah (16) and AshrafOmar Mohammed 'Ataia (16) from Kufor Ne'mah village. Israeli forces took the arrested civilians to Ofer Prison,southwest of the city.

· At approximately 12:30 on Tuesday, 03 November 2015, Israeli forces stationed at Za'tara checkpoint, south of Nablus,

arrested Yehia Salem Nimer Abu Mo'amar (31) from Ertah neighbourhood, south of Tulkram, and Kamel As'aad KamelHemran (28) from al-Hashemiah village, southwest of Jenin, when they were on their way back from Jericho. Theaforementioned civilians are affiliated with Hamas Movement. At approximately 22:30, the aforementioned persons werereleased. It should be mentioned that both of them spent 5 months in the PA prisons. The last detention was in theGeneral Intelligence Central Prison in Jericho. The aforementioned arrested persons were then taken to an unknowndestination.

· At approximately 10:30, Israeli forces stationed at al-Jalmah military crossing, northeast of Jenin, arrested Mohammed JalalMohammed al-Mohor (22) from Jenin Refugee Camp, when he was in the vicinity of the checkpoint. According to theIsraeli media, Israeli forces claimed that they suspected Mohammed when he was in to the south of the checkpoint. Dueto which, Israeli soldiers searched him and found that he had a knife, so he was arrested.

· At approximately 19:00 on Tuesday, Israeli forces stationed at Beit Foureek checkpoint, east of Nablus, arrested As'ad Saber'Odah (21) from 'Orif village, south of the city; and a student from al-Najah University and took them to an unknowndestination. An eyewitness stated that Israeli forces stationed at the checkpoint stopped a car belonging to As'ad 'Odahand checked his ID card. They then asked him to step out from his car and put him near the checkpoint for an hour beforetaking him by a military jeep.

· On Wednesday, 04 November 2015, Israeli forces stationed at al-Karamah crossing, east of Jericho, arrested 3 civilians

while they were on their way back from Jordan heading to al-Nabi Saleh village, northwest of Ramallah. Theaforementioned civilians were identified as Baha' Mohammed al-Tamimi (21); 'Oday Abed al-Raziq al-Tamimi (22); andWesam Iyad al-Tamimi (19). All of them were then taken to Ofer prison, southwest of the city.

· Maltreatment at military checkpoints

· Israeli soldiers stationed at a military checkpoint at the western entrance of Hazma village, east of Jerusalem, insulted Fadi

Qadri Omar Abu Baker (28) from al-Balou' neighbourhood in al-Bireh city. According to PCHR's investigations, atapproximately 16:00 on Saturday, 31 October 2015, Abu Baker was on his way back from Jericho heading to Ramallah.While he was crossing the checkpoint established at the entrance of Hazma checkpoint, Israeli soldiers searched his carand detained him for half an hour. Moreover, a masked Israeli soldier sprayed a pepper spray at his eyes, while anothersoldier beat him by his riffle's butt at his chest. As a result, he fell on the ground. Additionally, 3 other soldiers startedkicking him throughout his body. The aforementioned masked soldier hit Fadi with a sharp tool to his face. As a result,Fadi fainted for few minutes. He was then released and returned home using his car. He was then taken to the PalestineMedical Complex in Ramallah by his family. Doctors conducted medical examinations and radiographic to him and foundout that he sustained bruises to the chest and head and a minor wound to the face.

· At approximately 18:00 on Tuesday, 03 November 2015, Israeli forces established a checkpoint on 'Aber al-Samira road

between Za'tara checkpoint and Jericho, adjacent "Magdollym" settlement, southeast of Nablus. The aforementionedcheckpoint formed by 3 military jeeps and a female border guard. The soldiers stopped a car with 3 passengers and adriver, and checked their IDs. One of the soldiers then opened the car's left door and pulled 'Esam Ahmed Mousa Deiria(21) from his left shoulder in order to get him out while he was sitting in the back seat. The soldier directly asked 'Esam,"where is the knife?", but 'Esam denied having one. The soldier asked him again "Do you want to be a martyr?" andasked him to take out everything he had with him and put him on the car hood. Moreover, the soldier ordered 'Esam topull up his shirt and take off his shoes. He then pushed 'Esam to the car and with all his strength hit him many times. Thesearching of 'Esam's body continued for half an hour, while the soldiers were shouting at him and questioning him aboutthe knife. Furthermore, the other two passengers and the driver were insulted and asked about the same questions. Halfan hour later, the soldiers handed them their IDs and then released them.

4. Efforts to create Jewish majority Israeli forces escalated their attacks on Palestinian civilians and their property. They have also continued their raids onal-Aqsa Mosque and denied the Palestinians access to it:

Shooting incidents · At approximately 15:00 on Friday, 30 October 2015, a light rail security officer on Bar Lev Street near Shaikh Jarrah

neighbourhood, north of East Jerusalem's Old City, opened fire at Ahmed Hamada Yusef Qnaibi (23), from Kufor Aqebneighbourhood, north of the city. As a result, he sustained several bullet wounds from a close range, due to which he wastransported to Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital in West Jerusalem to receive the necessary medical treatment, but hesuccumbed to his injuries few hours later.In a statement issued by the Israeli police, Luba Samri, Israeli police spokesperson, claimed that a Jerusalemite youngman around (23) years old, from Kufor Aqeb neighbourhood had stabbed two Jewish persons near a light rail in "GivatHat'hmoshet" settlement. The two Jewish persons' injuries ranged between minor and moderate. The light rail securityofficer immediately opened fire at the aforementioned person; therefore the officer "neutralized him". The woundedperson was transported to a hospital to receive medical treatment, but he was pronounced dead later.

Collective punishment against families of Palestinians accused of carrying out attacks against Israeli forces andsettlers · At approximately 04:00 on Thursday, 29 October 2015, Israeli forces raided a house belonging to the family of Tha'er Abu

Ghazala in Kufir Aqeb neighbourhood, north of East Jerusalem. The family said to PCHR's fieldworker that Israeli forceshad raided their house and damaged the main door in the dawn, but no one was in there. They photographed the house,took its measures and examined the walls according to the family neighbours. It should be noted that Abu Ghazala waskilled by Israeli forces in Tel Aviv on 08 October 2015, under the pretext of stabbing a female soldier with a screw. Thecorpse of Abu Ghazala has been kept in the Israeli custody. Moreover, they arrested his father and then placed him underadministrative detention.

House demolitions and demolition notices · On Friday, 30 October 2015, Israeli forces accompanied by Jerusalem Municipality officers raided 3 houses belonging to Abu

Jamal family in al-Mukaber Mountain village, southeast of occupied Jerusalem. Abu Jamal family said that the Israelimunicipality officers delivered administrative demolition notices for a house belonging to Mohammed Abu Jamal, Alaa'sbrother, under the pretext of non-licensing. It should be noted that the 110-square-meter house was built in 2001, in which6 family members, including the father, mother and four children, have been living. Moreover, the municipality officersdelivered another administrative demolition notice for a house belonging to the family of Alaa Abu Jamal; the same houseagainst which a confiscation and demolition decision was issued by the Israeli Home Front Command last week. Thishouse was built in 1995. It should be noted that the Israeli forces raided lately a house belonging to Safa' Abu Jamal,Alaa's sister, and made holes in the house walls, took its measures, examined the walls and made holes in them.However, Israeli forces claimed that the house belongs to Alaa and that the first house that was examined to bedemolished was not his. Thus, the Israeli authorities have threatened to demolish 3 houses attached to each otherbelonging to Alaa Abu Jamal's family. Israeli forces killed Alaa Abu Jamal on 13 October 2015 after stabbing and runningover Israeli settlers in West Jerusalem.

· In the same context, Israeli forces raided a house belonging to the family of Akram Abu Jamal, looking for the family of thewounded prisoner, Belal Abu Ghanem. Abu Ghanem's family was renting Akram's house, but left lately. The municipalityofficers photographed Akram's house license and then withdrew.

· At approximately 07:00 on Monday, 12 November 2015, under the protection of special forces, the Israeli municipality

bulldozers demolished a house belonging to the family of Sami Edris in Khellet al-Abed area in al-Mukaber Mountainvillage, southeast of occupied Jerusalem, without warning, under the pretext of non-licensing. The aforementioned civiliansaid to PCHR's fieldworker that Israeli special forces accompanied by Israeli municipality officers and bulldozers raided ahouse in Khellet al-Abed in al-Mukaber Mountain to demolish it without warning. He added that Israeli forces allowed himto take out his personal papers, money and light belongings only. They also obliged him to leave the house in minutesand kept his family few meters away from him. The municipality officers then randomly emptied the house content. Afterwhich, a bulldozer demolished the 80-square-meter house that used to shelter a 7-member family, including 4 children. Itshould be noted that Edris started building his house 3 months ago and moved in with his family for 15 days only. The

building costs were around NIS 100,000. Edris pointed that the Israeli municipality had fixed an administrative demolitionnotice twice in the past 2 months; therefore, he attempted to obtain a construction license, but could not because of theIsraeli restrictions in this regard.

· Few hours later, Israeli forces accompanied by municipality officers and a bulldozer moved into Beit Hanina neighbourhood,north of East Jerusalem, and demolished a 3-storey building belonging to lawyer Khaldoun Nejem and Mousa andMahmoud al-Dosoky.The affected families said that the building, which was residential, was added to an old building a year ago and they hadmoved in last April. After the Israeli municipality had issued a demolition decision, the families could adjourn the decisionuntil they reached a settlement with the municipality, one day before the demolition, to turn the demolition decision into anindictment and construction fines. However, the families were surprised that on the abovementioned day Israeli forcesmoved into the area and demolished the building. Lawyer Khaldoun Nejem said that the 3-storey building (each floor is a120-square-meter apartment) was resided by 3 families as follows: Khaldoun's family, including his wife and 2 children;Mousa al-Dosoky, his wife and daughter; and Khaldoun's brother namely Mahmoud who was preparing his apartment tomove in soon. The families declared that the building was demolished with its contents inside.

· On Tuesday, 03 November 2015, Israeli municipality officers fixed administrative demolition notices on the walls of al-Qa'qa'Mosque and a commercial facility in Hosh Abu Tayeh in silwan village, south of East Jerusalem's Old City, under thepretext of non-licensing.Hani Abu Tayeh, who is responsible for the mosque's affairs, said that Israeli municipality officers fixed an administrativedemolition notice on the wall of al-Qa'qa' Mosque in Hosh Abu Tayeh in Ein al-Louza neighborhood that is located inSilwan village, under the pretext of non-licensing. Moreover, they fixed a similar one on a carwash in Beer Ayoubneighborhood, in the city. They photographed some commercial facilities, residential buildings, entrances to certainneighbourhoods and streets. He added that the 120-square-meter mosque was built 3 years ago. it should be noted thatthe decision was issued on 20 August 2015 and gave a 90-day period for challenging the decision, otherwise, it would beapplied. The demolition decision is based on "Law 212", which is utilized by the Israeli municipality and GeneralProsecution to implement demolition decisions. The same law allows the General Prosecution to issue demolitiondecisions against non-licensed buildings even if the person/s were unknown.

Incursions and arrests · At approximately 02:00 on Thursday, 29 October 2015, Israeli forces with sniffer dogs moved into Qa' al-Hara area in al-Tour

neighbourhood, east of East Jerusalem's Old City. They raided and searched houses from which they arrested 5Palestinian civilians. The arrested civilians, who were taken to an unknown destination, were identified as Khalil Abu al-Hawa (60), Omer Khalil Abu al-Hawa (19), Ahmed Seder (23), Hashem Ahmed Abu al-Hawa (21) and Mahdi Ahmed Abual-Hawa (23).

· At approximately 03:00, Israeli forces moved into al-Eisawiya village, northeast of East Jerusalem. They raided andsearched a number of houses from which they arrested 8 Palestinian civilians. The arrested civilians, who were taken toan unknown destination, were identified as Feras al-Eisawe (40), Mohammed Abdullah Mahmoud (22), Mohammed AliMahmoud (19), Mohammed Yusef Attiya (19), Feras Ameer Mahmoud (19), Tamer Abu al-Homos (13), MohammedMahmoud Mahmoud (16) and Mahmoud Gharib (19).

· At approximately 11:00 on Saturday, 31 October 2015, Israeli forces arrested Jawad Seyam, Director of Helwa Valley

Information Centre, while being present at Ras al-Amoud checkpoint, east of East Jerusalem's Old City. Seyam wasobserving and photographing the Palestinians' suffering at the aforementioned checkpoint that was erected 2 weeks ago.He was arrested after an Israeli officer claimed that he hindered the police work and incited school students to chantslogans at the checkpoint.Lawyer Mohammed Mahmoud said that the Israeli police at Saladin police station decided to release Seyam on bailamounting to NIS 1,000 and a third party bail amounting to NIS 5,000. They also prevented him from approaching Ras al-Amoud – Silwan checkpoint for 15 days. Seyam denied the charges brought against him and highlighted that Silwanschools were on a strike on the aforementioned day in protest at the cement cubes and iron barriers established in thevillage and at its entrances. Therefore, there were no students at the checkpoint when Seyam was arrested. Seyamexplained that the police deleted the photos he took at the checkpoint before releasing him.

· At approximately 01:00 on Sunday, 01 November 2015, Israeli forces moved into Sour Baher village, south of EastJerusalem. They raided and searched a number of houses from which they arrested 8 Palestinian civilians, including 3children. The arrested civilians, who were taken to an unknown destination, were identified as:

Mohammed Jadallah (16);

Yassin al-Atrash (17);

Mohsen Atoun (17);

Abdullah Abu Kaff (21);

Mohammed Bkairat (18);

Ahmed Jadallah (18);

Na'el al-Rabay'a (21); and

Maher Atoun (18).

· At approximately 12:00, Israeli municipality and taxing authority officers moved into al-Eisawiya village, northeast of

Jerusalem, under the protection of Israeli Special Forces. They raided commercial stores and outraged their owners. Anumber of Palestinian young men threw stones in response, due to which, Israeli forces opened fire at them. As a result,Mazen Ahmed Abu al-Homos (42) sustained a bullet wound to the face when he was at home. He was taken to Hadassa– Ein Kerem Hospital in West Jerusalem for medical treatment.

· At approximately 14:00, Israeli forces arrested Yusef Hassan Abu Khdair (7) and Omer Mohammed Abu Khdair (8) whenthey were present in front of their family houses in Shu'fat neighbourhood, north of East Jerusalem. Omer's mother saidto PCHR's fieldworker that Israeli forces arrested her son and his cousin while playing around their family houses in thesaid village. She added that the Israeli police arrested the 2 children under the pretext of possessing a slingshot whilethey were present on the main street. They Israeli police officers took the boys to the police patrol that was present on thesame street. The boys were then transported to Nabi Yaqoub police station in Beit Hanina.

· At approximately 18:00, Israeli forces moved into Sulaiman al-Faresi in al-Tour neighbourhood, east of Jerusalem's Old City.

They randomly fired sound bombs although there were no confrontations. Moreover, they arrested Yusef Omer Abu al-Hawa (26) and Shadi Mohammed Abdullah (19).

· At approximately 19:00, Israeli forces arrested Khaled Mahmoud Khashan (22) while passing through Shu'fat military

checkpoint, north of East Jerusalem. They harshly beat him and then took him to an unknown destination. · At approximately 21:00, Israeli forces moved into al-Eisawiya village, northeast of Jerusalem. They raided and searched a

number of houses from which they arrested Mahmoud Shafiq Obaid Allah (23) and Mahmoud Awad Allah Derbas (21). · At approximately 01:00 on Monday, 02 November 2015, Israeli forces raided a house belonging to the family of Mahdi

Mesbah Abu Nejma in al-Thawri neighbourhood, south of East Jerusalem's Old City. They arrested his son Mahdi (12)and took him to an unknown destination.

· At approximately 03:00, Israeli forces moved into Shu'fat refugee camp, north of East Jerusalem's Old City. They raided and

searched a number of houses from which they arrested 3 Palestinian civilians, including a child. The arrested persons,who were harshly beaten, were identified as Laith Ahmed al-Husaini (17), Majd Mohammed Alqam (21) and MohammedSuleiman Alqam (19).

· One Monday morning, Israeli forces arrested Reem Mohammed Jamil Qunbur (13), who was present in a healthcare centre

in al-Mukaber Mountain, southeast of East Jerusalem. They took her to "Oz" police station. · At approximately 11:00 on Tuesday, 03 November 2015, Israeli Special Forces raided Baladna medical centre in al-Eisawiya

village, northeast of East Jerusalem, to look for medical records of Palestinians wounded during confrontations thaterupted in the village. They searched some patients' records and arrested Ameer Khaldoun Mostafa (19) once he went

out of the medical centre amidst firing tear gas canisters and rubber-coated metal bullets. Mahmoud al-Shami, themedical director of the aforementioned centre, said that Israeli Special Forces raided Baladna medical centre looking formedical records relevant to Palestinians wounded during the confrontations witnessed in the village. He said that hestressed to the Israeli forces that they offer medical services to the wounded persons without taking their personal data.He also added that he received a summons from Israeli forces that raided the centre to be questioned, pointing that theyhad a search warrant from the Israeli Court.

· At approximately 14:00, Israeli forces arrested Mohammed Abdullah Yaqoub Shwaiki (7) and Ameer Mohammed Abasi (9)

while being present in front of their family houses in al-Thawri neighbourhood, south of East Jerusalem's Old City. · At approximately 01:00 on Wednesday, 04 November 2015, Israeli forces moved into al-Eisawiya village, northeast of East

Jerusalem. They raided and searched a number of houses from which they arrested 5 Palestinian civilians. They arrestedcivilians, who were taken to an unkown destination, were identified as Hamed Akram Ebeid (18), Mohammed Mahmoud(19), Bashar Mohammed Dari (19), Samer Ebeid (18) and Mohammed Hadi Elayan (19).

· At approximately 02:00, Israeli forces moved into the Old City in East Jerusalem. They raided and searched a number of

houses from which they arrested 6 Palestinian civilians, including 3 children. The arrested civilians, who were taken to anunknown destination, were identified as Omer Ramzi Za'aneen (17), Mohammed Abdul Ra'ouf Jaber (17), Mohammed Alial-Razem (17), Rami Mohammed Za'aneen (19), Khaled al-Mughrabi (53) and Aboud Ahmed al-Haddad (19).

Settler attacks against Palestinian civilians and their property · On Thursday, 29 October 2015, a number of settlers prevented the family of Jawad Abu Nab from entering their house, which

is among the houses that were lately seized in Batn al-Hawa neighbourhood in Silwan village, south of East Jerusalem'sOld City.Rania Abu Nab said to PCHR's fieldworker: "Some UNRWA officers came to our house to make an interview with us, but settlers denied them access to the house.Therefore, I went out to the street to make the interview. I then went to bring my daughter from school. While coming backhome via the main gate, I was prevented from passing. I stayed there waiting for my girls to return from their schools. Mygirls and I tried to pass through the gate, but the settlers prevented us for no reason. The settlers ironically said, 'You canmake interviews and meetings…' After the head settler refused to allow us to go home along with my children, Israeli policepatrol arrived and stood for the settlers. We stayed out there in the streets until night." It should be noted that Jawad Abu Nab family consists of 6 members, including the father mother and 4 children; the eldestof whom is 14 and the youngest is 4. Moreover, the mother is pregnant.

9. Settlement activities and attacks by settlers against Palestinian civilians and property

Israel has continued its settlement activities in the oPt, a direct violation of international humanitarian law, and Israeli settlershave continued to attack Palestinian civilians and property.

Israeli forces' attacks · On Thursday morning, 29 October 2015, Israeli forces issued a military order to confiscate 5 dunums of lands in Yasouf

village, east of Salfit, belonging to the heirs of Ghaleb Abdullah Deeb. Hafez Ebaya, head of Yasouf's village councilmsaid to PCHR's fieldworker that the guards of Jawwal telecommunication tower brought to the village council a paper theyfound near the tower. The paper was an Israeli military order to confiscate 5 dunums from the village lands.

· On 03 November 2015, the Israeli authorities declared via the Jerusalem Post that more lands to be confiscated in Qanavalley in Deir Estya village, northwest of Salfit, belonging to the families of Abu Hajla, Awad, Abu Nasser and al-Khateeb.These lands are located in the vicinity of "Yakir" settlement. This decision stated that those lands (are abandoned,

governmental and already sold. In addition, challenging the decision had been rejected previously and the implementationwould start in 15 days).

· At approximately 11:00 on Tuesday, 03 November 2015, Israeli forces moved into al-Shaikh Bashir area, southeast of Jaloud

village, southeast of Nablus. They handed residents of the area, in which 10 families reside, notices to vacate theirhouses in 15 days to be demolished because they about 300 meters away from "Ahya" settlement that was established in1997. It should be noted that the targeted houses are located in area (C) according to the Oslo accords. Some of thesehouses were built in 1975 and their owners have construction licenses from the Israeli forces. The families affected by thisdecision consist of 38 persons, including 20 children.The families that were notified were as follows:

1. The family of Mohammed Kamal Farhan Abad. His 75-square-meter house was built in 1975 and shelters 5 familymembers, including 3 children;

2. Hussein Kamal Farhan Abad. His 55-square-meter house is attached to his brother's Mohammed. It was built in1975 and Hussein used to live in it on his own;

3. The family of Farah Farhan Hussein Abad. His 68-square-meter house was built in 1975 and shelter 3 familymembers;

4. The family of Mahmoud Farhan Hussein Abad. His 74-square-meter house was built in 1980 and shelters 6 familymembers, including 4 children;

5. The families of the 2 brothers Fawzi and Mahmoud Sami Farhan Abad. Their 2-storey house; 49 square metereach; was built in 1998. The first floor is resided by Fawzi and his 4-member family, including 2 children. Thesecond floor is resided by Mahmoud and his 6-member family, including 4 children.

6. The family of Salam Sami Farhan Abad. His 64-square meter house was built in 2007 and shelters 4 familymembers, including 2 children;

7. The family of Nasim Farah Farhan Abad. His 2-storey house was built in 2002. It is resided by 6 family members,including 4 children;

8. The family of Mohammed Kamel Farhan Abad. His 64-square-mter house was built in 2011. It is resided by 3 familymembers, including a child; and

9. The family of Farhan Kamal Farhan Abad. His 64-square-meter house is under-construction since 2014.

Settler attacks on Palestinian civilians and their property · At approximately 18:30 on Sunday, 01 November 2015, Alaa' Hassan Ibrahim al-Khateeb (25), from Jayous village,

northeast of Qalqilya, was run over by a settler on the main road between Qalqila and Nablus, near Azoun intersection,east of Qalqilya. As a result, he sustained fractures to the arm and a cut in the head. The aforementioned person wasabout to fix a problem in his car and was taking out the spare parts from the car's trunk. However, he received a suddenhit from behind, due to which he fainted, yet he could see the yellow "Israeli" registration plate of the car that hit him. Theemergency staff at Darweesh Nazal Hospital, to which he was transported, stated, "At approximately 18:30 on Sunday, 01November 2015, we received Alaa Hassan Ibrahim al-Khateeb. He sustained 2 fractures to the arm and a cut in the head.He received the necessary medical treatment and stayed at the hospital."

Recommendations to the International Community PCHR emphasizes the international community’s position that the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, including East Jerusalem,are still under Israeli occupation, in spite of Israeli military redeployment outside the Gaza Strip in 2005. PCHR furtherconfirms that Israeli forces continued to impose collective punishment measures on the Gaza Strip, which have escalatedsince the 2006 Palestinian parliamentary elections, in which Hamas won the majority of seats of the Palestinian LegislativeCouncil. PCHR stresses that there is international recognition of Israel’s obligation to respect international human rightsinstruments and the international humanitarian law, especially the Hague Regulations concerning the Laws and Customs ofWar on Land and the Geneva Conventions. Israel is bound to apply the international human rights law and the law of warsometime reciprocally and other times in parallel in a way that achieves the best protection for civilians and remedy for victims. In light of continued arbitrary measures, land confiscation and settlement activities in the West Bank, and the latest 51-dayoffensive against civilians in the Gaza Strip, PCHR calls upon the international community, especially the United Nations, theHigh Contracting Parties to the Geneva Convention and the European Union – in the context of their natural obligation torespect and enforce the international law – to cooperate and act according to the following recommendations: 1. PCHR calls upon the international community and the United Nations to use all available means to allow the Palestinian

people to enjoy their right to self-determination, through the establishment of the Palestinian State, which was recognizedby the UN General Assembly with a vast majority, using all international legal mechanisms, including sanctions to end theoccupation of the State of Palestine;

2. PCHR calls upon the United Nations to provide international protection to Palestinians in the oPt, and to ensure the non-recurrence of aggression against the oPt, especially the Gaza Strip;

3. PCHR calls upon the High Contracting Parties to the Geneva Conventions to compel Israel, as a High Contracting Party tothe Conventions, to apply the Conventions in the oPt;

4. PCHR calls upon the Parties to international human rights instruments, especially the Covenant on Civil and Political Rightsand the Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights, to pressurize Israel to comply with their provisions in the oPt,and to compel it to incorporate the human rights situation in the oPt in its reports submitted to the concerned committees;

5. PCHR calls upon the High Contracting Parties to the Geneva Conventions to fulfil their obligation to ensure the applicationof the Conventions, including extending the scope of their jurisdiction in order to prosecute suspected war criminals,regardless of the nationality of the perpetrator and the place of a crime, to pave the way for prosecuting suspected Israeliwar criminals and end the longstanding impunity they have enjoyed;

6. PCHR calls on States that apply the principle of universal jurisdiction not to surrender to Israeli pressure to limit universaljurisdiction to perpetuate the impunity enjoyed by suspected Israeli war criminals;

7. PCHR calls upon the international community to act in order to stop all Israeli settlement expansion activities in the oPtthrough imposing sanctions on Israeli settlements and criminalizing trading with them;

8. PCHR calls upon the UN General Assembly to transfer the Goldstone Report to the UN Security Council in order to refer itto the International Criminal Court in accordance with Article 13(b) of the Rome Statute;

9. PCHR calls upon the United Nations to confirm that holding war criminals in the Palestinian-Israeli conflict is a preconditionto achieve stability and peace in the regions, and that peace cannot be built on the expense of human rights;

10. PCHR calls upon the UN General Assembly and Human Rights Council to explicitly declare that the Israeli closure policy inGaza and the annexation wall in the West Bank are illegal, and accordingly refer the two issues to the UN SecurityCouncil to impose sanctions on Israel to compel it to remove them;

11. PCHR calls upon the international community, in light of its failure to the stop the aggression on the Palestinian people, toat least fulfil its obligation to reconstruct the Gaza Strip after the series of hostilities launched by Israel which directly

targeted the civilian infrastructure;12. PCHR calls upon the United Nations and the European Union to express a clear position towards the annexation wall

following the international recognition of the State of Palestine on the 1967 borders, as the annexation wall seizes largeparts of the State of Palestine;

13. PCHR calls upon the European Union to activate Article 2 of the EU-Israel Association Agreement, which provides thatboth sides must respect human rights as a precondition for economic cooperation between the EU states and Israel, andthe EU must not ignore Israeli violations and crimes against Palestinian civilians;
