CGC, Jhanjeri established in 2012, is the newest and most contemporary campus of Chandigarh Group of colleges. The campus comprises of Faculty of Engineering offering B.Tech (Civil/Mechanical/CSE/ECE), M.Tech (CSE/ECE) and Faculty of Management having courses leading to the degree of MBA, BBA, BCA, B.Com (Professional), B.Sc (Agriculture) and B.Sc (Fashion Technology). All the courses offered are duly approved by the Government of Punjab while Engineering and MBA courses are approved by All Indian Council for Technical Education, New Delhi as well. Faculty of Engineering and Faculty of Management are affiliated to IKGPTU, Jalandhar.

With a view to develop overall personality of students, co-curricular activities are given equal importance. The teaching pedagogy at CGC is based on cognitive research covered in "How People Learn". Every year, “B-Starters”, a three day long

business competition is organized to select ten

best innovation research orientated ideas. Top 5

ideas receive a support of 1 lakh per year for

incubation, while next 5 ideas get a support of

Rs. 50,000 per year.

Applications for admission to various courses have to be submitted online at the CGC website: www.cgc.edu.in or www.cgc.ac.in for which an application fee of Rs 1000/- has to be submitted.

Steps to fill online registration form:

1. Open www.cgc.edu.in or www.cgc.ac.in and click on Online Admission button.

2. Create login ID by filling necessary details. E-mail ID must be submitted for easy accessibility.

3. Ensure your eligibility and fill the admission form.

4. Result marks must be mentioned clearly and precisely. In case result is awaited mention it clearly in the allotted column. DO not forget to write Roll No. and Name of Examining Board.

5. Upload scanned copies of necessary documents along with passport size photograph for scrutiny by the admission cell.

6. Terms and conditions for admission to CGC are clearly mentioned. Kindly mark your acceptance for the same while filling the form.

7. Fee may be transferred to college account No. given in the College website through debit card, credit card, net banking or payment partners.

8. Generate the admission letter after duly filling all the details and completion of the procedure including submission of fee.

9. The students must report in the Admission Block of the respective College within ten days after online admission and submit all original documents along with the Admission Letter to confirm their admission.

10. The date of commencement of classes will be posted on the college website and students must report in the college campus on or before the said date to join the classes from very first day.

3. Admission will be confirmed post eligibility check as per the marks obtained and hence the fee deposit

Note : No Fee is charged from SC/ST students of Punjab whose family income from all sources is less than Rs. 2.5 Lakh per annum. These students have to apply for Post Matric Scholarship Scheme of the Govt. through Registrar Office of the College.5% seats in all the engineering & MBA courses are offered under tuition fee waiver scheme for which admissions are done by PTU.
