Seven Characteristics of living things

Movement: Animals move from one place to another indicating life. Similarly Plants extent their stems and roots to depict movement.

Respiration: A process by which living organisms use oxygen to break food molecules and release energy to stay alive is called respiration.

Growth: Increase in size or movement inside the cells throughout their lifetime is a sign of growth in all living organisms.
