SENIORS

SENIORS began their school days with a fresh ambition and a crisp attitude. Their last year presented many obstacles to be confronted. Many were conquered: victors in '76 Powder Puff game, winners of Homecoming Spirit Stick, Homecoming float winners. Many conquered them: unable to reach their magazine sales goal, defeated in Homecoming skit, losing the spirit chain contest Yet still, they are seniors with a certain freedom lying before them-the freedom to dream today and the opportunity to live CLASS OFFICERS: President-Foy Lee Jackson, Vice-President-Mary the dream tomorrow. Ann Wilson, Secretary-Dons Russaw; Treasurer-Debbie Woodham.

SOPHOMORES

SOPHOMORES made their 1976-1977 year exciting through participation in school activities. They brought four spirited cheerleaders, more than the other classes. They made it hard for all other classes to become successful in things such as, homecoming floats, spirit chain, and other events. They made people realize that they were around. They weren't just any other class; they were the sophomores.

FRESHMEN

FRESHMEN faced with a new environment adapted to life once more at EHS Their addition of two hundred thirtyfive students enabled them to boost the Tiger Spirit and take first place in the spirit chain contest. Their eagerness to participate in school activities helped make them a vital part of EHS. Their role as freshmen being completed, they leave a part hard to be filled by an upcoming class.

ADMINISTRATION seeks to provide the best educational opportunities for all boys and girls of our school age in our city and district. Eufaula High School was the second school in the state to be accepted as a member of the Southern Association of Secondary Schools, the standards for membership in this association being higher 1n many respects than membership in the State Association. The citizens of Eufaula and faculty are to be commended for their efforts to provide good schools to meet the challenges of today. In the years ahead we shall continue to work to upgrade the quality of education we have sought to establish here in the past

Under the cover of the stars, under the cover of the sun fermented into eternity there lies a precious moment of time we call life. A gift of Creation. We are given minds to discover, talent to create, curiosity to gain knowledge, in

sight to build, emotions to communicate our feelings, and movement through our physical body.

Open your gift!
