The Morley College London Summer Shorts programme is a great way to get inspired and try something new, especially if you’re short on time. Our Summer Shorts come in all different sizes and looks, meaning we have courses on offer to meet everyone’s taste. The majority of our courses are either one-day workshops or only run for two or three days, and are all specifically designed to give you a chance to experience something you may have always wanted to try, but could never find the time or place to do so.

It’s my pleasure to welcome you to Morley’s Summer Shorts programme for 2019. This is the perfect time to get a feel for what Morley is all about, through our impressive selection of short courses – over 200 to choose from, spanning our schools of Visual and Digital Arts, Music and Performing Arts, and Humanities and Applied Sciences. Since 2015 Morley has run the Zsuzsi Roboz Trust Art Scholarship programme, offering scholarships to emerging artists who want to refine their artistic skills and take their career to the next level. Run in partnership with the Alfred Teddy Smith and Zsuzsi Roboz Art Trust, the scholarship provides one or two artists with funding for a year’s part-time study at Morley, with a programme that’s tailored to their needs. Scholars have full access to Morley’s purpose-built art studios and facilities, and receive personal tuition and mentoring from professional artists. Best of all, scholars finish their studies with a public exhibition of their work in Morley’s gallery facilities!
