important for you to decide your career option and this should solely be made by you,

understanding your interests and keeping in view the suggestions and experience of your

respected parents and elders.

“Without hard work, nothing grows but weeds” You have to put in the organized effort,

blended with passion and enthusiasm. Since competition is already high, you need to put in at

least 2-3 hours of study on a school day while 8 hours of study on a holiday.

Vidyamandir has not only designed, delivered,

All the Founders of VMC are Ex-IITians, who are

pioneers in the JEE Test prep space and have mentored

& helped thousands of students realise their dream of

getting into the IITs and other Top Engineering colleges

in India. Till date, all the founders teach and are

actively involved in the day to day activities of

Academics and Operations.

The fact that more than 54,000 students appeared for

the VMC National Admission cum Scholarship tests for

limited seats on offer in the last Academic session

2018-2019 is ample testimony to VMC’s popularity and

credence within the JEE aspirant’s community.

Vidyamandir Classes started over as a small institute in

1986, with a very limited intake and with a vision to

ensure all its students make it to the IITs. Credited with

many “FIRSTS” in the Test prep space, VMC increased

its capacity in the Founders course very optimistically,

from 11 in the first batch till around 250 as on date,

ensuring that it maintains quality and personal

attention. Newer courses and centres were added

timely, but only after it was properly ensured that VMC

lives up to its standards and commitment of personal

attention and proper learning environment.

In 1990, VMC was the first IIT-JEE coaching institute to introduce an admission and talent screening test for prospective students.

In 1992, VMC took the lead in recognizing the need for organized and comprehensive study material, which was perfectly synchronized with the classroom sessions and was the first institute to introduce completely cohesive and scientifically designed course material for its students.

In 1995, VMC introduced a unique course called The Final Step (FS) which was a revision course for IIT-JEE preparation. This Course was intended to provide a comprehensive revision, just before the final exam. Subsequently this course has been merged with our two year Regular Classroom Course.

VMC was the first IIT-JEE coaching institute to introduce computer based feedback and analysis to students based on their performance in tests conducted by VMC. In 2007, VMC introduced online assessment for its students. The VMC online testing platform is to this day, one of the most advanced, unique and effective assessment platform available in the country.

In 2008, VMC introduced a unique Correspondence Course which is for the first time in India, combined High Quality Printed Study Material, Online Tests, Automated Analysis & Benchmarking of student’s performance and online doubt clearing functionalities.

VMC introduces the School Integrated Program in 2011.

In 1992, VMC recognised the need for organized and

comprehensive study material, which was perfectly

synchronized with the classroom sessions. Thus VMC

became first institute to introduce completely cohesive and

scientifically designed course material for its students.

VMC provides a comprehensive set of study material to all its

students, which is scientifically prepared to ensure

comprehension of even the most difficult topics. It includes

well designed layouts, innovative explanations, simple

examples and other research-proven techniques of study

material presentation. Each key concept is explained using

carefully chosen questions with stepwise solution, which

explains the core application of the concept.

The study material at VMC is revised every year and covers

every aspect of each topic, making it completely self-

sufficient. So much is our confidence in our study material,

that we consciously ask our students to rely solely on VMC

material, and not consult any other book or guide. We

regularly upgrade our course material with appropriate

modifications to meet the changing pattern and syllabus of

the IITJEE every year.

The Study material primarily consists of Modules and

Workbooks. Modules are designed to cover the Theory

portion of JEE Advanced and JEE Main, as per the latest

pattern and syllabus of each year. Workbooks are provided

to assist preparation for Boards/School & other Engineering

entrance exams.

Modules form the primary part of the VMC Study material

and each module is divided into chapters. Each chapter is

then further divided into two sections, as explained here:-

DETAILED THEORY PORTION

This part explains the core concepts in a very simple and easy

manner with the help of illustrations and helps in building a

strong foundation for the students.

SOLVED EXAMPLES & IN-CHAPTER EXERCISES

This part illustrates the applicability of the theoretical

concepts. Accurate and thorough explanations are provided

to ensure students internalize the core concepts. Each step

in the solved examples is carefully and systematically

explained, to show students how to attempt a particular

problem.

SCHOOL/BOARD NOTES

Exhaustive notes on Economics, English and Computer

Science are provided to students to help them in their

schools in Class XI and XII, besides notes on Chemistry,

Physics and Maths.

OTHER ENGG. ENTRANCE EXAMS MATERIAL

A comprehensive set of Previous year exams and Practice

papers is provided to students for various exams like BITSAT,

STUDY MATERIAL

VMC was the first to introduce completely cohesive and

scientifically designed course material (Modules) for its students.

Recently, it has developed a new concept called “Workbooks”. In

this newly introduced “Workbooks”, the conceptualisation and

designing has been done in such a way that the student practices

more and more to master the art of perfection as we at VMC

firmly believe that “Practice Brings Perfection”.

The very nature of JEE Advanced, JEE Main or any other

Engineering entrance exam is such that it demands perfect

performance on the D-day. No matter how well you

prepare, you need to give your best shot on the Exam day.

Leaving nothing to chance, VMC takes its students through

multiple exams, in exact Mock conditions to ensure the

students don’t get psyched out by anything on the D-day.

Objective exams have one thing peculiar, “Approach to

attempt”. There are questions meant to be left and

questions meant to be attempted. To this, there is also a

way to attempt, unique to every individual. To help VMCians,

various Test patterns on different formats and levels are given to

the students to make sure they develop their own Test taking

approach and pull the maximum scores.

Multiple categories of tests viz Class tests, Online tests, Chapter

tests, HRTs, JEE-Main, JEE-Advanced, BITSAT, VITEEE & others are

provided to the students during their course. The Testing and

Analytics part is handled by Vidyamandir’s TEST ENGINE, which

was started in 2007 and is one of the most powerful &

comprehensive Testing platforms in the country.

At Vidyamandir, teaching is not merely a profession. It is a

dedication to help students succeed in JEE Advanced, JEE

Main and other engineering exams, and also to create a

TEST SERIES

In VMC, we follow a simple philosophy, where students are

expected to study the basic concepts on their own before

coming to the class. The teacher then takes the concepts in

detail and also gives homework to practice problems from

the workbook. The exercises of these workbooks have been

prepared chapter wise. Each chapter consists of various

levels of Daily Tutorial Sheets (DTS) based on degree of

difficulty. Numerous new questions have also been added in

each chapter of the workbook for more enhanced practice.

VMC’s e-learning system is a state of the art platform,

which empowers learning over the Web and Android

Apps. It allows delivery of content through Ebooks,

Videos, Exercises and Tests, and allows students to learn

“On the Go”(works without internet). The e-learning

system helps students in knowing the Topics where they

are weak and need to concentrate their learning. It also

The One Year Course offered by VMC is an

extensive course for students who have completed

their Class XII and have decided to appear for the

IITJEE 2021. Given the fact that the student is left

with only one year to prepare for IITJEE, this

one year course is compact yet

rigorous, and helps students take

the exam with full confidence.

The course covers topics relevant from Class XI &

XII syllabus that are important from the IITJEE

perspective. First the fundamentals and then

application of fundamentals is taught so that the

student can face the more difficult topics with

ease. The course is designed to reinforce the core

concepts and give sufficient problem solving

practice to its students.

INNOVATIVE ONE-YEAR COURSEWhere the CBSE curriculum is moderate in its difficulty level, IIT-JEE has set high standards of conceptual questions. This course bridges the gap between CBSE and IIT-JEE and is specifically designed for students who wish to opt for engineering as a career. The course begins with building basics, then gradually scaling to higher difficulty and then adequately practicing questions through exercises and tests, which cover both objective and subjective patterns. This is done to put to rest, the uncertainty of change in exam format. The methodology used trains our students to face IIT-JEE comfortably and succeed.

COMPREHENSIVE SYLLABUS COVERAGE & PRACTICEThe course ensures coverage and revision of the entire IITJEE syllabus which includes strengthening required for concepts and fundamentals. In addition, rigorous practice is provided to master the IITJEE test taking strategy.

CLASS TESTSClass Tests & Chapter Tests are held regularly in class to assess the understanding of a topic by the students. Many of these are in the form of Surprise Quizzes, so that students are motivated to be regular in their preparation. The One Year Course offered by VMC is an

extensive course for students who are currently in

Class XII and would be appearing for the IITJEE

2021. Given the fact that the student is left with

only one year to prepare for IITJEE, this

one year course is compact yet

rigorous, and helps students take

the exam with full confidence.

The Course first builds on the Class XII Curriculum,

followed by a quick revision module of the

important concepts of Class XI. The course then

builds on IITJEE specific modules and extensive

testing, evaluation and analysis.

The course is designed to reinforce the core

concepts and give sufficient problem solving

practice to its students.

COURSE STRUCTURE


JEE 2021

April 2020 to Mar 2021DURATION

Phase 1 The First Stage focuses on the

important and difficult topics of Class XII which

are often the source of confusion and

subsequent mistakes. The emphasis is to

create visualization for these concepts using

multimedia, models, real life examples etc, so

that these critical concepts can be applied to

real exam problems more effectively. Periodic

testing through Class Tests and Unit Tests help

the students in evaluating and benchmarking

their understanding.

Phase 2 The Second Stage begins around

October and the emphasis shifts to covering

The two-year IIT JEE course will be divided into marking

The preparation for JEE Advanced, Main, NEET

and other Engineering / Medical entrance

exams starts from this phase only.

In the second year, the student will move to our

3-Year Course, which will further strengthen the

fundamental concepts and would also

introduce the primary concepts of Engineering /

Medical entrance preparation. This well spaced

course structure helps the student to approach

the exams in a stress free manner and improves

the probability of scoring better. Preparation for

the mainstream Engineering / Medical

entrance would begin at this stage only.

In the third and fourth year, the student will

move to our flagship 2 year course –

comprising of Phase 1 (Class XI), Phase 2 (Class

XII) and the Final Step (The Revision course)

Students will be tested at regular intervals

through 3 Hour Review Tests, Test Series, Online

Chapter Tests etc to judge the understanding of

the concepts. Promotion to successive years is

strictly based on the performance in these Tests.

This course is for students who would be going to

Class IX and beginning their early journey towards

JEE Advanced, Main, NEET and other Engineering /

Medical entrance exams. In this course, we will first

work on building a strong foundation, and then

work on the analytical and reasoning skills.

Since the preparation begins early, the course

completes early giving the student more time for

mastering Advanced concepts and problems, which

are a must for success in JEE Advanced, NEET and

other entrance exams. In the course, the Time

advantage accorded also opens opportunities for

additional learning and exam avenues like

Olympiads, NTSE, KVPY and other prestigious

examinations. Specialised preparation is

undertaken for these exams and proudly, almost all

students outperform their peers in schools and

these specialised exams.

This course is a natural extension of our 3 Year

Classroom Course, which within its first year of

inception in 2011, has become immensely popular

among the Engineering / Medical aspirants. Like

our 3-Year Course, this course also aims at building

sound foundation for fundamental concepts in

Mathematics & Science.

In short, the course offers a win-win proposition to

the student with the student getting help for school

preparation, competitive exams and also

developing the right skill set to tackle IIT-JEE / NEET

and other Engineering / Medical exams.

ABOUT NTSE

The National Talent Search Examination (NTSE) is a National Level scholarship program in India for class X students. It

is one of the oldest and most prestigious scholarship exam. It was started in 1963 to identify and honour talented

students by awarding them monthly scholarships. The scholarship is given to students for pursuing courses in

sciences and social sciences up to doctoral level and in professional courses like medicine and engineering up to

second-degree level subject to the fulfillment of the conditions.

NTSE IS CONDUCTED IN TWO STAGES;

Stage I - Selection is done by States/UTs through the written examination and students who qualify Stage - I are

eligible to appear for Stage - II

Stage II - This Examination is conducted by NCERT. The examination consist of Mental Ability Test (MAT) and

Scholastic Ability Test (SAT) - same as Stage - I.

Additional Advantage to 3 year , 4 year course students -

(National Talent Search Examination) NTSE Preparation

* If there is any change in pattern for Stage-II examination then the same will be communicated later on through

NCERT website www.ncert.nic.in. Candidates are advised to keep track of updates on NCERT website.

There will be no negative marking in Stage-II examination.

SCHOLARSHIPS

About one thousand scholarships are awarded for different stages of education as follows:

(a) Scholarship of Rs.1250/- per month for Class-XI to XII.

(b) Scholarship of Rs.2000/- per month for Undergraduates and Post-graduates.

(c) Amount of Scholarship for Ph.D. is fixed in accordance with the UGC norms.

ELIGIBILITY

All students of Class X studying in recognized schools are eligible to appear for the Stage-I examination, conducted by

the States/UTs, in which the schools are located. There will be no domicile restriction.

Students registered under Open Distance Learning (ODL) will also be eligible for scholarship, provided the student is

below the age of 18 years (as on 1st July of the particular year), the student is not employed and s/he is appearing in

class X examination for the first time.

Vidyamandir Classes since its inception in 1986 believes in

imparting the best in class quality education to its students

without any compromise on the needs for a great Rank in IIT

JEE & other Engineering Entrance Exams. VMC was one of

the first IITJEE institute to introduce an Admission test for

selecting students for its IITJEE programs.

The National Admission tests are conducted several times

during the year, typically in the months of October,

December/January, April and June for various courses being

run in Vidyamandir Classes. Basis the Grade or Class of the

student, the syllabus varies but the primary focus of the test

remains to judge the analytical ability of the student.

Following this till date, Vidyamandir Classes primarily selects

students for its various programs on the basis of their

performance in the National Admission test. Basis the

performance in the test, deserving students are also offered

concession in fee.

Registration for the National Admission test can

be done either by going to www.vidyamandir.com

and paying online or by visiting any VMC centre.

Please note you can visit any VMC centre for

registration for any NAT being conducted by

VMC. Once you register for the National

Admission Test, you will receive your Admit card

through Email & details would be sent through

SMS as well.
