Event Title : Cleanliness of Department.

Event Objectives:

The Swacch Bharat Abhiyan or Clean India drive was launched on the occasion of 2nd October, the birth

date of Mahatma Gandhi. “Clean India” would be the best tribute to Gandhiji. Our students had conducted this

activity to keep their premises clean and ensure good civic sense. Students cleaned the entire passage and

laboratory, the objective behind the activity was to spread awareness among other students for keeping their

surroundings clean. The thought of the activity was bloomed by our respected HOD Dr P.R. Bhaladhare sir. He

encouraged students to participate in such a good cause. The activity was headed by Prof. S. A.Khaire. Student's

were enthusiastic while doing this activity

Event Objectives:

A One Day Program of Parents Meeting” was successfully conducted on Monday,07th October 2019 at

Faculty cubical, Department of Information Technology, SITRC.

Parents Meeting conducted for Final year class of students. There were around 03 Parents attended the

meeting. Meeting started with the address of Head of Department Dr. P. R. Bhaladhare, Sir has given all the

informational bout departmental goals and objectives towards students. How Department Contributed for students

with taking different activities for them, sir discussed on points where department focused on the development of

student sine very field.

Event Objectives:

The Intra College state level technical symposium "Abhyudaya" organized by Department of Information

Technology under SAYITp Student's Association took place in the college premises on 04th October 2019 in the

presence and guidance of Head of Department (Information Technology), Dr. Pawan R. Bhaladhare.

The objective was to provide platform for the students to showcase their talent with a competitive spirit.

The event was executed successfully by staff coordinator Prof.Sneha Khaire. The event was inaugurated by

Dr. P.G. Burade sir (DeanAcademics) SITRC Nashik, Prof J.G. Nayak Head (Civil Department) along with

Dr. P.R.Bhaladhare Head (IT Department), staff and students the event was successful enough to attract more than

a 100 students. The events like Ignited Minds (Poster Presentation), Think-IT (Quiz), Code Kraft (Competitive

coding), Better Together (BFF Test) were planned, executed and have managed to gather maximum response. The

winners were encouraged with a cash prizes for all the events.

Department feels proud to organize such a successful event and would like to convey thanks to

principal and management for their timely advice and cooperation for organizing successful event.

Department of Mechanical Engineering Report of Industrial Visit to Zayka Food proccessing, Nashik

Event Title: Industrial Visit of SE Mechanical Students to Zayka Food proccessing industry, Nashik

Event Objectives and Outcomes:

Objectives:

1. To get familiar practical exposer of industrial boiler

2. To understand construction and working Principle of industrial boiler.

3. To understand application of boiler in process industry.

Outcomes:

1.Students learnt about the construction and working of boiler, major components anduses.

2 Students also learnt about various other systems of industrial boiler.

Brief Report: As per syllabus of SE (Mech)(2015 pattern),in the subject Thermodynamics,

students are supposed to visit the industrial boiler. The visit was organised at Zayka Food

proccessing industry, Nashik on 11th Oct 2019. Zayka Food proccessing industry is run

under Mahila Grmodyog Sansthan. Mahila Grmodyog Sansthan is recognized by Khadi and

Village Industries Commission, Govt. of India and working with an object to implement

Employment Oriented Projects in Village to provide employment to the local villagers. To

start with its object the Institution has started a Fruit and Vegetable Processing Unit in

Village Odha, Nashik in 1995 and provided employment to the local people. They have

been recognized as a distinguished processor and supplier of Tomato Products, Canned

Products, Pickles, Fruit Jams, Chinese Sauces and Papads. They are also known for

Strawberry Crush, Orange Crush, Mango Crush, Pineapple Crush and Syrups and Squashes

in many Flavours, Sweet Corn, Baby Corn, Baked Beans along with Tomato Puree in Cans.

The products are processed under safe, hygienic and clean environment.

Students of S.E. Mechanical alongwith staff members visited the plant. A brief

introduction about their plant activities was given. Plant operators on duty showned various

sections of plant for all students batches. Student visited te boiler section where IBR Type

Water Tube Boiler of capacity 1.5 ton are installed. Working Pressure of the boiler was 10

Kg/cm2 whereas steam temperature was 150oc to 160oc. Wood briquettes are used as a

boiler fuel.
