(n) to take overall responsibrlity for oversrght in thelmplementatioll of the Kenya Capital Markets Master Plan andfaorlitatrng lts ahgnment wrth the establishment of-(r) Kenya as the heart of Caprtal Markets financrng and

investment in Africa; and,

(ir) Narrobr Internatlonal Frnancial Centre,

(r/ to direct the Caprtal Markets Authonty Board to appornt ataskforce, working groups and relevant sub,commrttees tofacrlrtate the execuhon of the Master Plan;

(c) to drrect consultatrons wrth relevant govemment mlnlstnes anddepartments, regulatory agencies, capttal markets experts,professronal bodies, academrcs, and other stakeholders for thepurposes of executing the Master Plan;

(t// to provrde policy drrectlon on the execurron of the CapitalMarkets Master Plan,

The steering committee shall reguiate tts own procedure;

The Secretanat of the steering commtttbe shall be housed at theoffices of the Caprtal Markets Authonty, P.O. Box 78800-00200,Nairobi.

The term of office of the steenng commrttee shall be five (5) yearsrenewable wrth effect from 1st January, 2015.
