OFFICE ORDER

This is with reference to the Advertisement for admission in Ph.D. programme for Academic Year 2021-22 published vide Advt. No. 10/2021 dated 23.11.2021 in the Institute.

The Departments/Schools scrutinized Ph.D. applications and the result of the same was notified on the Institute

Website vide letter no. Acad/21/1563 dated December 29, 2021. As per schedule, the Ph.D. entrance test for

eligible and provisionally eligible candidates was conducted by the respective Department/School. The DRC/SRC

of the Departments/Schools conducted presentation and interview of qualified candidates as per notified dates.

The candidates as per Annexure (a) have been recommended provisionally for admission in Ph.D. programme in

the respective Department/School.

The provisional admission letter to the recommended candidates is hereby issued for joining the Ph.D. programme in the respective Department/School by January 15, 2022. The candidates shortlisted as waitlisted will be offered admission in case if recommended candidates fail to join by January 15, 2022. The candidates are required to submit their joining report -Annexure (c)-, on the E-mail IDs of the respective Department/School as given in the table below, along with Self attested photocopies of all documents and Relieving letter from parent/sponsoring Institute (for part time only) after payment of applicable semester fee as per Annexure (b)

Renewable Energy & Efficiency

The full time research scholar will be paid scholarship from the date of joining of Ph.D. programme in the Institute. The candidates offered admission in Ph.D. program in Academic Year 2021-22 vide this Office Order may also opt

course work in Even Semester of Academic Year 2021-22. The Ph.D. course work classes have already commenced in online mode along with 2nd and 4 th semester of PG Courses from January 10,2022. Such candidates are required to submit course work registration format after consultation with their respective supervisors/co-supervisors in their department. The Hostel accommodation will be provided only after the opening of the Institute in physical mode as per guidelines of MoE, Govt. of India.

The HoDs/School Coordinators are requested to send joining report along with documents as above to the Office of
