siM Mono Module est un connecteur rectangulaire Modulaire développé pour des interconnexions compactes, performantes et faciles de mise en oeuvre.

LasérieSIMmonomoduleestprincipalementétudiéepourlesap-plicationsaéronautiquescommerciales,CSSouIFE.

LesconnecteursSIMmonomodulesontrevêtusd’untraitementdesurfacenickeléassurantunecontinuitéélectriqueetuneefficacitédeblindageentrelafiche,l’embase,lesaccessoiresetlesblindagesdescâblesutilisés.

LagammeSIMMonomoduleproposeunsystèmededétrompageàl’accouplement,deAàG,etidentifiéparuncodecouleur(plaquettesdecouleurpourl’embaseetrampedeverrouillageencouleur).

Deplus,lesconnecteursSIMmonomodulesontmodulairesetbéné-ficientd’unesimplicitéaccruequantàl’installation,l’accouplement,lamaintenanceet/oularéparation.

SIMmonomoduleseriesiselectrolessnickelplatedprovidingelectri-calcontinuityandshieldingeffectivenessbetweenplug,receptacle,backshellandshieldingbraidofthecable.

Thecouplingpolarization, fromA toG, isensuredby themeanofpolarizationkeysandacolorcodingrange(coloredcodingplatesforreceptaclesandcoloredlockingtabsforplugs).

ThemodulardesignoftheSIMmonomoduleseriesmakesitsimpletoterminate,assemble,install,maintainandrepair,whilereducingtheinventoryofcomponentsandpartstotheminimum.

SIMmonomoduleisanextensionofthealreadyexisting,durable,andwellprovenAECMA/EN4165modular,rectangularseries,andwasdesignedaccordingtotheARINC809committeerecommendations.

Ilssontmunisd’unsystèmededétrompage(voirpage38)compat-ibleavectouslesdétrompagesduConnecteurSIMMonoModule.

Ilssemontentparl’arrièredesembasesoudesfiches(voirprocédurepage 76), peuvent être insérés manuellement mais doivent êtreextraitsàl’aidedel’outilapproprié(voirpage66).

Themodulesincludeapolarizationsystem(seeonpage38)accord-ingwiththeconnectorpolarizations.

Modulesareinsertedbytherearofreceptaclesandplugs(seeinstruc-tionsonpage76),canbemanuallyinsertedintheshellcavities,buthavetobeextractedwithaspecifictool(seeonpage66).
