MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT
t is an honour and a privilege to be at the helm of affairs at
ISwami Devi Dyal Group of Professional Institutions, the Group
that stands for excellence and continuously sets the highest
standards, the Group that is an alma mater which all alumni look
back to with fond memories, the Group that has given this
country many distinguished personalities and leaders in diverse
fields. Catering to more than 8000 students, Swami Devi Dyal
Group of Professional Institutions is considered amongst the best
and most sought after in this region. We feel proud to provide
quality education by equipping our students with skills,
confidence and a positive approach with an all round
development. The Group is relentlessly striving to perceive and
maintain academic excellence, at the same time encourages the
students to participate in various co-curricular and extra-
curricular activities. An amiable environment at the campus
nurtures creativity, passion, resilience and leadership qualities
among students for development of a versatile personality.
Swami Devi Dyal Group started way back in the year 2000 by
establishing an Engineering Institute. Over the last 17 years, it has
now grown into a set of 14 Hi-Tech Institutions and this year we
have added another jewel to our crown in the form of “Swami
Devi Dyal College of Commerce and Science”.
The call of the time is to progress and prosper geometrically and
dynamically on a multi-dimensional canvass rather than merely
to move ahead. At Swami Devi Dyal Group, we want to give our
students International Exposure. We intend to have Students
Exchange Programmes with Foreign Universities for which many
Foreign Universities are keen to have Tie Ups with our Group.
These collaborations will make it easy for our students to go
abroad to renowned Universities for further studies. Progress of
an Institute depends mainly on performance of the students in
academics, sports and cultural activities along with maintaining
high values and ethics. I am proud to say that our students are
doing excellent on all of these fronts with élan and finesse. Our
governing body comprises of Educationists, Industrialists,
Businessmen and achievers in their chosen fields. The
management is highly supportive for the overall development of
the students and faculty. The management takes keen interest
and stands behind any such endeavour. Our Teachers are
committed and dedicated for the development of the institutions
by imparting their knowledge and play the role of facilitators as
well as role model to our students. The members of the non
teaching staff are highly dedicated with total commitment
towards achievement of our mission and goals. Taking into
account our academic achievements, infrastructure, co-
curricular, extra-curricular activities and other all-round
development, we have been honoured with numerous accolades
at the State as well as at the national level in the form of various
honours and awards.
The motto of the Group, ‘I will and I can’, is truly inspiring to our
students. It encourages them to realize their dreams and achieve
their goals which otherwise seems impossible. At Swami Devi
Dyal Group, the students and staff truly believe that nothing is
impossible and that is the secret of our success.
I extend a hearty welcome to all the young aspirants to our
institutes who are keen to be a part of the happy family and assure
them of our best support in fulfilling their cherished dreams by
exploiting their full potential intellectually as well as socially.
REAL EDUCATION ENHANCES THE DIGNITY OF A HUMAN BEING AND INCREASES HIS OR HER SELF ESTEEM. IF ONLY THE REAL SENSE OF EDUCATION COULD BE REALIZED BY EACH INDIVIDUAL AND CARRIED FORWARD IN EVERY FIELD OF HUMAN ACTIVITY, THE WORLD WILL BE SO MUCH A BETTER PLACE TO LIVE IN. - DR. A P J ABDUL KALAM
THE HIGHEST EDUCATION IS THAT WHICH DOES NOT MERELY GIVE US KNOWLEDGE BUT MAKES OUR LIVES IN HARMONY WITH ALL EXISTENCE. - RABINDRANATH TAGORE
wami Devi Dyal Group of Colleges, during the process of
Sevolution for the last seventeen years, have blossomed into
full-fledged temples of learning by offering the most
sought after programs, with state-of-the-art infrastructure and
experienced & well-qualified academicians as faculty. We take
pride that our colleges have exemplified excellence in higher
education with an emphasis on creating corporate-ready
graduates by traversing many boundaries to develop our own
expertise in fast tracking higher education. In doing so, we are not
in competition with anyone else but ourselves for promoting
excellence and innovation in imparting quality education.
At Swami Devi Dyal campus, we aim at transforming our students
from being first class students into astute thought leaders ready
to take up the challenges of the Corporate World both in India
and abroad. Having experienced the mismatch between
educational institutes and the requirements of the Corporates,
we leave no stone unturned to enhance the continuous
employability of our students. The students of our various
programs are handpicked through our rigorous and meticulous
selection process. We lay stress on the blend of academic rigor
and practical ability to prepare our students for a successful
corporate career. We embrace learning by doing – this culture
facilitates learning not only from well-qualified and experienced
academicians and eminent captains of industry but peer learning
as well.
We provide our students with a plethora of opportunities to
develop essential skills, aptitudes and attitudes. We empower our
students to choose the right career by providing a competitive
edge. We vow to provide a glorious future to our students and to
achieve this, we shift our gears to domain-focused programs. We
are working on the philosophy – not to walk on the beaten track
but to discover new routes; not to benchmark but to be
benchmarked. The Group takes pride in providing a wide range of
facilities to foster integrated development of the youth. Our
Centre for Personality Development, Centre for Continuous
Employability and Centre for Social Responsibility bear testimony
to our claims.
On behalf of the Group, I deem it a great privilege to invite you to
various programs offered and I am sure that you will be elated
that you took the right decision for shaping your career.

MESSAGE FROM THE VICE PRESIDENT
08 SWAMI DEVI DYAL GROUP OF PROFESSIONAL INSTITUTIONS 09www.sddgpi.com
Er. Moti Lal JindalPresident
THE GENERAL SECRETARYMESSAGE FROM
he present times call for the students to be multifaceted to
Tincrease the prospects of success and growth in life. At
Swami Dyal Group of Colleges, we strive to strike a balance
between academics and co- curricular activities to provide our
students an opportunity to discover their scholastic potential and
other talents to bring out the best in them.
The education at our institutes is aimed at endowing the students
with dexterity to face the challenges of the real world and
equipping them with relevant skills to find solutions to overcome
those hurdles and come out as winner. Further, much stress is laid
upon cultivating the individuality of the learners. We also expect
our students to develop deep sense of humanity, collective
growth and team work so that they are able to become global
citizens in the true sense .
It is said that the object of education is to prepare the young to
educate themselves throughout their lives. We, at Swami Devi
Dyal Group are making sincere efforts in nurturing the future of
our students by preserving this ethos of true learning with belief
that education is not filling a pail but the lighting of a fire. We will
keep on igniting young minds to produce future leaders.
India is undergoing a process of evolution both socially and
economically. Rapid globalization and competitive markets make
it imperative to align professional education, to effectively meet
the dynamics of the corporate challenges. With the growing
awareness about the complexity of modern business, the
demand for professional students, with a high level of domain
knowledge and core competencies is fast increasing. In this mind
extension era, students should be fully equipped to lay the
foundation of a new beginning. Efficient human resources have
always been the strength of the evolving India where ideas and
dreams have consistently contributed to the exploration of the
unexplored.
Swami Devi Dyal Group, a flourishing centre of excellence in
professional education, provides the platform for the realization
of dreams. Here, we believe in efficiency, quality, and creativity.
We invite those aspiring minds who dream it big and want to
leave their marks for the future generations, to come to be a part
of the happy family and explore the new vistas of education.
Mr. Amit JindalGeneral Secretary
AS INDIANS, WE MUST, OF COURSE, LEARN FROM OUR PAST, BUT WE MUST REMAIN FOCUSED ON THE FUTURE. IN MY VIEW, EDUCATION IS THE TRUE ALCHEMY THAT CAN BRING TO INDIA ITS NEXT GOLDEN AGE. -PRANAB MUKHERJEE
THE DIRECTOR GENERAL MESSAGE FROM
THE HIGHEST EDUCATION IS THAT WHICH DOES NOT MERELY GIVE US KNOWLEDGE BUT MAKES OUR LIVES IN HARMONY WITH ALL EXISTENCE. - RABINDRANATH TAGORE
our time is limited, don’t waste it by living someone
Yelse’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma, which is living
the result of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the
noise of other peoples’ opinion drown your inner voice. And
most important, have the courage to follow your heart and
intuition, they somehow already know what you truly want
to become. Everything else is secondary.
Professional education has always played a very important role
worldwide in the intellectual upliftment of the human beings
which has, in turn, impacted the process of evolution of the
societies from the stone age to their present form.
We are all grappling with the urgent issues of raising
achievement and reducing disparity. As educators, we expect to
be successful in improving the outcomes for all students. We
know that we need to get better at evaluating the impact of what
we do-individually and collectively-and smarter at using what the
research can tell us about what works for diverse students in
different contexts.
In this globally challenging scenario, where the society is
conscious of quality, our task of providing education becomes
more demanding. The education is the training by which the
current expressions of will are brought under control to make it
fruitful. With this motto in mind, a non-profitable society under
the name of Swami Devi Dyal Hi-Tech Education Academy was
registered under the Society Act in August, 2000. Since then there
has been exponential growth and many professional institutions
have come up in the areas of Engineering, Computer Science,
Dental Sciences, Management, Pharmacy, Nursing, Law and
Education. No compromise is ever made on the quality in
imparting education. The best possible infrastructure is provided
in terms of architecture of buildings, equipments in the
laboratories & workshops, the latest books & journals in the
libraries, and the best of computer facilities in the computer
centre. Above all, most experienced and dedicated faculty is in
position to train the budding professionals. In order to build the
personalities, many extracurricular activities e.g. sports, cultural
functions, debates and group discussions are arranged in the
campus.
My faith is in younger generation, who can mould the world and
bring in the latest concepts by their hard work. The young
aspirants, who want to be disciplined educationists and quality
professionals, should opt for these institutes and I am sure that
we will stand to their expectations.
Dear students, I welcome you to this campus and assure you that
you will have the most comfortable and fruitful stay in this
glorious campus.
May God Bless You All.

THE DIRECTOR OPERATIONS MESSAGE FROM
he function of education is to teach one to think
Tintensively and to think critically. Intelligence plus
character- that is the goal of true education. Education
is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change
the world. Education is what remains after one has forgotten
what one has learned in school. An investment in knowledge
pays the best interest. Education is the passport to the future,
for tomorrow belongs to those who prepare for it today.
The young aspirants, who wish to grow as thorough professionals
and academicians of repute, are welcome to Swami Devi Dyal
Group of Colleges, who will be exposed to the State of the Art
Technologies in ultra modern environment and best of the
facilities.
Year after year, Sami Devi Dyal Group has fulfilled its objective of
providing quality professional education to the students and it
will continue to do so in ample measure in the years to come. To
achieve this goal, we have hired the best of faculty and created
state of the art infrastructure.
Effective professional development enables educators to
develop the knowledge and skills they need to address students’
learning challenges. To be effective, professional development
requires thoughtful planning followed by careful implementation
with feedback to ensure it responds to educators’ learning needs.
Educators who participate in professional development then
must put their new knowledge and skills to work. Professional
development is not effective unless it causes teachers to improve
their instruction or causes administrators to become better
leaders.
The students are encouraged to do research and participate in
professional conferences. Full financial help is also given to
students on this account. The merit scholarships are awarded to
the top position holders in every institution.
All our institutes are having their own placement cells, which
arrange the campus interviews by top notch companies who are
on our panel to recruit the students. Till date, all the eligible
passed out graduates and postgraduates have been placed in the
most prestigious organizations of India and abroad.
Finally, a warm welcome to all the budding professionals to this
wonderful temple of learning and I am sure that our unstinting
efforts will enable to polish the raw stones in to sparkling
diamonds during your stay with us.
All the best for your future endeavours.
