DEPUTY MAYOR CORY STEVENSON

It’s been a long, wet winter, but we are all anxiously awaiting the arrival of spring weather and being able to get out and enjoy all Cornwall has to offer. We are very excited about the lineup of great programs the Parks and Recreation Department has planned. There is something for everyone! This program lineup features over 40 programs being offered – from sports and leisure to gardening and general activities. We are overwhelmed with the positive response to our new line dancing program that filled up fast. We continue to offer before and after school camps and On My Own preschool program. We will start accepting registrations for summer camp as of April 15, 2019. The Town continues to strive towards investing time and money into our parks and trails, so please get out with your family and friends and enjoy the many fine parks the Town has, or perhaps take a walk on a community trail. Don’t forget to participate in the upcoming Easter Event and Cornwall Classic. Remember to follow us on Facebook and Twitter to get all the updates on our current and upcoming programs. Enjoy the spring! Mayor Minerva McCourt

community and other pets. It is important to remember to immediately clean up after your pet. Take along a

baggie with you to pick up waste with and then dispose of it properly. By taking a few simple steps to clean up

T 3 TRANSIT The Town of Cornwall is happy to report that Transit ridership numbers have been increasing lately compared to 2018. In January of 2018 we only reported 12 riders; whereas in January of 2019 we had 47. Town Council is listening to residents regarding extra runs during the week and/or Saturdays and is working closely with Trius Transit to see if there is something that can be done to appease the needs of our residents.
