• To promote members awareness on the new Code of

Ethics and Rules in Handling Cases.

Committee Mandate:

• Mandate:

– Responsible in all aspects of professional practice in accordance with the Constitution and By-Laws of the Institute, the Professional Practice Manual, the Rules in Handling Cases Lodged Before the Institute, the Engineer’s Code of Ethics and the Electrical Engineering Law. Handles complaint cases and recommend action to the Board of Governors for approval;

– Act as a grievance machinery for the IIEE as well as the National Secretariat

• Reviewed the penalties for IIEE members found violating IIEE By-Laws and Code of Ethics.

• Mandate:

– Responsible in all aspects of professional practice in accordance with the Constitution and By-Laws of the Institute, the Professional Practice Manual, the Rules in Handling Cases Lodged Before the Institute, the Engineer’s Code of Ethics and the Electrical Engineering Law. Handles complaint cases and recommend action to the Board of Governors for approval;

– To review the Guidelines on penalties for IIEE members found violating IIEE By-Laws and Code of Ethics.

• The Committee reviewed and investigate further the pending 2020 PPC cases

➢ Remegio Gonzales vs Baldomero Zamora; ongoing investigation of the case

➢ Christina Sandoval vs Roland Vasquez; ongoing deliberation of the case

➢ Roland Vasquez vs Christina Sandoval; ongoing deliberation of the case

➢ Efren Sarmienta vs Christina Sandoval; ongoing deliberation of the case

• 2021 PPC Cases

➢ Pre-signed and sealed Electrical Permit and Certificate of Final Electrical Inspection Forms;

• Ongoing deliberation of the case

➢ Bryan Lloyd C. Pallega vs ZAMSURECO II and ZAMAEA;

• Ongoing investigation of the case

Professional Practice Committee

PPC Undertakings

• PPC reported to National President regarding the BFP meeting output; PECE’s sole authority to sign and seal

• PPC reviewed the Web Postings Guidelines and added their inputs and comments

• PPC inquired with SOCSARGEN Chapter President, Engr. Loren Manansala regarding the inquiry of Engr. Roy Suanco if the IIEE and OBO-GENSAN has an agreement and/or memorandum that before a PEE can sign and seal an Electrical Permit, he/she must be recognized/accredited by LGU-Gensan/OBO; Engr. Manansala confirmed that there is no such practice in SOCSARGEN Chapter.

• Arranged meetings with PEZA, DILG and DPWH to discuss topics about FDAS and Solar PV Issues

– DPWH – Meeting with Undersecretary Maximo L. Carvajal last May 5, 2021

• Action Plan: Submit position paper

– PEZA: tentative meeting will be on June 3, 2021

– DILG: currently coordinating for meeting schedule

• Sent a follow-up letter to PRBEE regarding NEA circular inquiry of 2020 PPC

• PPC set a meeting with IECEP, topic: Electrical Professionals and Electronics Protection System: Exploring the Role and Opportunities of Electronics in the Power Sector, currently coordinating for meeting schedule

• PPC created Sketch Plan under OBO and its guidelines/policy, for BOG’s approval

• PPC sent a letter to National President regarding their decision not to proceed with the template due to the following reasons: Every analysis is unique and cannot be tabulated to template, License electrical practitioners have different approach in giving results and recommendations
