Positive working attitude Encourage your child to hand in all homework on time.

Encourage your child to take pride in his/her work by doing their best in their daily assignments and remind them to check their work upon completion.

Show perseverance. Do not leave any question blank. Instead, try to break down the question and work out some steps based on the hints given in the question.

Study Smart Time your child when he/she is working on practice papers at home. Paper 1- 50 minutes, Paper 2- 1h 40 minutes. Instill some urgency in completion of work, as well as train them to check their work if your child is prone to completing his/her work too quickly. Encourage your child to seek the math teacher’s help if they come across any questions that they do not understand.
