Hydroponic Greenhouse Technologies India Pvt. Ltd.

HGTIPL is the pioneer and full spectrum Hydroponics Technologies Provider in India.

HGTIPL• Commercial Hydroponics

– One Acre Strawberry Project in Bangalore - Completed– 1000 sq.m for Lettuce and Herbs in Coimbatore - Completed– Two Acres Project in Lusaka, Zambia for growing Strawberry and Bell

Pepper– 1st Acre complete, 2nd nearing completion– One Acre Strawberry Project at Devanahalli, Bangalore – Commencing

July 2012.– Multi Acre Strawberry, Lettuce & Herbs Project in Pipeline for

clients in Kuwait, Bahrain, Nigeria and Bangladesh

• Rooftop Hydroponics– Shortlisted for provision of Rooftop Gardens in upto 2000 Villas for

Diyar Homes Project in Bahrain. – Upto Two Acres Project in Rooftop Hydroponic Gardens for Value and

Budget Housing Corp, Bangalore – Pilot in progress

• Selected by NEC Corp, Japan as Training and Implementation partner for setting up Self Sustainable Hydroponic units across 53 Cities in India between 2013- 2016

Alliance Companies

Innoplex Inc, Japan

• Consulting company in Tokyo, consulting for more than 100 companies and provides comprehensive data to more than 300 companies across the world

• Specializes in advanced agricultural technologies like

– indoor plant factory– vertical farming– multilayer cultivation

Alliance Companies

• Espec Mic Corp, Japan is one of the Espec’s Group companies that sells cutting edge Hydroponic facilities with fluorescent and LED lighting systems.

• Espec Corp. is also involved in Environmental control technology for Agriculture which secures stable food production without any use of agricultural chemical owing to its optimized controller of light, temperature and humidity.

The Technology – What is Hydroponics?

• Hydroponic Technology is a soil-less way of plant cultivation• Hydroponics means “Water Working”• Advantages:

– Better Oxygen supply to the root resulting in better yield compared to Field Agriculture

– Application of nutrients in calculated doses including micro-nutrients resulting in high quality produce

– Option of Multi layer farming in some cases leading to High Productivity

– Better Ergonomics compared to field Agriculture– Year round cultivation due to environmental control– No Weeds or Soil Borne diseases since no soil is used– Very less water consumption compared to Field Agriculture– No Fertilizer/Nutrient Run off– Hydroponic Farming can be made Portable and Modular opening up

new areas where farming can be practiced like Urban Rooftops

The Technology• Field Hydroponic System (FHS) is an NFT based

cultivation system developed by Espec Corp.• No energy usage except environment controller in GH• Environmentally sound zero run off system• Easy to set up• Compatible for growing all plants• Flexibility of changing growing medium based on the

plants• Pumice stone and Coco peat will be used as substrate• Simple nutrient management• Automatic real-time Nutrient leveling• Better oxygen supply to the plant compared to

conventional NFT system

Greenhouse (sun light only) transplants

Crisp head lettuce transplants 16 days after sowing, as grown in a closed system (top) and a greenhouse (bottom).

The container closed system transplants are more compact and vigorous even under a higher planting density (288 cells/tray).
