• As the Process Automation Lead, review and analyze the Procedures, Unit Procedures and Operations

for making changes to the recipes utilized for the Batch Processes and Phase Execution to ensure that the

desired Batch Process produces the exact requirements of the recipe. The Process was managed by a

Moore APACS+ System and Allen Bradley ControlLogix System and was converted to DeltaV. The

DeltaV was recently upgraded from version 10 to the 12.3.1 version. The original recipes configured in

the APACS+ have been used without the benefit of Optimization for control by the improved Batch

to conform to final process operation. Develop PI Reporting application and complete required reporting

send emails to the responsible parties for action required.

• Install and configure the OSIsoft PI Notifications 2012 Application on the PI Server 2012 to

automatically broadcast email alerts of Process Environmental critical issues as they occur to satisfy

systems for maximizing the storage and retrieval of data on mainframes utilizing Local Area

Networking versus terminals.

• INSTRUMENT ENGINEERING - Denver, Colorado Lead Engineer - Developed specifications, data sheets, sizing and manufacturing parameters for

valves, flow meters, safety valves and other instrumentation end devices, P&ID drawings and the

Fisher PROVOX Distributed Control Systems and PLC controllers for the Process Control of major

refineries and petrochemical plants.

• TEXAS CITY REFINING - TEXAS CITY, TEXAS Lead Engineer - Developed communication interface for IBM 370 to the first Fisher-Rosemount

DCS for data collection at Texas City Refining. Engineered instrumentation and control of the

refining processes for the project. Provided start-up support for the instrumentation equipment at the

plant.

CSI Senior Control Systems Engineer- Manager of Houston Division

• PROJECT ENGINEERING - Houston, Texas/Lafayette, Louisiana Developed specifications, proposals and managed projects for the E&P Divisions of major energy

providers such as Mobil Oil, Shell Oil, Exxon, Tenneco, Union Oil, Chevron, and Amoco for land

and offshore installations of SCADA and Custody Transfer Metering Systems, most of which

utilized MODICON 384-584 PLCs with custom designed and configured RTUs. Managed

Department of Energy, Strategic Petroleum Reserve underground storage projects for Taylor MOD

III DCS control instrumentation and provided consulting engineering services to DOE for all other

disciplines including High Voltage Electrical, Piping, Civil construction, HVAC, Buildings and

others involved in the West Hackberry, Louisiana project. Designed a differential pressure

transmitter based Mud Level measuring system to measure the exact Drilling Mud Level in the Mud

tanks. Integrated PLCs and RTUs for the SCADA requirements of the Energy providers identified

above. Designed an electronic flow measuring device for Mud returning from down hole bit

operations for “Blow Out” analysis providing for higher reliability than air type units used to that

point.
