Required fabric: Blouse- 2 yards 50-60” Dress- 2 yards 50-60”

Seam allowance used for this pattern is 5/8”unless otherwise stated

Size Cutting Guide

How to use this pattern

-Print at home/or print shop to print on 8.5x11” paper with Adobe Reader which is a free download.-Scissors-Tape-Pencil

Step 1Print the PDF pattern- The pattern print is 40 letter sized pages. Make sure the pattern is printed on lettersized paper. DO NOT SCALE OR FIT pages. The pattern must be printed in poster format.

Step 2Arrange the sheets on the floor or a large table in cronological order.

Step 3Once all the pieces are are in order, tape them together.

Step 4Cut out the pattern according to the style and size guide.

Step 5Proceed with placing your pattern piees on the fabric according to cutting instructions noted on the pattern pieces.

Sewing Instructions

Step 1Place the fabric on the pattern and cut out the correct size based on style and measurements.Trace all the markings.

Step 2Stitch darts on front dress/blouse and press toward the center.

Step 3Stitch center back seam, basting from the notch up. Press seam allowance open.Stitch front to back at shoulder seams.

Step 4Fold ends of the yoke ruffle uner 1/2” and hem 1“ press.

Step 5Pin the wrong side of the yoke ruffle to right side of front and back dress/blouse. Pin the ends first and pleat to fit.

Step 6

Stitch yoke front to yoke back athe shoulder seams.

Step 7With right sides together, pin dress/blouse front and back to yoke front and back.Stitch, trim seam and press. Press under 5/8” on remaining back opening.

Step 8Add bias tape to neck (dress only) To continue with blouse instructions go to Step 14

Step 9Add hook and eye closures.

Step 10Stitch front to back at side seams.

Step 11Stitch dress sleeve underarm seam.

Step 12Attach sleeve, pleating at the shoulder to fit.

Step 13 Hem the dress and the dress sleeve 1”.

Step 14 Fold the ends of the collar ruffle under 1/2” and stitch

Step 15 With right sides together, pin collar ruffle to 1 piece of the collar 1/2” from the ends and pleat in the middle to fit.

Step 16On the second piece of the collar, press under 5/8”.

Step 17With right sides together, stitch collar facing to collar, leaving edges open. (be careful not to catch in ends of ruffle)

Step 18Turn collar out, and press the ruffle.

Step 19With right sides together, pin collar to neck edge. Stitch, being careful not to catch in presses edge of collar facing.

Step 20On inside, slip stitch pressed edge of collar facing and apply the hook and eye closures.

Step 21Stitch front and back of blouse at side seams and hem under 1”

Step 22Stitch the underarm of the blouse sleeve and gather the lower edge of the sleeve.

Step 23Fold the blouse cuff in half and stitch ends closed. Fold right side out and press.

Step 24Attach the sleeve to the blouse, pleating at the shoulder to fit.
