zzz CellCeps+ Heated Forceps and Tampers For orientation and positioning of histological specimens during embedding in paraffin wax. The CellCeps+ Heated Forceps incorporate a safe, low voltage heating element, maintaining an optimum temperature for specimen manipulation in histological wax. They may be used continuously without adjustment. Tissue temperatures will not be significantly affected.

The serrated jaw version has a strong grip ideal for manipulating specimens, cassettes, and base molds. The smooth jaw version is ideal for handling fragile tissue.

Overall forceps length is 15cm with 1.1 meter cord.

For reproducible results, two aspects of the breaking procedure must be measurably controlled: position and load. The positioning of the glass on the GKM 2 is controlled by precision micrometers. The breaking pressure is controlled by the constant feedback displayed on the digital readout as the clamping handle and breaking arm are adjusted. This allows the minimum load possible to break the glass, producing long, straight edges.

The “balanced break” method requires an equal length of glass on both sides of the score, along with a mechanism that applies equal load to both sides, resulting in a straight break through the glass. This is crucial since this newly-formed edge becomes the actual knife edge.

The components of the GKM 2 body are precision-machined from solid metal, providing a stable platform for this exacting technique. Alignment is secured by a locking mechanism to maintain your desired settings.

Pressure sensor and digital display enable the operator to produce accurate knives with each controlled break. Precision micrometers accurately position glass squares for the final break into knives.

Ideal for high-volume pick and place applications. These versatile trays hold fragile devices securely during shipping, handling or processing. Components stay in place until released by the application of vacuum to the underside of the tray. The surface of the VR carrier uses a proprietary film membrane over a mesh material.

zzz DYMO-Compatible CryoSTUCK® Thermal Transfer Labels

Cryogenic labels for frozen surfaces The benefits of CryoSTUCK® are now available for labels compatible with DYMO® LabelWriter® printers. These cryogenic labels are specially designed to be applied directly to already frozen vials and tubes stored under deep-freeze conditions (-80°C). There is no need to thaw containers before labeling. Once the labels are applied, containers or vials can be returned for long-term storage in liquid nitrogen (-196°C/-321°F) or ultra-low temperature freezers (-80°C).

In addition to their CryoSTUCK features, these DYMO-compatible labels show excellent resistance to routine laboratory chemicals such as alcohols (100% Ethanol immersion: up to 15 minutes), acetone, xylene (immersion: up to 30 minutes), detergents, disinfecting solutions, and sanitizing wipes.
