ABSTRACT-

In this paper, we propose a securitysystem that will provide protectionagainst thefts to houses this system isdesigned in such a way that a commonman can afford it and can protect theirproperties from thefts. This system usesinfrared technology. The propose systemis cost effective with all advancefunctions, 100% reliable and also powerefficient it uses only 10-15V of power to befully functional. This system can be doneunder 5000/- Rs of cost. Keyword’s—cost effective, less powerconsumption, reliability, mostadvance

I.INTRODUCTIONThere are already security

systems available in the market. But the rates are so high thatonly rich people are able toafford a security system and alsothe functionality of those systemare very less . for example the

security alarm it self costsaround 2000/- Rs and that is ofnot that use

I got to know about thesecurity conditions in thepresent day world[1].And decidedto create a security system toeveryone equally so everyone cansecure their properties.

So the propose securitysystem is low expensive, withmost advance functions, where acommon man can afford one.Basically the system is totallymade of electronic scrapmaterials, which RC toy cars, some parts from DVD players, andother materials which brings

The cost of this system toits minimum. and this systemworks on very simple principleswith easy mechanism if anyone

person has a basic technicalskills. He can get a clearpicture of the complete mechanismof the whole system. Noprogramming or any specialsoftware is required to run thissystem. Its just like a plug andplay model. Where you will justneed to install this systemwhere every you want switch it onand forget about your homeprotection. Its completelyautomated. The only thing youshould make sure that thesurroundings of this system isclean because dust may effect theworking of the system. There isan air tight case where allcomponents will sit in but. Justtaking minimum basic precautionsisn’t a big deal. And if there isa power cut also. It can run onbackup batteries like carbatteries or computer UPS or anyother power sources which canprovide 15V of current II. SECURITY SYSTEM MODEL

(Fig1.)Fig1.shows the basis model designof the system The system was madeby many stages like there wherevarious components, variousmethods of texting wereexperimented. Firstly system wasmade of lasers instead of butthere were few problems like:- toprotect the whole house we needto diffract the laser beam allaround the house with minimirrors and when that was done atnight times the laser light atthe diffraction point on themirror was visible. Also thereceiving component LDR (lightdependent resistor) has to beused to detect the light andsense the moment but turning onthe LDR for long time causeheating of that component rapidlyand would stop working some timewhich is a backdrop of using

laser. infrared was doing betterthan the laser. So it wasreplaced the laser withIR(infrared) transmitter andIR(infrared) receiver. Which wasa perfect combination for mywhole system. and the the systemtook its new face and namedInfrared Security System.Fig2.(shows the circuit part ofthe system) (Fig2.)

If there is some problem occurredin system or in functionality itso easy to solve. Like evenguiding through a phone a personwho know basics can solve theproblems of the system.III. WORKING OF THE SYSTEM Working of th system is whenevera thief breaks into a housewhere this system is fixed in.The system will make a security

alert call to the owners mobile,As shown in the below figure

Fig3(shows the mobile callingmechanism)

(Fig3.)

It even locks every door presentin the property and also soundsthe alarm. The doors are thenopened when the owner comes andopens the door by calling backfor this system, This system hadbeen already tested this systemin a house which gave 100%results as it should. Fig4.(showsthe basic Door locking mechanism)

(Fig4.)

This is system is mainly based oninfrared technology which is veryefficient (Fig5.)

Fig5.(shows the principle ofworking of the IR sensors) .Asshown in the fig4. There will bean IR receiver and IR transmitterin my system, which will beprojecting a continues Infraredbeam from transmitter toreciver.Fig5. (Shows the IRtransmitter circuit )

(Fig5.) (Fig6.)

Fig6.(shows the IR receivercircuit)And when the beam isinterrupted it will quickly sensethe interruption and gives powersupply to a motor which rotatesand comes down joining threecircuits. 1. Mobile calling circuit (Fig3.)2. Door locking circuit (Fig4.)3. Alarm circuit. (Fig7.shows thealarm circuit)

(Fig7.)Fig8.(shows the motor circuitjointment) (Fig8.)

Next there will be call to yourmobile, After that if you want toopen the doors back again, youcan open it by calling thissystem back (by giving a missedcall). Fig9. (Shows the joiningof different circuits)

(Fig.9)The above Fig9. Shows thedifferent circuits which will beactivated when that IR beam isinterrupted.

(Fig10.)This is a part taken out from DVDplayer and will be used as the

Door locking component, the nameof the component is CCM.Fig11. (Shows the power supplyunits)

(Fig.11)The P.S.U (Power Supply Unit) forthe whole system is made from 2mobile battery chargers. And thesystem uses up to 15V of powerwhich is very less and so energyefficient. This is one of theadvantages of the system whichuses less power. IV. APPLICATIONS OF INFRAREDSECURITY SYSTEM

This system can protect notonly homes. But also any otherproperties like office, labs, institutions etc. with a fewminor adjustments it can be in aposition to provide you themaximum security. The system istotally mechanical based withoutusing any programming or anydevelopment boards. V.CONCLUSIONThis paper proposes a securitysystem that is low expensive, most advance, and power efficientin regards of a common man tohelp everyone to protect theirproperties in low budget. And itis already been done and alsotested in a home which gave 100%resultVI.FUTURE SCOPEWe can develop this system inmore ways like getting live videofeed not only to smart phones butalso to any mobile. Also we cankeep a small defense system liketo slightly harm the thief whoenters the home. It is just alittle teaser or hitting withplastic bullets by using toy gunsjust prevent him by taking anyaction like breaking doors ortrying to escape
