BLUE MOON is all about premium, high-quality & full-service audiovisual support.

Our headquarters are situated in Aartselaar (near Antwerp) and we have a commercial office in Brussels.

These strategic locations allow us to service clients throughout Europe and the rest of the world.

Day in, day out, our 35 employees share their passion for the audiovisual sector. This results in more

than 1600 projects each year.

BLUE MOON offers the whole package. Our employees ensure a close follow-up and consulting in the

run-up to your event or audiovisual installation. Our reliable AV technicians will assist you and your

speakers during the event. And, last but not least, our in-house media team will create visual content to

boost your event. Besides our core activities (sound, light & video), we offer total coordination of related

technical suppliers, so you will only have a single point of contact for all your technical needs.

BLUE MOON develops your online event and

premium webinar from A to Z.

During the Covid-pandemic, companies needed a

new form of corporate communication. We

anticipated this by creating the BLUE MOON

studios: a network of 15 studios throughout

Belgium. Our team technically equipped these

studios for all types of online events and recordings.

In addition to these fixed venues, we also offer

pop-up studios at your location of choice.

During the first year of the pandemic, we hosted

more than 1200 digital events.

But not everything happens online. Hybrid events

offer the best of both worlds and combine online

and offline advantages. This way, you can invite

your audience to one of our BLUE MOON studios

and at the same time broadcast to other

participants at home. It is an ideal solution to

communicate in a globalized world.

During the Covid crisis, the Martens Centre quickly

realized the benefits of online communication. In

June 2021, the think tank hosted the European

Ideas Forum. This digital gathering is a textbook

example of an online event! International speakers

dialed in to participate in the debate and exchange

ideas. The audience followed the show online.

BLUE MOON designed and created the futuristic

set-up at Claridge Events in Brussels. Our crew was

responsible for the audiovisual flow during the

event. Interviews with well-known European

politicians like Donald Tusk were precisely

captured on camera by our team.

In January 2021, VOKA, Kamer van Koophandel

Antwerpen-Waasland, organized its yearly

‘Vooruitblik’ event. This time, they decided to host

the event online.

From our BLUE MOON studios at TER ELST, we

broadcasted many presentations and interviews

about the economic perspective for the near future.

The event was a real success with more than 900

viewers! They could ask their questions live to the

panelists through a chat function.

Let’s mix the online with the offline! On behalf of

Febeg, BLUE MOON hosted an interactive, hybrid

event about the future of energy transition.

The board members were physically present in the

studio and could interact with public speakers like

Peter Hinssen. The different camera angles, diverse

debates, and inspiring keynotes ensured that the

online audience could enjoy a dynamic show.

BLUE MOON built the pop-up studio with a VMIX

set and 13 PTZ cameras. Our online event director

directed the whole show.

What better way to open a brand-new studio

than launching a live kick-off event? We officially

introduced the BLUE MOON studios at KINEPOLIS

in March 2021. We showed what our BLUE MOON

studios have to offer. So, together with our partner

Kinepolis, we hosted an inspiring debate on

digitalization.

After two intensive weeks of building, our crew was

responsible for all audiovisual support during the

event. Our in-house media team created content to

fill the 136 m² cinema screen and 12 m² LED screen.

Challenge: a studio on the second floor and a

participating audience on the fourth floor. If you

can imagine it, you can achieve it!

Accent fully understood the advantages of a hybrid

event and used this format to host its yearly award

show. The winners were announced in the studio

downstairs, and the awards were handed over to

the laureates two floors up. The different settings,

content and camera angles made the event fun to

watch.

In October 2021, BLUE MOON had the opportunity

to broadcast and provide technical support for the

G-STIC conference. This conference focuses on

accelerating technological solutions for societal

challenges. On occasion of Expo 2020, the hybrid

event was hosted in Dubai.

BLUE MOON thought about every technical

and operational detail. Both the equipment and

the crew flew over to the event venue in Dubai.

We supported technical assistance on two

different locations of the expo site: the Dubai

Exhibition Centre and the Belgian Pavilion.

CORPORATE EVENTS

Let’s not forget about the live events!

Whether you are organizing a small meeting or

a large international convention, BLUE MOON is

your go-to partner for every gathering that needs

audiovisual support. Our motivated and highly

trained technicians are experts in lights, audio, and

video. They make concepts and ideas come to life.

BLUE MOON wants to offer an answer to every

question: electricity, staging, translating booths,

interpreters, and so on. We help you every step of

the way to your live event.


In November 2018, several prominent EU politicians

gathered at the European People’s Party congress

in Helsinki. More than 2000 participants from over

40 countries visited the congress.

BLUE MOON was responsible for all technical

support. The custom-made, 540 m² curved video

projection was the eye-catcher of this production

and ensured a diverse experience.

The annual Global Sustainable Technology &

Innovation Conference is a three-day meeting.

It aims at accelerating the transition to a wide-

scale deployment of market-ready technological

solutions for the SDGs.

Together with our partners Acerio & Zanzibar,

we designed the concept based on the client’s

desired look and feel.

His Majesty King Philippe attended a presentation

on the first urban medical drone flight between

the Sint-Augustinus Hospital and the Antwerp

University Hospital. This medical drone transports

laboratory samples and pharmacy preparations

between both hospitals.

BLUE MOON took the lead in the audiovisual and

technical support of the entire presentation.

The first Vivium Digital Awards were presented

at Docks Dome in Brussels in October 2019. Our

project managers designed the complete setup for

both the plenary and the reception room. The one-

of-a-kind chandelier, consisting of three projection

screens, and the sci-fi-inspired hallway were the

eyecatchers of the event.

Thanks to the preparation of the whole team and

the support of our event director, the complex

show ran very smoothly.

BLUE MOON transformed the Marco Polo room

of BluePoint Venues Antwerp into a magnificent

setting for a live cooking show for AZ Klina’s

New Year’s Event. Multiple remote cameras

captured every handling of the chefs. This way,

the audience, who sat around the kitchen area,

could watch every detail on the screens.

Successful events need good content! An audience

keeps its attention during an (online) event

through engagement, interaction, impactful

footage, and a mix of inspiring presentations and

interviews. BLUE MOON has the expertise to guide

its customers in achieving this result.

Our colleagues provide a meticulous follow-up

in production and communication. We do this

in many ways: from developing event concepts

to finding the most appropriate online platform,

from writing a detailed script to filming business

pitches. BLUE MOON can offer strong visuals for

(online) events and has in-house know-how in

directing live shows.

Our media experts translate your message into

qualitative visuals. In need of powerful graphics,

convincing bumpers, or a corporate video?

Name it, our creative team likes to think out of the

box and boosts your communication to target your

audience.


IBA, a high-technological medical company,

launched a new online platform: “Campus”. This

is a tool where stakeholders can share scientific

knowledge. IBA hosted an online event in one of

our BLUE MOON studios to introduce the platform.

Many interviews with proton therapy experts and

IBA leading figures explained the benefits and

different features of Campus.

Our content creators provided animations, such

as bumpers and lower thirds to make the show

dynamic. Afterwards, BLUE MOON edited the

different recordings to make it a whole. Our online

event director followed up pre-production closely

with the client and directed the shoot on set.

Emino supports people in the labor market who

experience obstacles due to health reasons or work

restrictions. The organization wanted to showcase

its services through a series of webinars.

Together with our technical crew, our online event

director recorded these webinars in our BLUE

MOON studios at TER ELST. Next to this, our media

team supported the online event with pre-

recorded testimonials and with customized

footage, branded in the colors and style of Emino.

In need of some footage to boost the communica-

tion of your products and services? Say no more!

Impextraco, a supplier in feed ingredients for

animals, wanted a video that showed their

facilities. Together with the client, our media team

intensively brainstormed a script and a storyboard.

We recorded both footage of the Impextraco site

in Heist-op-den-Berg and quotes from employees.

The company can now use the video for marketing

purposes towards its stakeholders.

Beacon was keen to use! The hub contacted our

team to build their streaming studio, called Studio

Sonar.

The studio is equipped with the best technical

materials and is also user-friendly. Anyone

can operate it via an intuitive touch interface.

This way, each user can easily set up a professional

stream. When, in an unlikely event, something

would go wrong, our technicians are never afar.

They can dial in remotely and help you further.

Quartier Papier, the beautiful event space near

Brussels, asked our help in designing and installing

their new AV installations.

Therefore our Pro AV Solutions team provided the

venue with the latest and newest state-of-the-art

AV technology. From easy to operate light switches

to complex audio routing and from discrete

speakers to stunning LED screens.

Zoo Antwerpen asked us to design and install

a digital signage screen for their entrance.

Our Fixed Install team used 9 outdoor and high

brightness P4 LED panels to create a large video

banner that fits nicely under the existing entrance

canopy.

The content is managed via a BrightSign player

and controlled through Widget Designer from

Coolux. The software runs on a touchscreen based

control system so it can easily be modified.

BLUE MOON designed a custom underwater

microphone so the divers canbe clearly

understood by the visitors of the aquarium of

Zoo Antwerpen.

Therefore we engineered and 3D printed the

microphone cover in-house so it fits a standard

diving mask. Our team also adjusted and

reprogrammed the existing sound system in the

aquarium.

Just like the Beacon, UZ Leuven saw the benefits of

an in-house, branded studio. BLUE MOON created

the technical concept and built it at the hospital.

The result looks great! The studio is ready to

host many pitches and presentations. Users

can even explain medical information here.

For example, employees of UZ Leuven can record

instruction movies on how to wear COVID-19

protective clothing at work.

BLUE MOON has developed the BLUE MOON AV

Manager for its customers, the main purpose of

which is to make communication about AV projects

more efficient and transparant.

Without direct intervention of BLUE MOON, the end

user can:

• request new quotes

• consult the latest versions of existing quotes

• confirm or cancel projects

• view the comfirmed planning

• provide feedback on completed projects

• order AV consumables online

• consult and download the order forms

The AV Manager is available on every browser or via

our mobile app on “Google Play” or the “Apple App

Store”.

Since 2014, BLUE MOON is one of only two

companies in the Belgian AV sector that has

successfully obtained the VCA* certificate.

VCA (SCC) is a certification process that tests

companies in terms of safety, health and environment

management system. All employees have VCA

and other function-related certificates.

At least 4 times a year, BLUE MOON organizes

a toolbox meeting. In these short and informal

get-togethers, coordinated by our internal

prevention advisor, we discuss work-

related safety, health & environmental topics.

By doing so, we promote our company’s

safety culture.

The BLUE MOON academy stimulates personal

Everyone within our company receives

continuous training via the BLUE MOON training

Academy. On average, each employee gets

more than 50 hours of training per year. These

can be technical instructions or personal

development workshops. Our project managers

are BARCO or eQ-SYS, certified specialists.

BLUE MOON strives to be a sustainable company.

We want to integrate economic, social as well as

environmental aspects into our policy. It is not

always an easy task, but a continuous process that,

in addition to a clear vision, also requires the active

cooperation of both managers and employees.

BLUE MOON seeks to minimize the impact of its

activities on the environment, public health,

climate, and natural resources. We do this in waste,

transport, and energy policy.

As part of the VCA* certification, an external

inspection agency also audits our environmental

care system.

RESPONSIBILITY

BLUE MOON started the trajectory of “VOKA

Charter Sustainable Entrepreneurship” in

2021. The initiative will help our company

to optimize our business sustainability. The

United Nations Sustainable Development

Goals (SDGs) are at the basis of the Charter.


Our fleet only consists of recent euro 6

diesel vehicles as well as electric vans.

With our own solar panels, we generate

19.000 kWh/year of green electricity and all

our outdoor and office lighting has been

replaced by LEDs.

BLUE MOON supports various charities,

sports clubs and social initiatives.

One of them is vzw BIJS that provides

a warm home for children with a mental

and/or physical disability. BLUE MOON helps

them with AV equipment at their various

fundraising events.

We are the proud godfathers of a meerkat

in the Antwerp Zoo and by doing so we are

contributing to the research on international

breeding programs for endangered species

with the renowned Antwerp Zoo Center for

Research and Conservation.
