The Microsoft Partner Skills Academy (PSA) is an Integrated technical skilling program targeting those who demonstrate their skills on the job every day and are ready to take the next step toward validating their expertise with a Microsoft Role-Based certification. This co-invested program from Microsoft delivered through Learning Partners for selected top Microsoft Partners.

The PSA is a multi-component program designed to support the learners through online training, ILT & workshops, Exam preparation & Certification.

Each country in MEA will have an appointed Learning Partner that will support that region’s partner base with their skilling plan. The courses are aimed to help partners achieve specialized skills, aiming at advanced competencies at pre-arranged partner prices solely available through the PSA program.

1. What is the difference between the packages?a. The fundamental difference between the Diamond package and the rest, is that the Diamond package includes access to an instructor-led course, delivered by a certified MCT. The balance of the packages mainly uses the PSA learning platform that has reference to material that you have to work and read through on your own time.

2. Can I purchase more than one package per person?a. Yes, a single package is required per course that you would like to attend or write, multiple packages can be purchased per person which can consist of any combination of the packages mixed.

3. Where do I get my exam voucher?a. On confirmation of your order, with the necessary PO or POP in hand, MIE’s exam department will issue the exam voucher to you. You can elect to book your exam at MIE, otherwise you can use the voucher number to book at a location that is centrally located to you, or online using OnVue. If you elect this method, please do not hesitate to ask for your support guide. Exam vouches are valid up to 30 June 2022.that has reference to material that you have to work and read through on your own time.

4. How long do I have access to the platform?a. Your access to the learning platform is unlimited, the content on there is pulled directly from MS Learn and will from time to time be updated.

5. Which dates do I attend my Official MS course on?a. MIE has a rolling 6-month training schedule that will allow you to plan for you and your IT Pro’s or Dev’s training. Our 6-month schedule has multiple dates per course, this is to negate the necessity of sending everyone on training on the same course date. We are aware of the importance of business continuity and have thus planned our schedule in that manner to allow for that.

6. What is the Hosted Online Lab?a. MIE provides hosted online labs that maps to the exercises in our Microsoft Official Curriculum supplied with your package. The intent of the lab is to provide a closely simulated real-time environment, often running multiple instances to ensure that you get the best practical experience in preparation of your exam and increased knowledge and skills.

7. ow do I access my Exam Prep Support session? a. MIE will provide you with access to MS Forms to support the exam preparation process. Questions that require additional support will be passed onto a MCT will assist with regards to the query.

8. How do I access my Q&A Support Session?a. MIE will run Q&A sessions based on demand whereby you can spend time with an MCT to assist with regards to the content of the course and questions that you may have on the curriculum you have completed.

9. What is the Pearson Vue Practice Test and how do I gain access to it?a. Microsoft Official Practice Tests are self-study tools that prepare candidates before taking a Microsoft exam. Practice tests are written by subject matter experts and ensure that all objectives of the exam are covered in depth. Microsoft Official Practice Tests can be activated at MeasureUp.com within 6 month of purchase and are valid for 30 days after activation. On confirmation of your order, with the necessary PO or POP in hand then MIE’s exam department will issue the practice test to you.

10. What is the Azure Student Pass?a. Many of the Apps & Infra courses require that you spin up labs that are done at a cost on Microsoft Azure. MIE will provide learners attending these courses or labs with Azure Slice labs. This allows you access to the lab for 180 days, the cost of Microsoft Azure is covered in Azure Slice allowing you to restart each lab 10 times over the 180 days. Where we do not provide Microsoft Azure slice, we will provide you with a voucher that you can load against your MS Account to the value of $100 to cover any costs required in Microsoft Azure.
