On the audience Make sure you understand the nature

of the audience (background, number, their dress, etc.)

Try to research on the speakers. Spell out the name of the speakers

carefully If you need a collaboration with

audience, performers, users or speakers please communicate what you need (to them).

Don’t be intimidated by your audience.

minutes.

Proof read again Check all the details (fix any changes) Rehearse the script (officially or not) Printout should be readable Make a cover or cue cards if needed On stage you may alter SERIOUS changes.

No right or wrong way to MC Don’t freak out or over nervous Check the sound system or ask the sound

man to do so. Saying sorry sometimes not necessary Humor if you think the timing is right
