600/2020Starting from 1 April 2020, Ministry of Commerce extends the online licensing system to 164 product tariff lines which comprise 91 tariff lines for import and 73 tariff lines for export, covering a range of products including CMP garment and essential import items such as pharmaceuticals and healthcare items, hospital equipment, foodstuffs, fertilizers, palm oil, and oil products, dairy products, electronic devices, fuel oil, lubricants, motorbikes and bicycles, agricultural products, lead, sugar, natural gas, and

other products. The License application can be applied and submitted via www.myanmartradenet.com.mm.

Through the Newsletter No. 6/2020, dated 30th April 2020, Myanmar has extended the list of items which the license can be applied online. Currently, there are a total of 88 export items and 650 import items classified in under the tariff lines of the 2017 Myanmar Customs Tariff (MCT) which the license

thereto can be applied online via www.myanmartradenet.com.mm.

Electronic Export Health Certificate During the Enhanced Community Quarantine Period The Circular provides detailed instructions as guidance in the acceptance of electronic export health

certificate during the enhanced community quarantine period. Electronic health certificates (E‐HC) may be submitted by the Veterinary Authority of source country by providing online validation link and instruction on how to access the certificate. In the absence of electronic verification system, the authentication of these certificates may be coursed through their Authorized Representative in

respective Philippine‐based embassy. The submission of original HC by the Veterinary Authority will follow once the courier services has resumed normal operations. All related communications regarding

E‐HC shall be coursed through government veterinary office and representatvie using their official address to: Florence D. Silvano, DVM, PhD, Chief, National Veterinary Quarantine Services,

<a>[email protected]</a>. The acceptance of E‐HC in applicable shipments is valid during the period of Enhanced Community Quarantine which will end on 30 April 2020, unless

otherwise revoked earlier or extended. Thereafter, procedure will revert to the default processing using paper Health Certificates.
