- When the charger is connected, with power on or off, the headset will turn off.- While charging, the LED indicator will show a solid white light.- The buttons will not function while the device is charging.- It takes 2 hours to fully charge the headset.- When charging is complete, the LED indicator will turn off.

- Press and hold the MFB for 3 seconds.•You will hear, "power off", the Bluetooth link will disconnect and the power

will turn off.

How to use

- An announcement will play once every 2 minutes.- If the battery is not charged, the headset will turn off.

- By pressing and holding the VOLUME DOWN button for 1 second, you can check the battery status of the HBM-235, The audible battery status alert will inform you of the battery level. There are 3 levels of battery status. 1. Battery is high2. Battery is medium3. Battery is low

- Press and hold the MFB for 3 seconds.•The power will turn on and you will hear, "power on".

- Before using the headset for the first time, it must be paired with a Bluetooth-enabled handset.

- There are 3 pairing modes with the HBM-235.1) Easy Pairing

•Press and hold the MFB for 3 seconds to turn on the HBM-235.•The headset will enter auto-reconnect mode for 10 seconds.

(if your headset has already been paired with the handset, the headset will automatically reconnect to the handset when the HBM-235 is powered on).

How to use

•After 10 seconds, the HBM-235 will automatically enter pairing mode.•When the headset enters pairing mode, the LED indicator will show a solid

white light.•Using your handset, find the Bluetooth menu and “search for” or “add” new

devices.•Select “LG HBM-235” from the list of devices and pair it with your handset.• If you are asked for the passkey or PIN during pairing, please enter “0000”

(4 zeros).•Once pairing has been completed successfully, you will hear a beep.•After pairing has been completed, make sure you "connect" to the LG

HBM-235. You will hear "Connected".•If you want to pair with a different device in the future, the headset must be

placed into pairing mode.• If the headset is in pairing mode for 3 minutes without being connected to

a handset, the HBM-235 will automatically turn off.

2) Manual Pairing

•With the power off, press and hold the MFB for 6 seconds.•When the headset enters pairing mode, the LED indicator will show a solid

white light.• Using your handset, find the Bluetooth menu and “search for” or “add” new

devices.•Select “LG HBM-235” from the list of devices and pair it with your handset.•If you are asked for the passkey or PIN during pairing, please enter “0000”

(4 zeros).•Once pairing has been completed successfully, you will hear a beep.•After pairing has been completed, make sure you "connect" to the LG

HBM-235. You will hear "Connected".• If you want to pair with a different device in the future, the headset must be

placed into pairing mode.• If the headset is in pairing mode for 3 minutes without being connected to

a handset, the HBM-235 will automatically turn off.

3) Proximity Pairing (Headset Initiated Pairing)

•Go into your handset Bluetooth menu and set your handset’s Bluetooth to Visible or Discoverable mode.

•Place the HBM-235 within 4 inches (10cm) of your handset.

How to use

• With the power off, press and hold the MFB on the HBM-235 for 6 seconds to enter Manual Pairing mode (solid white light).

• Press and hold the Volume Up and Volume Down buttons at the same time for 3 seconds to place the HBM-235 in Proximity pairing Mode.

• When the headset enters Proximity Pairing mode, the LED indicator show a solid white light.

• For 20 seconds, the HBM-235 will search for a handset that has been placed into Discoverable or Visible mode.

• When the HBM-235 finds the handset, your handset will ask you if you want to accept the pairing request from the HBM-235.

• Select Yes, and pair the HBM-235 with your handset.• After your headset is paired, be sure to connect to the handset.

- If the HBM-235 is turned off (either accidentally or intentionally) while connected to a handset, the headset and handset will disconnect. The headset and handset will automatically reconnect when the HBM-235 is turned back on (provided that both devices are within the required range of 33 feet 10 meters).

[ Out of range ]

- When your handset and HBM-235 are separated by a range of 33 feet (10 meters) or more, the headset and handset will disconnect. When the handset and HBM-235 are within the required range again, the HBM-235 will automatically reconnect to the handset.

- If the headset and handset do not automatically reconnect when they are back within the required range, briefly press the MFB on the HBM-235 to reconnect manually.

- Press the VOLUME UP or VOLUME DOWN button to adjust the speaker volume.

- There are eight levels of speaker volume.

Answering a call- When there is an incoming call, the headset will ring.- Briefly press the MFB to answer the incoming call.

Making a call - If you make a call from the handset, the call will (depending on the

phone settings) automatically transfer to the headset. If the call is not automatically transferred, you can manually transfer the call by briefly pressing the MFB on the HBM-235 (handset and headset must be paired).

Voice dialing- Briefly press the MFB to activate “Voice Command”.

For best results, record the Voice dialing tag through your headset.NOTE: If your handset does not support Voice dialing, this action

may activate Last Number Redial.

Last number redial*- Press and hold the MFB for 1 second to activate “Last number redial”.

The headset will beep and then call the last number dialled.

Ending a call- Briefly press the MFB.

Transferring a call*- While on a call on your handset, briefly press the MFB to transfer the audio

to the headset (the headset and handset must be paired).- To transfer a call from the headset to handset, press and hold the

VOLUME UP button for 3 seconds.

Call waiting*- Answer a second call without hanging up the first call by pressing the

MFB for 1second. Press the MFB for 1second to return to the original call.- Briefly press the MFB to terminate both calls at once.

Call Reject*- Activate call reject by pressing the MFB for 1 second when the handset

rings. * These functions may only be used if your handset supports them.

For further information about using these features, please consult your handset's user manual.

How to use

The LG HBM-235 is capable of having two handsets connected to theheadset at the same time. This will give you the freedom of having only oneheadset to operate both of your handsets.

Activation / De-activation- For activation(or deactivation) advanced multipoint connection, with the

HBM-235 Discoverable mode or Not connected mode, press and hold the MFB and VOLUME UP(or DOWN) button simultaneously for 1 second. You will hear "On" (or "Off").

Connection- Pair the headset with one of your Bluetooth-enabled handsets. (per the

pairing instructions on pages 6).- Turn off the headset.- With the power off, press and hold the MFB on the HBM-235 for 6 seconds

to enter Manual Pairing mode. - Press and hold the MFB and VOLUME UP button on the HBM-235 for 1

second to enable Multipoint.- Now, pair and connect the headset with your other Bluetooth-enabled

handset. (This will be your primary handset).- Once this handset is paired and connected, go back and connect the first

paired handset to the headset. (This will be your secondary handset).* Note: When the HBM-235 is connected to two handsets at the same

time(multipoint), the headset calling functions will work with the primary handset (or handset which made the last outgoing call).

Calling function- Voice dialing and Last Number Redial features work with the primary

handset (or handset which made the last outgoing call).- The first connected device is set as the primary handset and the next

connected device is set as the secondary handset.- The device which made the last outgoing call will always be set as the

primary handset.- If there is an incoming call on each handset, the first incoming call can be

answered by a brief press of the MFB.

This Bluetooth® Headset HBM-235, is a radio transmitter and receiver.When in operation it communicates with a Bluetooth® equipped mobile device by receiving and transmitting radio frequency (RF) electromagnetic fields (microwaves) in the frequency range 2.4 to 2.4835 GHz. The output power of the radio transmitter is low (0.001 watts). Your Bluetooth® Headset is designed to operate in compliancewith the RF exposure guidelines and limits set by national authorities and international health agencies when used any compatible LG Electronics mobile phone.

6. Conditions- The warranty is valid only if the original receipt issued to the original

purchaser by the dealer, specifying the date of purchase and serial number, is presented with the product to be repaired or replaced. LG Electronics reserves the right to refuse warranty service if this information has been removed or changed after the original purchase of the product from the dealer.

- If LG Electronics repairs or replaces the product, the repaired or replaced product shall be warranted for the remaining time of the original warranty period or for ninety (90) days from the date of repair, whichever is longer.Repair or replacement may involve the use of functionally equivalent reconditioned units. 2. Potentially explosive atmosphereTurn off your electronic device when in any area with a potentially explosive atmosphere. Although this is uncommon, your electronic device could generate sparks. Emergency callsIMPORTANT!This Bluetooth® headset and the electronic device connected to the headset operate using radio signals, mobile and landline networks as well as user - programmed functions, which cannot guarantee connection under all conditions. Therefore you should never rely solely upon any electronic device for essential communications (e.g. medical emergencies). Remember, in order to make or receive calls, the headset and the electronic device connected to the headset must be switched on and in a service area with adequate mobile signal strength. Emergency calls may not be possible on all mobile phone networks or when certain network services and/or phone features are in use. Check with your local service provider.

4. Battery informationA rechargeable battery has a long service life if treated properly. A new battery or one that has not been used for a long period of time could have reduced capacity the first few times it is used. Do not expose the battery to extreme temperatures, never above+60。C(+140。F) or under -20。C(-4。F). For maximum battery capacity,use the battery at room temperature. If the battery is used in low temperatures, the battery capacity will be reduced. The battery can only be charged in temperatures between +10。C(+50。F) and +45。C (+113。F). For your safety, do not remove the battery incorperated in the product. If you need to replace the battery, take it to the nearest authorised LG Electronics service point or dealer for assistance.

5. Recycling the battery in your Bluetooth® headsetThe battery in your Bluetooth® Headset must be disposed of properly and should never be placed in municipal waste. The LG Electronics service partner who removes the battery will dispose of it accordingto local regulations.

Using headsets safely Use of headsets to listen to music whileoperating a vehicle is not recommended and is illegal in some areas.Be careful and attentive whilst driving. Stop using this device if you find it disruptive or distracting whilst operating any type of vehicle orperforming any other activity that requires your full attention.

- Mantenga pulsado el botón MFB durante tres segundos.•La energía se encenderá y usted escuchará el mensaje "encender".

- Mantenga pulsado el botón MFB durante tres segundos.•Usted escuchará "apagar", el vínculo de Bluetooth se desconectará y la

energía se apagará.

- Antes de utilizar el auricular por primera vez, deberá asociarlo con un terminal compatible con Bluetooth.

- El HBM-235 cuenta con tres modos de asociación.1) Asociación fácil•Mantenga pulsado el botón MFB durante tres segundos para encender el HBM-235.•El auricular pasará a modo de reconexión automática durante 10 segundos.

(Si ya ha asociado el auricular con el terminal, éste volverá a conectarse con el terminal de forma automática cuando encienda el HBM-235).

Reconexión automática

•Trascurridos 10 segundos, el HBM-235 pasará automáticamente al modo de asociación.

•Cuando el auricular pase al modo de asociación se iluminará el indicador LED en blanco.

•En el terminal, entre en el menú de Bluetooth y busque o añada nuevos dispositivos.

•Seleccione "LG HBM-235" en la lista de dispositivos y asócielo con el terminal.

•Si se le solicita el código de acceso o PIN durante el procedimiento de asociación, introduzca "0000" (4 ceros).

•Cuando el procedimiento de asociación haya terminado con éxito, oirá un pitido.

•Una vez finalizado el emparejamiento, asegúrese de "estar conectado" al auricular HBM-235 de LG. Escuchará el mensaje "Conectado".

•Si desea efectuar una asociación con otro dispositivo más adelante, el auricular deberá estar en modo de asociación.

en blanco.•En el terminal, entre en el menú de Bluetooth y busque o añada nuevos

dispositivos.•Seleccione "LG HBM-235" en la lista de dispositivos y asócielo con el terminal.•Si se le solicita el código de acceso o PIN durante el procedimiento de

asociación, introduzca "0000" (4 ceros).•Cuando el procedimiento de asociación haya terminado con éxito, oirá un

el modo visible o de detección.•Coloque el HBM-235 a 10cm del terminal.

Modo de uso

- Si se apaga el HBM-235 (voluntaria o accidentalmente) mientras está conectado al terminal, ambos se desconectarán.Volverán a conectarse automáticamente cuando se encienda de nuevo el HBM-235 siempre que ambos dispositivos se encuentren en el radio de alcance necesario de 10 metros.

[ Fuera del radio de alcance ]- Cuando el HBM-235 y el terminal se encuentren a una distancia de 10 metros

o superior, se desconectarán.Cuando entren de nuevo en el radio de alcance, el HBM-235 volverá a conectarse automáticamente al terminal.

- Si los dispositivos no se conectan automáticamente cuando vuelvan a estar enel radio de alcance necesario, pulse brevemente el botón MFB del HBM-235 para realizar una reconexión manual.

- Pulse el botón para subir o bajar el volumen para ajustar el volumen del altavoz.

- Puede elegir entre ocho niveles de volumen.

Contestar una llamada- Cuando reciba una llamada, sonará el auricular.- Pulse brevemente el botón MFB para atender la llamada entrante.Realización de llamadas- Si realiza una llamada desde el terminal, la llamada se transferirá de forma

automática al auricular (en función de la configuración del terminal). Si no se transfiere automáticamente, pulse brevemente el botón MFB del HBM-235 para transferirla de forma manual (el terminal y auricular deben estar asociados).

Marcar por voz- Pulse brevemente el botón MFB para activar el comando de voz.

Si desea obtener mejores resultados, grabe la etiqueta de marcación porvoz mediante el auricular.NOTA: si el terminal no admite la marcación por voz, es posible que estaacción active la función de volver a marcar el último número.

Volver a marcar el último número*- Mantenga pulsado el botón MFB durante un segundo para activar la

función para volver a marcar el último número.El auricular emitirá un pitido y llamará al último número marcado.

Finalizar una llamada- Pulse brevemente el botón MFB.

Transferir una llamada*- Mientras la llamada esté en curso, pulse brevemente el botón MFB para

transferir el audio desde el terminal al auricular (éstos deben estar asociados).

- Para transferir una llamada del auricular al terminal, mantenga pulsado elbotón para subir el volumen durante tres segundos.

Llamada en espera *- Atienda una segunda llamada sin cortar la llamada en curso pulsando el

botón MFB durante un segundo. Repita esta operación para volver a la primera llamada.

- Pulse brevemente el botón MFB para finalizar ambas llamadas al mismo tiempo.

Rechazar una llamada*- Cuando el terminal esté sonando, pulse el botón MFB durante un

segundo para rechazar la llamada.* Solo se pueden utilizar estas funciones si el terminal es compatible con

ellas. Para obtener más información sobre la utilización de estas funciones, consulte el manual de usuario del terminal.

Multipunto avanzado

El modelo HBM-235 de LG permite conectar al auricular dos terminales ala vez. De esta manera, podrá utilizar sus dos terminales con solo unauricular.Activación/Desactivación- Para activar (o desactivar) la conexión avanzada de varios puntos, con

HBM-235 en el modo de descubrimiento o modo de no conectado, mantenga presionados los botones MFB y SUBIR (o BAJAR) VOLUMEN durante 1 segundo en forma simultánea. Escuchará el mensaje "Activado" (o "Desactivado").

Tipo de conexión- Asocie el auricular con uno de los terminales compatibles con Bluetooth

según las instrucciones de asociación de la página-6.- Apague el auricular.- Mientras el auricular está apagado, mantenga presionado el botón MFB

en HBM-235 durante 6 segundos para ingresar al modo de emparejamiento manual.

- Mantenga presionado el botón MFB y SUBIR VOLUMEN en HBM-235 durante 1 segundo para activar la conexión de varios puntos.

- Ahora, asocie y conecte el auricular con el otro terminal compatible con Bluetooth (éste será el terminal principal).

- Una vez que el terminal mencionado esté asociado y conectado, vuelva atrás y conecte el primer terminal asociado al auricular (éste será el terminal secundario).

* Nota: cuando el HBM-235 esté conectado a dos terminales a la vez (multipunto), las funciones de llamada del auricular funcionarán con el terminal principal (o con el terminal que realizó la última llamada saliente).
