Administering the Assessment:

Oral individual assessment:

This will be the first part of the test and it will be done with one assessor per student. You will receive a separate piece of paper with directions to administer the reading passage part of the assessment. Please make sure to record the student’s name and/or ID on the top of the scoring sheet. At the end of testing, please attach the reading passage scoring sheet to the student assessment booklet.

Time limit for reading the story: 3 minutes (stop the student after 3 minutes)

For the summative assessment, ALL students will take ALL parts of the assessment.

Whole group test administration:

After the individual tests are finished, use the directions below to administer the written literacy and numeracy test to the group of students.
