TRAVELING SAFELY WITH iRISE ABOVE AND ADVENTUREWOMEN

Your safety has always been our number one priority. We recognize that the decision to travel is a personal one, and what matters most is that you feel comfortable doing so. One of advantages of traveling with iRise Above and AdventureWomen is our small group size of 12-14 women per trip. In addition, we have taken the following precautions to help you feel safe while you are on a trip. We hope this will help you in deciding whether travel is right for you at this unusual time.

Keeping You Informed We are constantly monitoring what’s happening in the world and how it impacts our trips. The current pandemic is no exception. We’ll communicate any pertinent information related to your departure as soon as we have it, so you’re always in the know. Closer to departure (about two to three months prior to your trip), we will touch base with updates and outline the specific protocols our partners have put in place to help everyone feel safer while traveling with us. Certain states and countries have instituted new measures such as COVID testing requirements or specific restrictions on travel, and we’re keeping a close eye on regulations that will affect our departures. Learn more by visiting the CDC and embassy websites for your specific destination. 24/7 Support Our office is staffed for emergencies and we’ll be here to provide assistance if needed. An iRise Above Ambassador joins every trip and is prepared to support your expert guide in managing logistics around any necessary adjustments.

WHAT TO KNOW BEFORE YOU GO Arriving Healthy iRise Above and AdventureWomen require all travelers to be vaccinated against COVID-19 prior to traveling. Please bring your vaccination card with you on your trip as proof that you are fully vaccinated. If you are experiencing COVID symptoms or obtain a positive COVID test result within 2 weeks prior to your trip, we ask that you contact us to discuss your options.

Trip Insurance We highly recommend that you purchase travel insurance. We value you as a guest, and we want your trip to be enjoyable and stress-free. We encourage you to shop around to find the insurance company and policy that best suits your needs. In the age of COVID, we especially recommend looking into Cancel For Any Reason (CFAR) policies. Face Coverings & Hand Sanitizer We require all guests to bring their preferred face covering and suggest one for each day of your trip. We’ll make every effort to have hand sanitizer available, but we highly recommend you bring your own (70% alcohol based).

ON THE TRIP Accommodations We’ve carefully selected the accommodations on our trips because of their high standards for quality. All our partners abide by enhanced safety protocols for cleaning and physical distancing. Additionally, we are suspending our roommate rotation until further notice. If you request to be matched with a roommate on your upcoming trip, you will have the same roommate throughout the entire trip. Single supplements are available on a limited basis. Vans/Transportation Where applicable, additional vehicles have been added to allow for physical distancing and cleaned daily including all common surface areas. In addition, we require all guests to wear masks while inside fully-enclosed vehicles on the trip. Food Preparation Your guides are trained in food handling safety and CDC guidelines. In addition to gloves, they will also be wearing a face covering during food preparation. Guides will make every effort to provide outdoor and/or private dining options wherever possible. Daily Check-Ins Your iRise Above Ambassador and expert guide will check in with you on a regular basis to ensure everyone is feeling safe and healthy. If you are experiencing any COVID symptoms, we ask that you let your guide know immediately.

COVID Testing In light of the new CDC requirement that all travelers returning from outside the US must provide proof of a negative COVID test from no more than 72 hours prior to their return, we are working with our partners to ensure there is a COVID testing location identified and time allotted within the last few days of your international trip for you to complete the required testing. As you are aware, this is a very fluid situation, and global policies and requirements are changing all the time. Please be assured that we will update you if any of our guidelines change. Your health and safety are paramount to iRise Above and AdventureWomen.
