Report on Water level indicator

Guided by: Dilip Ladumour

Water tank overflow is a common problem which leads to the wastage of

water. Though there are many solutions to it like ball valves which

automatically stop the water flow once the tank gets full. But being an

electronics enthusiastic wouldn’t you like an electronic solution for it? So

here is a simple and handy, that will guide you to make a circuit which will

detect the water level and will raise an alarm upon getting the water tank full

or a preset level.

The tester consists of an indicator in series with a source of electrical power - normally a battery, terminating in two test leads. If a complete circuit is established between the test-leads, the indicator is activated. The indicator may be an electric light or a buzzer. This led to the term "buzzing out a circuit" (which means to test for continuity) Audible continuity buzzers or beepers are built.

Project Report on Staircase Wiring, Godown Wiring,

Hostel Wiring

Staircase wiring:-

Staircase wiring is a common multi-way switching or two-way light

switching connection. Here one lamp is controlled by two switches from

two different positions. That is to operate the load from separate positions

such as above or below the staircase, from inside or outside of a room, or

as a two-way bed switch, etc.

Godown wiring:-

Godown wiring uses to operate lamps/loads in a sequential manner, where

only one load operates at a time. As its name implies “Godown wiring”, it is

commonly used for light switching in godowns, tunnel-like structures, long

passages.. etc, where the light is only required for passage or it requires

only at one position at a time. The advantage of the godown wiring is the

previous load will be turned off when we normally switch ON the next load.

Hostel Wiring:-

In such a circuit the main switch and the master switch are fitted in the hostel superintend room.

1. He can switch off entire supply to the rooms (by main switch) 2. He can switch on light for all the rooms during study hours by master on

switch. 3. He can give option for lighting the rooms after study hours.
