Probationers of other departments.

Medicine department in association with other medical colleges is actively involved in training

over 500 postgraduates yearly through Medical Education & Research Trust (MERT

Programme). Other CME programmes for Post graduate trainees are also being conducted

regularly. Training is provided to personnel deputed from health & Family welfare department

on topics of public health importance. Staffs are actively liaising with IISc in creating vaccine for

dengue fever. Multiple research articles are being published from the faculty and trainee post

graduates annually. We are actively involved in the undergraduate and post graduate teaching,

training of dental, physiotherapy ,OT technician and nursing students. We have conducted many

DNB exit exams. Department is actively involved in large multicenter Drug Trials, Clinical

Trials, CME s, National and State level physician meets.

Department is headed by Prof Dr.Ravi K. He presently looks into the departmental
