Supplementary information on financial contributions to the Agency

Note by the Director General

Since the report of the Board of Governors for thb year 1967-68 only covers

the period 1 July 1967 to 30 June 1968 and the General Conference may wish to be

informed of the latest position with regard to financial contributions to the

Agency, the Director General submits herewith, as Annexes to the present document,

five tables showing the position as at noon on 20 September 1968 in respect of:

(a) Advances to the Working Capital Fund;

(b) Arrears of contributions to the Regular Budgets for

1958-1967 inclusive;

(c) Supplementary contributions tc the Regular Budget for 1966 and

contributions to the Regular Budget for 1968;

(d) Outstanding voluntary contributions to the General Fund for

1965 and 1966; and

(e) Voluntary contributions to the General Fund for 1967 and 1968.

"A member of the Agency waich is in arrears in the payr.ent of its financial contributions to the Agency shal vote in -L.he Agency if the amount of its arrears equals or exceeds the amount of the contributions due from the preceding two years. The General Conference may, nevertheless, permit such a member to vote if it is that the failure to pay i>3 due to conditions beyond the control of the member".
