‘Thali’ is a Hindi word that means "a large plate". However, the meaning of Thali has

now expanded to mean a ‘style of eating’ in India. Thali - the meal, refers to the many

different dishes served in small bowls called ‘katoris’ arranged on a Thali, or a platter.

The Veg. thali will comprise three vegetarian dishes served with dal, raita, salad

and your choice of bread and rice. The non-veg thali will comprise two non-

vegetarian and one vegetarian dish served with dal, raita, salad and your choice of

provide the gastronomical finale to this ‘balanced diet on a plate’!
