Recommendations for design and construction of free-style stands

During your participation at Meat Attraction your stand will represent your company. This is where you will welcome customers, hold events and mee-tings, present your products and services, etc. You must therefore abide by the health and safety measures established by the authorities just as you would on your own premises and be responsible for the safety of your emplo-yees and visitors. It is therefore important that, when designing this space, you take these recommendations into account.

ACCESSThe number of enclosed spaces must be kept to a minimum. Any that do exist must have no roof to improve ventilation. IFEMA MADRID halls have very high ceilings and this, combined with the HVAC system, means they are well venti-lated. In any case, possible overcrowding or people crossing each other’s paths will be avoided if there are differentiated spaces duly marked for entry and exit.

FLOWSDepending on the size of your stand, it is advisable to create appropriately marked transit routes to ensure the safety of people moving within its confi-nes, including entry and exit signs. It is your responsibility to specifically ma-nage and control these flows with regard to possible delays that may occur while interacting with visitors attending the trade fair so as to ensure a mini-mum impact on common areas and respect for the rules established for Meat Attraction. Please contact IFEMA MADRID's security personnel in the event of any incidents that may arise in this regard (Tel.: +34 91 722 5400).

disassembly of the events and increasing the segregation of the wastes that assemblers decide is to be managed by IFEMA MADRID”.

To act in accordance with this commitment, since 1 January 2020, IFEMA MA-DRID has implemented a waste management system for events held at its facilities.

The new sustainability initiative is based on all the companies that participa-te in the assembly and disassembly of stands at each fair/event being directly responsible for managing the waste they generate and for its removal within the planned deadlines.

IFEMA MADRID will make available to companies that participate in the assem-bly and disassembly of stands at each fair/event the possibility of hiring waste containers to facilitate waste segregation and removal, at the current rates.

These containers can be hired from the online service contracting channel, the exhibitors area. In addition, IFEMA MADRID applies a 15% discount to con-tracts that are taken out up to one month in advance of the start date for as-sembly before the event. The containers can also be hired directly on the pre-mises, during the assembly or disassembly periods or during the event.

IFEMA MADRID will supervise and monitor waste management, identifying companies that fail to comply with the applicable regulations within their faci-lities and applying the current rates in these situations.Detailed information on these regulations can be found in the IFEMA General Rules of Participation. Also, for any questions or clarification you need, you can contact us on +34 91 722 30 00. Likewise, we are at your disposal by email: [email protected].

7. Promotion and Networking7.1 LIST OF EXHIBITING COMPANIES IN LIVE Connect and ifema.es/meat-

attraction

The list of exhibitors is an essential element of visibility and brand awareness for your company. The information it contains is provided not only to registe-red visitors to the fair but is also uploaded into the entire database of the sec-tor community so that any interested parties may consult it on the fair’s web-site. By using the functionalities offered by artificial intelligence, it is also very easy to perform advanced searches using filters or alphanumeric terms.

Participants in the LIVE Connect platform (exhibitors, visitors, speakers and media) will also see suggestions of exhibiting companies, staff or products from them according to their interests (artificial intelligence) and previous searches (machine learning). All this, together with the options for chat and contact request and appointment, exponentially increases business meetings and the capture of leads and contacts.

By consulting your company fact sheet, both registered visitors and other ex-hibitors will be able to:

• Find your stand number • Request an appointment with you

7.2 OPPORTUNITIES FOR PROMOTION AND SPONSORSHIP
