The son, nephew, and cousin of a lineage of preachers spanning several denominations, I have gain a lifetime of experience in Apostolic

ministry accruing more than 5,000 hours of religious study, preaching, teaching, training, counseling, edification in God's

Word/Biblical Scriptures, Christian Hermeneutics, Homiletics, Analytics and Apologetics. I preached my first

official sermon in 1996 constituting 20 years in ministry oratory and public speaking experience to

date.

Also, I have served in community roles including Vice President of the

African American Council of Church (WI), Executive

Direction of Zion City’s Community Outreach

Center, and new Kingdom 360

Business Initiatives.

I have been writing sermons for the past 20 years. Winning People, Losing America is my first published work. This new manuscript has been published as a standalone book rather than a compilation of sermonic writings carefully interwoven together as I originally thought. Also, I maintain a blog under the Blogging with PC “OFT” (Opinion, Fact or Truth) brand. Secular society coupled with religious culture has inadvertently created a climate in America that praises political correctness and legislation of questionable laws. Religious Traditionalists must now contend with how to remain spiritually relevant in perilous times and in the face of polarizing issues without compromising age old biblical practices and principles. Winning People, Losing America, though provocative, isn’t meant to be divisive, but rather bring people together over divisive issues.

Composing and arranging songs and producing music is my first love. I fell in love with music listening to the radio when artists and audiences alike could boast of the enriched pure quality of songs we heard playing over the airwaves way back when. Sure there are still some amazing artists out there today, but with the advances in technology giving access to anybody and everybody they are hard to decipher.

Who could argue with the likes of Lionel Richie, Kenny Rogers, Dolly Parton, Cool & the Gang, the Gap Band, Earth, Wind & Fire, Michael Jackson, Prince, Morris Day & The Time, Cameo, Journey, and all the artists and songs the 80’s brought us?

I remember listening to the radio one day only to experience a short spell where none of the music I heard was catching. It was then that I said to myself, “I’m going to write my own song.”

When I came across a set of Gospel tapes featuring Jesse Dixon, Andre Crouch, Walter Hawkins, and the Winans, I knew then what I wanted to be and do with my life. Since church was all I knew, this new contemporary style of music I was hearing for the first time was an epiphany.

Then, Commissioned came out and I would never be the same. Over the years I have grown and expanded in my composition styles with influences ranging from Milton Brunson, Fred Hammond, Kirk Franklin, to producers Jam & Lewis, J Moss and PAJAM.
