Introduction



1.1. Introduction

Pars Ghodrat Engineering and Construction Group was founded in 2005 aiming

at providing engineering and technical services as well as consultation with the

original name of Pars Ghodrat Shiraz and rebranded to Petro Pars Ghodrat

in 2009 to execute PC projects in electrical and instrumentation field of oil, gas

and petrochemical industries.

Petro Pars Ghodrat has demonstrated itself by brilliant results in

implementing industrial projects achieved by specialists having 10 years of

technical knowledge and experience.

We provide innovative and effective solutions to various challenges in industrial

projects and handing over projects with excellent quality with within budget.

In addition to the successful execution of various projects crowning the series of

commercial ties and mutual trust with stakeholders and clients, Petro Pars

Ghodrat, as a strategic partner in implementing high-value projects, is now a well-

known name among a number of industrial organizations in public and private

sectors. Extensive domestic and international communications have helped PPG to

expand the technical expertise in the field of logistics.

Quality management as per ISO standards is implemented in all organizational

With over 10 years of successful experience records in constructing and

commissioning various projects, the company has established a strong platform

1.7.1. Piping Section

1. Procurement, installation and pre-commissioning

- purchasing all kinds of piping materials such as valves, fitting, pipe, flange, nut

& bolt, gasket and any special pieces in all sizes and base metals.

- purchasing all kinds of support for bulk materials such as plate, beam, angel,

channel, spring, and hanger in all sizes and base metals.

- Mobilization, team up, document preparation, data basing in software and

project administration.

- Cutting, beveling, fit up and welding of spool and support for all sizes and

materials

- Installation, supporting, pneumatic and hydrostatic pressure test of field piping

above and under ground

- Preheating, PM I, NDT, PWHT and any piping examination requirement.

- Acid washing, oil and water flushing, air blowing, steam blowing and

reinstatement of field piping.

- Wrapping, cutting, sand blasting, painting, insulation and steam tracing of field

piping.

- Quality control as per project instruction.

- Punch removing, mechanical complications and pre-commissioning of field

piping.

- As built and M.C Book preparation.

- Purchasing all kinds of paint and insulation materials.

1. Installation, testing and energizing substations equipment

- Installation of power transformers with variant capacities, oil injection and

flushing. performing necessary tests on oil (paint test, voltage break down test,

special density test), electrical tests: (transformer ratio, continuity test, megger

test, No-Load test, current test, vector group test, short circuit test, resistance test,

Tan-Delta Test), energizing and finally completing checklist and reporting

performance on load.

- Installation of GIS panels and necessary tests and related connection of

termination kits using special equipment.

- Installation of LV/MV/HV panels and necessary tests.

- Installation of different panels of capacitor bank, IRP, PDCS, VFD and

performing commissioning test.

- Installation of UPS systems and battery charge as well as necessary tests such

as performance on load.

- Installation of MV/LV bus ducts and performing insulation and megger tests.

2. Installation of support, tray, cable ladder and conduits in different sizes.



3. Performing cable pulling of power and control cables in different sizes,

installation of (cable tray tags, cable gland, cable cleat, cable clamps and

termination), Performing necessary tests such as insulation test, Hi-Pot test

4. Installation, test and commissioning cathodic protection system including:

Installing rectifier transformers, anodes beds, half-cell, ignition welds and

periodical tests box.

5. Installation of all lighting systems equipment including fixture, projector,

distribution panels, junction box, lighting pole, gland and connection, test and

energizing.

6. Installation of all earthing and lightning systems equipment, including cable,

tape conductor, earth pit, earth rod, lightning air rod, cad weld, C-clamp, bus bars

and relevant tests such as continuity test, insolation test, resistance test.

1. Installation and commissioning control systems include: FCS, DCS, ESD and

PLC.

2. Installation, engineering and design of the cable routes such as tray/ladder and

routes in secondary part.

3. Performance of main and secondary cables.

4. Installation of panels and Instrumentation junction boxes.

5. Installation of cable glands to equipment, junction boxes and panels with cable

termination.

6. Calibration and Installation of field instruments such as pressure, temperature,

flow, level, and density transmitters and controllers.

7. Calibration and installation of analyzers for density, moisture, O2, CO2 and

gas chromatographer.

8. Piping and tubing of process field instruments.

9. Instrumentation loop check.

10. Installation, test and commissioning of fire alarm and fire fighting system.

11. Installation, Test and commissioning of telecommunication and paging

systems.
