The Engineering & Projects (E&P) division of Electrotherm is a

leading designer and manufacturer of Induction Melting Furnaces,

Electric Arc Furnaces, Metal Refining Konverters (AOD), Electrotherm

Refining Furnaces for , High Speed Continuous Casting(patented design & process)

Machine, Power Distribution and Furnace Transformers and other equipment for Steel P l an t s ,

Foundries, Induction Heating and Hardening equipment for Heat Treatment. The E&P division is a customer

centric organization delivering total solutions. It is particularly renowned for providing end-to-end solutions for

steel melt shops, supplying sturdy and highly efficient plant and machinery and rendering outstanding pre and pos t

sales services to its customers around the world. Due to high level expertise and vast experience, Electrotherm (E&P) is

the most preferred mini steel plant maker up to 1 million ton per year capacity through various alternative routes. Mor

eover, Electrotherm (E&P) is the only Indian company having CE marking for its Induction Furnaces LRF and MRK, certified

by UL Laboratories, USA.

The E&P division of Electrotherm has supplied over 3550 equipments for various applications, viz. 1800 equipment for steel, alloy

steel and stainless steel making plants, 1400 furnaces for ferrous and non-ferrous foundries and around 350 equipment for heat-

treatment applications. It has exported over 550 furnaces to 42 countries around the world. Besides, it has made several mini

steel plants overseas on turnkey basis in countries like Turkey, Iran, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Bangladesh and some

African countries for capacities ranging from 50,000 TPA to 1,000,000 TPA.

The Electric Arc Furnaces of Electrotherm are designed and manufactured under technical collaboration with

Vitkovice Heavy Machinery, Czech Republic. Rest of the major machineries, including Coal based DRI

plants and power plant utilizing waste heat generated by rotary Kilns, are designed and

manufactured by in-house expertise and facilities at Electrotherm.

Being a customer centric organization with focus on meeting changing needs of its

Induction Melting FurnacesFor Steel Plants

Electrotherm has a state-of-art manufacturing complex sprawling over an area of 96,000 sq

mt. Its manufacturing facilities include well-equipped machine shop with special purpose

machines, Panel assembly shop, quality control Labs and testing facilities for its range

of products. Most of the critical components are manufactured in-house to ensure

Electrotherm quality.

Today, Electrotherm is the only company in the world who

manufactures metallurgical equipment for steel making and has

its own Steel Plant, Ductile iron Pipe Plant, and coal based

DRI Plants as well.

Electrotherm gradually developed larger and larger furnaces for steel making and

these furnaces were the largest indigenously made furnaces at that given point of

time. Today, Electrotherm offers induction Melting and Holding Furnaces from 5 kg to 60

MT with Solid State Power Supply Units from 5 kW to 32,000kW.

Induction Heating & Hardening Equipment

Metal Refining Konverter and Ladle Refining Furnaces

Custom built Heat Treatment equipment is an integral part of ever growing Engineering and

Automotive sector. Electrotherm specializes in design, development and manufacture of

induction Heating and Harding machines for various applications like Rail Hardening, Gear

Hardening, Crank Shaft Hardening, Axle Hardening, Bar/ Billet Heating, Cookware

Bottom Brazing, Tube Welding, Annealing, Epoxy Coating, Pipe Bending etc.

Induction Furnace and Electric Arc Furnace are basically re -melting equipment. Need for some refining

equipment was felt to produce high quality steel. Electrotherm once again took the lead; designed,

developed and manufactured Metal Refining Konverter for decarburization and dephosphorization of

steel, to produce high quality stainless steel. Another metallurgical tool, Electrotherm Refining Furnace /

Ladle Refining Furnace for desulphurization and dephospherization and purification of steel to produce

special grades of alloy steel was launched by Electrotherm which improves the productivity of steel plants

as well. Today, Electrotherm offers MRK up to 100 MT, ERF upto 320 MT.

Continuous Casting Machine

Electric Arc Furnace

Electrotherm has developed Billet Casting Technology that precisely meets the requirement of

existing and new mini steel plants for casting liquid steel into billets.

1. High Speed Modular Caster: It is suitable for casting heat size as small as 5 ton

and modules are available for casting section from 80 mm x 80 mm to 160 mm x

160 mm reduced operating cost and casters that are simple and safer to

operate.

2. Bullet Caster: Electrotherm has launched Bullet Caster

which is all set to revolutionize small and medium scale

steel making around the world. It can cast Billet /

Bloom Section from 100 mm x 100 mm to

400 mm x 400 mm.

Electrotherm offers a complete range of melting units -high-impedance EAFs

with the capacity for producing heat sizes from 3 Ton to 200 t in technical

collaboration with Vitkovice Heavy Machinery, Czech Republic. Raw material

may be up to 100% scrap or various mixes of hot metal, pig iron, DRI (hot and/or

cold) and HBI, utilizing electrical and chemical energy, according to unit costs

and power grid characteristics. The EAF operation can be made fully automatic

by applying a series of technological packages to optimize the process, to be

selected on a case-by-case basis depending on the performance figures to be

achieved.

Turnkey Steel Billets and rolled products Projects : Electrotherms

offers turnkey steel mills for billets and rolled products from

concept to finished products. Electrotherm adopts

processes to reduce production costs to make

our plants financially viable and efficient

prod ucts of steel billets and rolled steel.

Turnkey Ductile Iron Pipe Project: Electrotherm offers turnkey projects which produce ductile iron pipes through latest heat

treatment process to increase tensile and yield strength while simultaneously reducing elongation and improved corrosion

resistance producing stronger ductile iron pipes easier to tap, requires less support and provides greater flow area.

Turnkey Coal Based DRI Project: Electrotherm offers turnkey solution for Coal based DRI projects. The main equipments used in

the process are Rotary kiln, Rotary cooler and gas handling, cooling and cleaning system. Product range: 100 TPD, 350 TPD and

500 TPD.


ELECTRO 500D LPSSuper Ductile

TMT Bars

Steel Plant: Electrotherm has a Steel Plant with 500,000 TPA capacity for producing structural

steel, alloy steel and stainless steel. This plant has three induction Furnaces of 20 Ton capacity,

one DC LRF and one 2-Strand CCM in SMS 1; and two induction furnaces of 20 T capacity,

one 25 T MRK, one AC LRF, Vacuum Degassing and 2-Strand CCM in SMS-2.

Special Steel Division: Electrotherm continuos TMT bar mill has capacity

of 1,50,000 Tonnes per annum to supply high quality TMT bars for

construction and infrastructure Projects. The products are BIS

certified and commands a premium in the market due to

superior shape, quality, mechanical and metallurgical

properties.

High Quality Steel billets: Electrotherm's Steel Division spreads on agreen belt with 360,000 TPA capacity. The Steel Billets manufactured atElectrotherm are consumed around the globe by various Industries. Thehigh quality refining of steel ensures the strength making our products asuperior quality touch.

Electro TMT Plus Bars: ‘Electro TMT plus’ bars are high qualityconstruction steel with superior shape, quality and better mechanical &Metallurgical properties.

Electro TMT CRS GoId Bars: Corrosion is the biggest enemy ofconstruction. It is a slow killer attacking houses, bridges, dams andindustrial plants. Electrotherm has developed Corrosion Resistant Steel(CRS) Bars for ensuring longer life of costly structures.

Stainless Steel: Electrotherm quality stainless steel caters tointernational specification for world wide application from utensil toindustry.

Electro TLT Angles & Structurals

Transmission Line Towers are made from high qualitv and high tensile angles and other structures.

Electrotherm has set up a state of the art structural rolling mill for rolling angles suitable for

transmission line tower and other engineering applications.

Sponge Iron & Pig Iron

Electrotherm with its Sponge & Pig iron production serves the entire requirement

of its Steel melting and DI Pipes plants. Facilitated with its captive production,

the Sponge and Pig iron production at Electrotherm meets the best

quality grades serving nations across the Globe.

Solar Energy Plant: Electrotherm has always been concerned about the rising problems of environment.

The company has started supplying solar energy plant which is pollution free renewable source in

generating energy.

Electrotherm Renewable, a division of Electrotherm India Ltd, is an emerging leader in the

field of Renewable energy in India. With a commitment towards harnessing the solar

energy and to provide the safe and clean energy, Electrotherm Renewable has

manufacturing facilities at Ahmedabad, Gujarat with the State of the Art

Automated facilities to match the world class production line.

"EleCtra" brand solar water heating systems are the efforts of

technological innovations to cater to the needs of hot water to

the Domestic Segments, industrial applications and

Process Industries. These systems are designed and

manufactured to suite all geographical

Electrotherm has started manufacturing of transformers

with high and lower ratings as a contribution in a ramp-up in

distribution infrastructure including the replacement market.

Transformer Division

The competence and expertise of the company in power electronics and an intensine R&D effort of more

than 3 year the company has developed and launched Electric bikes and Scooters under the brand name Yo

Bykes with a installed capacity of 2,50,000 unit-per annum.

Battery Operated Scooter is personal electric two wheeler, that is pollution free, silent and

with only a battery connected to an electric motor, with a feel of smooth riding all

weather vehicle with zero maintenance and nominal cost operation.
