Go on a Nature Walk -see chart Count how many windows are in your house. Tell at least three animals that talked to the spider in the story. Activity #2 Can you name at least three insects that the cricket saw in the story? Tell someone about your favorite insect and why you like it. Tell what the bear did to make the bees want to make more honey. Practice moving like an insect - hop like a grasshopper, fly like a butterfly, crawl like a beetle, etc. Art/Craft Try making one of these: Healthy Snacks Draw your own insect or use playdough and make one. Make a different snack from Monday or try: Spider Math Snack Turn a paper plate into a beetle/insect. Paint or color it, add spots/stripes, legs, eyes, etc. Letter of the Week Letter J Make a list of J words with the help of someone bigger than you. Practice writing J with a pencil or crayon.
