Report on Educational Tour at Parle-India, Madhapar (Bhuj)

6-7th February, 2016

An educational tour to Parle-India Madhapar (Bhuj) was organized on 6-7th February, 2016.

Total 53 students along with 3 faculty members (Dr. M. K. Valand, Dr. R. S. Patel and Dr.

Vipul Kataria) went to visit Parle-India.

The tour commenced at 10:00 PM on 5thFebruary, 2016. We reached Bhuj Swaminararyan

Temple in morning on 6th February. We stayed there for 2 hours and took breakfast. We went

to Parle-India at 11:00 AM. They first showed us the documentary movie regarding inception

of the company. Later on we visited the plant. We returned to our stay in afternoon and took

lunch. In the evening we visited Takhteshwari temple, a tracking point just 5 km away from

Bhuj city. The students enjoyed the free space and time. In the night we stayed at

Swaminarayan Temple.

The next day (7th February, 2016) we visited Black hill in the morning that is 80 km from

Bhuj. We also went to a place there where magnetic effect was observed last year. We took

lunch there. In the afternoon, we left for White Desert that is seasonal salt marsh located in

the Thar Desert in the Kutch District of Gujarat, India. We also collected samples from there

in order to analyse them chemically. In the night, we took dinner there.

we left for Vallabh Vidyanagar at 9100 PM on 7th February. we reached safely to Vallabh

Vidyanagar at 9:00 AM on 81h February.
