as follows.

l. The project proponent Tvl.Sai Hridham

Infraa (P) Ltd has submitted the proposal for

the grant of Terms of Reference with Public

Hearing Proposed Rough Stone & Gravel

quaruy lease over an extent of 1.68.0 Ha at

S.F.Nos. 80/3,80/4,80/5,80/6,80117 & 80/19

at Melur Village, Kulathur Taluk,

pudukkottai District.

In the 208th meeting of SEAC held on

24.03.2021, the SEAC has recommended the

proposal for the issue of the following Terms

of Reference along with public hearing for

the proposed project among others:

a. Restricting the maximum depth of

mining up to 41m (35mofRoughSone,

2 m of weatlrered rock & 4 m of Crrav{

mining over five years and the EIA

may be prepared considering the

ultimate depth as 41 m.

b. The TOR is issued onlY for the

rectangular section excluding

remaining area on the eastem side

bearing SF. No.80/17. Hence, the

project proponent shall revise mining

plan, only for the rectangular section

excluding remaining area on the

eastern side bearing SF. No.80/17.

c. The project proponent shall furnish

revised proposal for green belt area

including said area on the eastem

side bearing SF. No.80/17.

In view of the above, the Authority unanimously

accepts the recommendation of SEAC and

decided to grant Terms of Reference (ToR)

with Public Hearing under cluster for

undertaking the combined Environment Impact

Assessment Study and preparation of separate

Environment Management Plan subject to the

conditions as recommended by SEAC & normal

condition in addition to the following condition.

l. The Proponent, Executive Engineer,

PWD/WRD, has applied for Environmental

Clearance for the proposed Sand quarry over

an extent of 4.90Ha in Palar river bed in

S.F.No. 242(P) in Arumparuthi Village,

Katpadi Taluk, Vellore District.

2. In the 208th meeting of SEAC held on

24.03.2021, the SEAC has recommended the

proposal for grant of Environmental

Clearance subject to the following conditions

among others:

a. Permitted ultimate depth of mining is

restricted to theoretical bed level.

Hence the quantitY that shall be

mined up to theoretical bed level as

per the approved mining Plan is

51297m3.

b. Manual Mining shall be carried out

using Bullock carts only restricting

up to 198 Nos. of bullock carts Per

day.

3. On verifying the Form-I, Precise atea

communication letter and Mining Plan

approval letter, it was noticed that the extent

of sand quarry is 4.90 Ha whereas in the

SEAC minute, the extent of sand quarry is

typed inadvertently as 4.94 Ha

In view of the above, the Authority unanimously

accepts the recommendation of SEAC and

decided to grant Environmental Clearance for

the proposed Sand quarry over an extent of

4.90Ha in Palar river bed in S.F.No. 242(P) in

condition in addition to the following condition.

1. As per the recommendation of SEAC and as

accepted by the proponent, the ultimate

depth of mining is restricted to l4m (12 m of

Ordinaly strrne & 2 m of GmvO considering the

environmental impacts due to the mining,

safety of the working personnel and
