Whereas in exercise of the powers conferred by clause (1) of the Article 258 of the Constitution on India, the President of India has, in the Ministry of Food, Agriculture, Community Development and Co-operation (Department of Agriculture) Notification No. 4(1)65 General-II, dated 23rd April 1966, entrusted to the Government of Tamil Nadu with their consent, the functions of the Central Government under the Land Acquisition Act, 1894 (Central Act I of 1894) in relation to acquisition of lands for the purpose of the Union in the State. And, whereas the lands specified in the Schedule below are needed for a public purpose, to wit, for the formation of 4th Broad Gauge Railway Line between Tiruvallur and Arakkonam. Notice to that effect is hereby given to all to whom it may concern in accordance with the provisions of sub-section (1) of Section 4 of the Land Acquisition Act 1894 (Central Act 1 of 1894). And, whereas it has become necessary to acquire the immediate possession of the lands specified in the schedule below, the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby directs that the lands to be acquired under the provisions of sub-section (2) Section 17 of the said Act. Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-Section (2) of Section 4 of the said Act, the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby authorizes the Revenue Divisional Officer, Tiruvallur, his staff and workmen to exercise the powers conferred by the said sub-section. Under clause (c) of section 3 of the said Act, the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby apoints the Revenue Divisional Officer, Tiruvallur, to perform the functions of the Collector under the said Act. Under sub-section (4) of the Section 17 of the said Act, the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby directs that in view of the urgency of the case, the provisions of 5A of Act, shall not apply to this case. Whereas in exercise of the powers conferred byclause (1) of the Article 258 of the Constitution on India, thePresident of India has, in the Ministry of Food, Agriculture,Community Development and Co-operation (Department ofAgriculture) Notification No. 4(1)65 General-II, dated23rd April 1966, entrusted to the Government of Tamil Naduwith their consent, the functions of the Central Governmentunder the Land Acquisition Act, 1894 (Central Act I of 1894)in relation to acquisition of lands for the purpose of theUnion in the State.

And, whereas the lands specified in the Schedule beloware needed for a public purpose, to wit, for the formationof 4th Broad Gauge Railway Line between Tiruvallur andArakkonam. Notice to that effect is hereby given to all towhom it may concern in accordance with the provisions ofsub-section (1) of Section 4 of the Land Acquisition Act1894 (Central Act 1 of 1894).

And, whereas it has become necessary to acquirethe immediate possession of the lands specified in theschedule below, the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby directsthat the lands to be acquired under the provisions ofsub-section (2) Section 17 of the said Act.

Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred bysub-Section (2) of Section 4 of the said Act, the Governorof Tamil Nadu hereby authorizes the Revenue Divisional Officer,

Whereas in exercise of the powers conferred by clause (1)of Article 258 of the Constitution on India, the President of Indiahas, in the Ministry of Food, Agriculture, CommunityDevelopment and Co-operation (Department of Agriculture)Notification No. 4(1)65 General-II dated 23rd April 1966,entrusted to the Government of Tamil Nadu with their consent,the functions of the Central Government under the LandAcquisition Act, 1894 (Central Act I of 1894) in relation toacquisition of land for the purpose of the Union in this State.

And, whereas the lands specified in the schedule beloware needed for a public purpose, to wit, for the formation of 4thBroad Gauge Railway Line between Tiruvallur and Arakkonam.Notice to that effect is hereby given to all to whom it mayconcern in accordance with the provisions of sub-section (1)of Section 4 of the Land Acquisition Act 1894 (Central Act 1of 1894).

And, whereas it has become necessary to acquireimmediate possession of the lands specified in the schedulebelow, the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby directs that thelands be acquired under the provision of sub-section (2) Section17 of the said Act.

Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred bysub-Section (2) of Section 4 of the said Act, the Governor ofTamil Nadu hereby Authorizes the Revenue Divisional Officer,Tiruvallur, his staff and workmen to exercise the powersconferred by the said sub-section. Under clause (c) ofSection 3 of the said Act, the Governor of Tamil Nadu herebyapoints the Revenue Divisional Officer, Tiruvallur, to performthe functions of the Collector under the said Act..

Under sub-section (4) of the Section 17 of the said Act,the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby directs that in view of theurgency of the case, the provisions of 5.A of the said Act, shallnot apply to this case.

And, whereas the lands specified in the schedule below areneeded for a public purpose, to wit, for the formation of 4thBroad Gauge Railway line between Tiruvallur and Arakkonam.Notice to that effect is hereby given to all to whom it mayconcern in accordance with the provisions of sub-section (1) ofSection 4 of the Land Acquisition Act 1894 (Central Act1 of 1894).

And, whereas it has become necessary to acquire immediatepossession of the lands specified in the schedule below, theGovernor of Tamil Nadu hereby directs that the lands be acquiredunder the provisions of sub-section (2) Section 17 of thesaid Act.

Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred bysub-section (2) of Section 4 of the said Act, the Governor ofTamil Nadu hereby authorizes the Revenue Divisional Officer,Tiruvallur, his staff and workmen to exercise the powers conferredby the said sub-section under clause (c) of Section 3 of the saidAct, the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby appoints the RevenueDivisional Officer, Tiruvallur, to perform the functions of theCollector under the said Act.

Whereas in exercise of the powers conferred by clause(1) of the Articles 258 of the constitution of India, thePresident of India has, in the Ministry of Food, Agriculture,Community Development and Co-operation (Department ofAgriculture) Notification No.4 (i)/65, General (II) dated the23rd April, 1966 entrusted to the Government of Tamil Naduwith their consent, the function of the Central Governmentunder the Land Acquisition Act, 1894 (Central Act I of 1894)in relation to Acquisition of Land for the purpose for theUnion in this State.

And, whereas, the Lands specified in the schedule beloware needed for a public purpose to wit for Road Over Bridgeapproach Road due to the formation of Salem-Karur BroadGauge Railwayline Project, notified to the effect is hereby givento all to whom It may concern in accordance with the provisionsof sub-sections (1) of the Section 4 of the Land AcquisitionAct, 1894 (Central Act I of 1894);

And, whereas it has become necessary to acquire theimmediate possession of the Lands specified in theSchedule below, the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby directsthat the Lands to be acquired under the provisions of subsection (2) of Section 17 of the said Act;

No. II(2)/TRA/480(f-13)/2013.Whereas in exercise of the powers conferred by clause (1) of Article 258 of the Constitution of India, the President

of India has, in the Ministry of Food, Agriculture, Community Developement and Co-operation (Department of Agriculture)Notification No. 4(1)65 General-II dated 23rd April 1966, entrusted to the Government of Tamil Nadu with their consent,the functions of the Central Government under the Land Acquisition Act, 1894 (Central Act I of 1894) in relation toacquisition of land for the purposes of the Union in State.

And, whereas the lands specified in the schedule below are needed for a public purpose, to wit, for the formation ofLaying of new broad gauge line between Tindivanam to Tiruvannamalai. Notice to that effect is hereby given to all to whomit may concern in accordance with the provisions of sub-section (1) of Section 4 of the Land Acquisition Act 1894 ( CentralAct 1 of 1894 ).

And, whereas it has become necessary to acquire immediate possession of the lands specified in the schedulebelow, the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby directs that the lands be acquired under the provision of sub-section (1) Section17 of the said Act.

Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-Section (2) of Section 4 of the said Act, the Governor ofTamil Nadu hereby authorizes the Revenue Divisional Officer, Tiruvannamalai, Tiruvannamalai District. His staff andworkmen to exercise the powers conferred by the said sub-section. Under clause © of section.

Under sub-section (4) of the Section 17 of the said Act, the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby directs thatin view of the urgency of the case, the provisions of the 5-A of the said Act, shall not apply to this case.

Under sub-section (1) of Section 3 of the Tamil Nadu Acquisition of Land for Industrial Purpose Act 1997 (Tamil NaduAct 10 of 1999).
