Restricted gifts are generally in the form of donations to a named memorial fund or scholarship. Unrestricted gifts are added to the corpus of the Foundation’s endowment fund. A portion of the interest earned by the endowment fund is returned to the school annually to support such programs as tuition assistance and teacher salaries and benefits.
