INTRODUCTION

Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Sri N. Chandra Babu

Naidu, has a dream to make AP an education hub with

international standards. Towards this end the state

has taken initiative for launching several premium

institutions, even while bringing in reforms in the

education sector.

Prof. Murru Mutyalu Naidu garu taking charge as Vice

Chancellor of Adikavi Nannaya University on 4th

December, 2015, said that he would make efforts to

develop the university phase wise on all fronts. He

would introduce new courses useful to the students

and put all his efforts to get funds from the

government.

The Vice Chancellor met the Chief Minister on 9th

December, 2015 to request all possible support from

the government.

India (ICSI) to recognize and reward

meritorious students of B.Com from affiliated

Entrepreneurs of India) an NGO on 10.03.2016,

to provide training in entrepreneurship to

women students

MOU with International Technology University

(ITU), California, USA on 28.3.2016. Students

of all affiliated colleges of ANUR are eligible to

apply for Post Graduate Courses in ITU

PLACEMENTS AND TRAININGS

The Placement Training and Research Guidance

Centre (PTRGC) has been initiated on 01.02.2016

in Adikavi Nannaya University to liaise between the

job seekers and the job providers. We strive to

provide all possible job opportunities for the

students of ANUR both in the home land and

outside

APSSDC in collaboration with Adikavi Nannaya

University coordinated training programs. 205

students attended training for 10 days at

SKSD Women‟s College, Tanuku, 170 students

attended training for 10 days at YN College

10 days at Samhita degree college,

on 2nd April 2016 at GIET College. 3300

students participated in this job mela and out

of them 525 students got selected

from GIET and Adikavi Nannaya University

A job mela was conducted on 21stMay 2016, at

Sasi Engineering College, Tadepalligudem by

students were selected amongst the 4200

INTRODUCTION

Adikavi Nannaya University, a fledgling finding its wings,

has been growing by the day, in pursuit of excellence in

education and employability, under the aegis of Prof.

Murru Mutyalu Naidu, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor. It being

the largest university in the State, his relentless efforts

to cater to the needs of more than one lakh students (of

more than 450 affiliated colleges), the stake holders of

the future of AP, is evidenced by the various activities

conducted at Adikavi Nannaya University,

Rajamahendravaram

The highlight of the second half year period of Prof. Murru

Mutyalu Naidu as Vice Chancellor of Adikavi Nannaya

University, was the visit by our Hon’ble Chief Minister Sri

Nara Chandra Babu Naidu, accompanied by a Galaxy of

Ministers, MPs, MLAs and Bureaucrats during his whirlwind

visit through the District on 19.11.2016. Chandra Babu

promises to make Andhra Pradesh a Knowledge Hub and

develop Adikavi Nannaya University as one of the leading

Universities in the country.
