Community Integration

A roadmap to success and a pathway to employment…

In 2019-20, we partnered with 113 Individuals with developmental disabilitieswho…

• Completed Paid Internships

• Attended community college

Since March, Community Integration is doing well. Serving 108 individuals in-person and remotely through technology. Individuals are continuing to meet daily, attend classes and achieve their goals.

Supported by 37 Community Integration Employees in Alameda, Contra Costa and San Francisco Counties

• Since the beginning: In addition to individual sessions on zoom/video chat/phone call- we geared towards meeting client goals and continued in-person work for 1:1's and in-person support

• Through March: started out with individual calls/check-ins- over the phone activities

• Starting in April: progressing to Zoom sessions and classes- 4/week

• Now in December: 8 CI classes, 3 CCSF classes, 2-4 ES classes, fun gatherings- Halloween and Hispanic Heritage Event, ISP's on Zoom

In 2019-20, with the help of our new partners Lighthouse for the Blind, YMCA, Java Joy, and current partners: Eastbay Municipal District (EBMUD), Marriott WC, Pinterest, Bakeworks, UCSF, CPUC, and Colliers Property Management, we were able to build a successful internship program.

• Shipping/receiving

• Office support/administrative
