Republic Day Parade Camp 2020

NSS Directorate, Govt. of India, New Delhi selected Dr. M. Sudhakar, NSS DPO as Contingent

Leader for the NSS Republic Day Parade Camp 2020 scheduled from 01-01-2020 to 31-01-2020

through the NSS Regional Directorate, Hyderabad. He is the only person selected by the Govt. of

India from West Zone among the Contingent Leaders of seven states

• On the occasion of New Year 2018, the students have distributed Food & Sweets at

ACM Student Chapter-HOUR OF CODE EVENT (2018)

Introduction:

On the occasion of “Hour of Code” event conducted by ACM organisation an event is

organised at YANAMADALA ZILLA PARISHIT HIGH SCHOOL by student members and faculty members

of ACM Student Chapter named as THE FORE RUNNERS - RVR & JC College of Engineering for 8th and

9th class students.

This event is a group of 5 sub events that are based on current trending technologies and Computer

Hardware which are briefly described below. At the end our principal DR KOTA SRINIVASA RAO and

Head of Computer Science Department DR M SRILATHA had addressed the children and presented

the gifts to actively participated students, encouraged them and motivated them with their speech.

On the Other hand children had learnt about the use of growing technologies in their daily life.

Demonstration of IOT project:

We demonstrated Smart Irrigation System using IOT. It uses soil moisture sensor, ESP-8266

Wi-Fi module and an Arduino to develop a smart irrigation system project that detects the

change in moisture level in the soil and controls the flow of water accordingly.

Introduction:

On the occasion of “Hour of Code” conducted by ACM organisation an event was organised at

SRI VENKATESWARA BALA KUTEERby student members and faculty members of ACM Student Chapter

named as THE FORERUNNERS - RVR & JC College of Engineering for 8th and 9th class students.

The event was commenced by the arrival of several students that included both English medium

(Ushodaya English Medium School) and Telugu medium (Nandana Grameena High School) which are

part of SRI VENKATESWARA BALA KUTEER. This event consists of 5 sub events that are based on

current trending technologies and Basics of Computers which are briefly described below. At the end

our principal Dr. K. SRINIVASU and Head of Computer Science Department Dr. M. SREELATHA had

addressed the children and presented the prizes tostudents who actively participated in various

events and guided them with their inspirational words and motivated them to do better. This is an

opportunity to upskill children about the use of growing technologies in their daily life.
