Sony’s new VPL-FW300L and VPL-FH300L “larger-venue” business projec-

tors make a big impression with crowd pleasing, dynamic projection and

illuminating performance. These projectors are ideal for larger classrooms of

65 to 150 seats, mid-size auditoriums, corporate board rooms and training

rooms, pre-shows in movie theaters,museum exhibitions, event centers and

ballrooms – or virtually anywhere you want to impress a larger audience.

Both projectors share a common chassis and use the same lenses, lamps,

filters, connections (inputs/outputs) and network functions. The VPL

FW300L is Sony’s first fixed installation business projector featuring WXGA+

(1366 x 800) resolution at 7000 lumens brightness. And the VPL-FH300L is

Sony’s first fixed installation business

projector featuring 2K HD resolution imaging panels (2048 x 1080) at 6000

lumens brightness.

Both models employ Sony’s new BrightEra™ inorganic LCD panels and

High output performance combined with acceptance of a wide range of signalsincluding digital signals means the VPLFX52 can be used everywhere fromlarge venue to meeting room applications. The VPL-FX52 can be mounted on aceiling, on a floor, or installed in a rear projection system. Network connectionallows for control.

Interchangeable lenses make the FX52 ideal for sanctuary and auditorium usewhere a far throw is required from the back of the hall or where a short throw isneeded for rear screen projection. The 6000 lumen output is ample to handlemost ambient light conditions, but for additional output dual FX52s could bestacked and aligned. Since the FX52 is often used with large screens, youmay want to be certain to scale standard video and other sources up to thenative resolution of the projector, so scan lines are not so apparent from in theblown-up image. A Kramer VP 727 switcher-scaler or Sony Anycast canachieve this scaling while saving you with one cable run to the projector.

The biggest change from Simple Signage is the ability to group. This meansthat content can be made for a group of signs and sent to all the signs inthat group in one step.The ICS-FW40 supports real-time streaming of HDfrom a centralized location of High Definition MPEG4/2, H.264 and WM9.Streaming data may be either UDP or UDP multicast to reduce overallnetwork requirements. Advanced signage adds layering capability. This means that thescreen can be “sliced” up in two sections and one section can beplaying video while another section is playing a graphic. The NS7has the ability to play back WM9HD. The maximum length of avideo continuous video is 30mins per file. Since the NS7 can switchbetween two video files within one frame, it will be possible to makea continuous video output. The NS7 has two RS232 control ports.It has control over projectors and display devices, general schedul-ing, and NS7 management. ScreenStar wide-angle and long throw conversionlenses increase picture size or increase your throwdistance by 20-50%. ScreenStar lenses are placed infront of the factory lens. The new 0.65X and 0.8X wide-angle and 1.2X and 1.5X telephoto conversion lensesallow users to easily arive at the picture size needed.

For Example:The ScreenStar wide-angle 0.8X conversion lens fits easily in front of the standard lens and allows theuser to achieve up to a 20% wider picture on the screen without having to move the projector. Or, theuser could move the projector 20% closer and get the same image size. Consider that the typical DLPformat projector user could get a 96” diagonal picture at the same distance where they might haveonly been able to achieve an 80” diagonal picture in a front projection, ceiling mount or rear projectionapplication.

Our ScreenStar telephoto 1.2X conversion lens also fits easily in front of the standard lens. It allowsthe user to project a 20% smaller image or move the projector up to 20% farther away from the screenand still achieve the desired picture size. Home theater interior designers often prefer to locate theprojector at the back of the room rather than placing it overhead in the middle of the room. For example,a DLP projector user can achieve a 120” diagonal picture from a distance of 18-24’ as opposed to adistance of 15-20’ with the projector’s standard lens.There are projector mount adapters required.

What is the cost of going back to a job to replace or repair a problem flat panel? The Sony Worry

Free Program makes a statement about the confidence you can have in Sony’s build quality. Things

typically don’t go wrong, as with other brands. But if there is a problem, you have a 30 day

exchange and on site service to cover you.

On Site Service

Under the ASC On Site Service program, qualifying products within the warranty period will be serviced On Site.Once the end user calls the 1-877-350-3477 number, they will locate a local service provider to come fix theunit on site. If product is not serviceable on site, the unit will be taken back to the local service location forrepair. Most ASC locations are authorized to performed panel replacement.NOTE: Any returned Plasma unit with Image Retention defect is subject to charge back to the customer forthe panel repair or exchange cost.

30 Day return:

Under the 30 day rule, any qualifying product that fails within the first 30 days of purchase will be exchangedwith new similar product. Customer must call Sony directly at 1-877-350-3477 to request the replacement unit.(END USER MUST NOT RETURN TO THE RESELLER OR DISTRIBUTOR)

PAYMENT TERMS

PAST DUE ACCOUNTS

All invoices are due according to the terms stated on the invoice. Afinance charge of 1.5% per month will be assessed on the unpaidbalance of all invoices past due. In the event a finance charge isnot assessed on a monthly basis that shall not be deemed a waiverof our right to assess such charges at a later date. Accountsextending 45 days beyond the invoice date may be placed on CODCertified, CIA or Credit Card status. Accounts extending 65 daysmay be referred to an agency for collection.

RETURNED CHECKS

A $30 charge is applied to all checks returned for insufficient fundsand discount privileges are forfeited on applicable invoices.

DEFAULT

In the event collection is required for past due invoices andaccounts, you agree to pay reasonable costs and attorney feesincurred.

SHORTAGES OR DAMAGED SHIPMENTS

All shortages or damaged shipments must be noted on carrier'sbill of lading or similar document. A claim against the carriermust be filed per ICC regulations and we must be notified inwriting within 10 days of the invoice date.

RETURN POLICY

A return authorization (RA) number must accompany allmerchandise returned for credit. A 25% restocking charge maybe assessed on all returned goods. Special Orders may not bereturned.

REPAIR/RETURN POLICY

Repairs of defective merchandise under warranty should bearranged between the end user and the manufacturer.Merchandise should not be returned to Starin Distributing forrepair unless instructed to do so. A return authorization (RA)number must accompany all merchandise returned for repairalong with information that will assist in the diagnosing of theproblem.

MAP POLICY
