LUXURY PACKAGE*: The Luxury Package is the ultimate in sophis-

ticated travel. Adding to the 2WD and 4WD EX models, you’ll find

leather-trimmed seats and door panels, an AM/FM stereo cassette

with 6-disc in-dash CD changer, a 4-way adjustable power driver’s

seat, exclusive two-tone paint, body side moldings and fender flares.

2WD EX: Our 2WD EX comes with a standard 4-speed automatic

transmission, power moonroof with tilt feature, aluminum-alloy

wheels, fog lights, rear privacy glass, a leather-wrapped 4-spoke

steering wheel, simulated wood-grain interior trim, dual heated

power mirrors and security system with remote entry.

4WD EX: The 4WD EX also has shift-on-the-fly 4WD, a limited-

slip differential and 4-wheel disc brakes with ABS.

2WD LX: The 2WD LX comes with a variety of terrific features.

A powerful 205-horsepower, 3.2 liter, 24-valve, DOHC V-6 engine,

front double wishbone suspension, an anti-lock braking system

(ABS), cruise control, air conditioning, power windows, mirrors and

door locks, floor mats, front and rear 12-volt accessory outlets, dual

illuminated vanity mirrors, AM/FM stereo cassette with 8 speakers,

child-proof rear door locks, rear window wiper/washer, variable-

assist power rack-and-pinion steering and a reclining 60/40 split

fold-down rear seatback.

4WD LX: Our 4WD LX also comes with a variety of great features.

There’s a shift-on-the-fly 4-wheel-drive system, aluminum-alloy

wheels, a limited-slip differential and 4-wheel disc brakes with ABS.

While the Passport’s exterior is designed to

handle the rain, sleet and snow, its interior

is designed to make you feel relaxed and

comfortable. Comfort and luxury rule in

its spacious, well-appointed cabin. Honda

ergonomics are a testament to

logic. Everything is where it

should be. Air conditioning, cruise

control, power windows and door locks,

convenient beverage holders and plenty of

storage pockets that just add to the pleasure

of driving your Passport. The multi-position

adjustable second-row seat and a 60/40 split

fold-down rear seatback offer lots of room for

friends or stuff. (Whichever you happen to

have more of.) On the EX, the power moonroof

with tilt feature, leather-wrapped steering

wheel and beautiful simulated wood-grain

trim will please your sense of style. While the

Luxury Package takes it a step

further with a rich, leather-

Versatile, capable and tough, the Passport has been engineered from the ground up

for an active lifestyle. Its 205-hp, 3.2 liter, 24-valve engine produces 214 lb.-ft. of torque

and also runs so clean that the Passport qualifıes as a Low-Emission Vehicle (LEV).

The 3.2 liter Passport engine’s

highly efficient 4-valve combustion

chambers help spread torque over

a broad range of engine speeds.

That means there’s plenty of power

and torque for climbing grades,

passing or merging with traffic.

With eight inches of ground clear-

ance and a rugged coil-spring rear

suspension, the Passport can get you

to some definitely out-of-the-way

places. Gas-pressurized shock

absorbers keep everything under

control, on or off the road.

Keep right on going. When you

need more traction, the Passport’s

versatile shift-on-the-fly 4-wheel-

drive system lets you distribute

power and traction to all four

wheels, without having to stop.

Boats, travel trailer, motorcycles.. .With

its standard 3,500 lbs. towing capacity

(4,500 maximum†), the Passport is up to

the job of towing your favorite toys.

Drive-by-wire throttle control and a 32-bit-processor engine-management system optimize

response and performance. Passport’s available 4-speed automatic transmission features a

lockup torque converter and overdrive, which makes highway cruising more economical.

The transmission’s “Winter”setting helps reduce wheel spin when starting from a stop on

snow or ice. And the “Power” setting lets the transmission downshift sooner and upshift

later, for faster acceleration. If the road gets a little “challenging,” the added capabilities

of a limited-slip differential and high- and low-range shift-on-the-fly 4-wheel drive

(4WD LX, EX) give you optimal traction in almost any condition. Front double wishbone and

rear coil-spring suspension give it a smooth, controlled ride regardless of road conditions,

and variable-assist power rack-and-pinion steering takes the effort out of maneuvering and

parking. Remember: Honda asks you to respect the environment, so that others may enjoy

it, too. Tread Lightly!® on public and private land.

Rain, snow, potholes, other drivers... There are a lot of reasons you may need the safety and

security of a Passport. Its tall stance gives you excellent outward visibility in all directions and

makes it easier for others to see you. A 4-wheel anti-lock braking system (ABS) is standard on

all models. So are mud- and snow-rated tires, as well as skid plates under the radiator and fuel

tank (and transfer case on 4WD models). The body-on-frame construction of the Passport has

been reinforced in key areas for added strength, forming a strong safety cage for the driver and

passengers. Impact-energy-absorbing crush zones are built into the front and rear, and steel

beams in the doors help protect in the event of a side impact. Inside, there’s a complete list of

safety features, including dual airbags,‡ 3-point seat belts at all outboard seating positions

(the center-rear seat position has a lap belt), adjustable head restraints and child-proof rear

door locks. Auto-locking seat belt retractors and the LATCH (Lower Anchors and Tethers for

Children) system make installing a compatible child seat quick and easy.

Important safety features like dual

front airbags (SRS)‡ are standard

on every Passport. They provide

additional protection in the event

of a significant full-frontal impact.

The Passport’s body-on-frame

construction helps form a strong

safety cage for its passengers,

while crush zones and side-impact

beams in the doors help absorb

impact energy.

Dual heated power mirrors (EX)

clear ice, snow and mist for better

visibility. A rear window wiper/

washer, halogen headlights and

all-season mud- and snow-rated

tires are all standard.

A standard 4-wheel anti-lock

braking system (ABS) helps

you retain steering control and

maneuverability during heavy

braking or on slippery surfaces.
