Select List under Punjab state, but at the later stage while doing the scrutiny of the documents it

was found that he belongs to Himachal Pradesh, and not to Punjab State. Therefore, in the

revised result, he didn’t qualify since he couldn’t able to secure the requisite cut off as decided

for Himachal Pradesh. He is opted for-A i.e BSF and the cut off marks for SC category is 51 for

BSF and he got only 38 marks.

Please refer to your RTI appeal which has been sent to the CIC for not getting

satisfactory reply from the CPIO. In this regard the information are as follows:

(a) Sh. Sunil Kumar had scored 38 marks in the ITBP exam 2011 and the cut off was 48 in

RL2, 66 in RL1 and 62 in Select List for the unreserved candidates. Further for the

constable (GD) in BSF, CRPF, CISF and SSB Sh. Sunil Kumar had scored only 37 marks

he has opted for BSF and the cut off for the state of Himachal Pradesh for BSF was 59

marks under unreserved Category. Therefore you could see that the candidate Sh. Sunil

Kumar had scored less marks then the cut off marks. There is no marks for the physical

test and medical examination and it is only qualifying in nature and the final merit list is

determined only on the basis on the marks scored by the candidate in the written

examination.

(b) The information is already given at (a) above.

(c) (1) The candidate is not selected in final merit list therefore he did not received any

joining/training letter.

(2) All the details about the candidate those recruited in the year 2011-12 were already

available on the website (www.ssc.nic.in) and (www.sssnwr.org), further the addresses of

the candidate is not available in one place as sought by you and if you wish you could

visit the office and see the address.

(3) There was no delay and reply was sent by the CPIO within the time limit.
