Pengertian Flat File Source

File teks biasa biasanya berisi saturecordper baris, Ada konvensi yang berbeda untuk

menggambarkan data. Dalamcomma-separated danpembatas-separated values file,bidang dapat

dipisahkan olehpembatas sepertikoma atautab karakter. Dalam kasus lain, setiap bidang

Menggunakan pembatas menimbulkan beberapabiaya overhead dalam menemukan

mereka setiap kali mereka akan diproses (seperti format fixed-width), yang mungkin memiliki

kinerja implikasi. Namun, penggunaan karakter pembatas (terutama koma) juga merupakanbentuk kasarkompresi data yang dapat membantu kinerja secara keseluruhan dengan

mengurangi volume data - terutama untuktransmisi data tujuan. Penggunaan karakter pembatas

KESIMPULAN

Dalam pembelajaran dan pembuatan Flat File Source melalui microsoft visual

studio 2008 serta diIntegrasikan dengan SQL server management studio sangatlah simple

dan mudah. Tampilan solution explorer simple dalam Analysis Service Project yang

sedang kita kerjakan. Pembuatan Flat File Source Analysis Service Project melalui

visual studio 2008 memerlukan database yang sudah jadi dan tinggal mengikuti langkah

diatas. Pembuatan Flat File Source bertujuan untuk mempermudah dalam pengkoneksian

terhadap database.
