ABSTRAK Refined Bleached Deodorized Palm Olein ( RBDP Olein ) diperoleh dari hasil fraksinasi Refinery Bleached Deodorized Palm Oil ( RBDPO ). Kualitas RBDP Olein dapat ditentukan dengan analisis harga bilangan iodin dan titik keruh. Semakin tinggi harga bilangan iodine, semakin tinggi pula tingkat ketidakjenuhan maka semakin rendahlah titik keruhnya. Sehingga mutu dari RBDP Olein tersebut semakin baik. Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh harga bilangan iodin 56,16 60,22 dan nilai titik keruh 6,2 9,6. Dimana dalam hubungannya dengan kenaikan bilangan iodin terjadi penurunan titik keruh dari olein tersebut. Hasil analisis ini menggambarkan bahwa RBDP Olein produk PT. SMART adalah memenuhi standart internasional.

RELATION BETWEEN THE PRICE OF IODINE VALUE AND CLOUD POINT FROM OLEIN TO OBTAINED FRACTINATION RESULTS RBDPO

IN PT SMART Tbk.

ABSTRACT Refined Bleached Deodoreized Palm Olein (RBDP Olein) obtained from fractination results of Refined Bleached Deodoreized Palm Oil (RBDPO). Quality of RBDP Olein can be determined with analysis of iodine value and cloud point. The higher iodine value, the higher unsatiation so cloud point is lower. So that the quality of RBDP Olein is better. The research results obtained that the price of iodine value 56.16 - 60.22 and cloud point 6.2 - 9.6, where in relation to the increase in the iodine value accured decreasing of cloud point from the olein. This analysis illustrates that RBDP Olein of PT. SMART Tbks product is match with international standard.
