My Room

1. My place of stay in this boarding school is at …… hostel, room ……

2. There, I sleep, rest, study, revise my lessons and there too I place my clothes, books and daily

necessities.

3. My hostel is like my home and there I receive guidance and education from hostel managers and

teachers who monitor me.

4. Therefore, my friends and I have to be responsible for the cleanliness, neatness and its safety.

5. To maintain the health of its members, the hostel has to be cleaned constantly from dirt and its

contents have to be arranged properly.

6. I always carry out my duties and responsibilities in the hostel and maintain discipline.

Going to School

1. Very early in the morning, I walk to school with my friends.

2. The streets in my city are full of children who are going to their respective schools.

3. While walking, I met an old beggar who was sitting at the side of the road.

4. I felt pitiful for the old beggar so I lent him a hand and donated Rp100, 00

5. “Thank you child,” said the beggar. “ May Allah help you in your studies.”

6. I continued my journey to school while revising my lessons with my friends.

7. During school hours, I study hard and I never feel sleepy in class.

General examinations at boarding school

1. In this boarding school, there are two examinations in one year, the mid- year examination and the

final year examination, to improve the quality of studies in the school.

2. The mid- year examination is held from end of Shafar to early Rabi’u-l-Awwal.

3. While, the final year examination is held in Sya’ban.

4. The examination is made up of oral examination and written examination.

5. The final year examination is the one that will determine whether the student will proceed to the next

level or not.

6. The results are normally announced in the middle of Ramadhan and are sent to their parents.

Congregation Prayers

1. All students frequently pray five times a day in a congregation.

2. All of them pray in congregation at jami’ mosque for Maghrib prayers.

3. Other than Maghrib prayers, some of them pray in congregation in their own rooms and some of

them pray at jami’ mosque.

4. The smaller children pray Dhuhur, Maghrib and Isya’ prayers in congregation at the mosque.

5. During Shubuh, Dhuhur, Ashar and Isya’ prayers the bigger children pray in congregation in their

own rooms.

6. Praying in congregation in their room will also train them to become imam.

Garden

1. Muhammad has a garden, which is situated beside his house.

2. In his garden, there are various kinds of flowers being grown.

3. Everyday, he takes care of them.

4. The flowers in the garden are always fresh and beautiful to the extent that attract attention and cause

many people to want to buy them although they are expensive.

5. From that, Muhammad receives a lot of profits.

6. That’s how Muhammad works hard and he should be emulated.
